Some madman putted a cross 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😂
10:10 good Lord, I have watched every episode of Father Ted a bajillion times, but only just noticed the painting behind the singing nun. It clearly shows a toaster with someone putting their fingers into it! It's reminiscent of Caravaggio's famous depiction of Saint Thomas, with the very dark background and the foreground illuminated to show someone's hand trying to "feel for itself" the truth of something. Ahaha! Yep, toasters are HOT.
It’s of Matty Hislop, who they had just been talking about :)
Dick Burn? I had that once. It was terrible.
The first time I washed it I thought I didn't like it, but I tried it again a few years later and Jesus Christ the show is awesome.
I Like Father Jack in this episode, so funny ,and I want to see a episode of the things that Ted and the nun described when they were getting Dougal to remember.
It’s hard to pick a favorite episode, but this one is certainly high on the list.
The one with the rabbits and bishop brennan.
New Jack CITY
Don’t forget the one where he’s a racist
Truly one of the best episodes, the airplane episode is another one I go back to often.
Mine is definitely Noel Furlong and the camper trailer
you were wearing the blue jumper! AH sister Asumpta!
Non catholics may not know that lent is 40 days.... Somehow I don't see Father Jack making it that long.
Locusts, honey, some yeast. Jack would find a way.
I gave up smoking for Lent so this was very relatable. Next year, I’m giving up cigarettes so I can smoke my pipe if needed.
5:11
Please tell me O'Halon and Morgan were actually in those suits. I know it's just a short sight gag but the thought the two would dive right in for the gag makes the whole scene funnier, especially with the dancing glass. And it's so otherworldly hearing Jack spouting out complete sentences for so long.
I also feel bad for Assumpta. She seems like a really nice Nun but she's incredibly dedicated to her faith and practices which made the chocolate scene all the funnier. She just wanted some candy. XD
omg this show is brilliant. I loved it.
Father Jack's hair and makeup are so on point. 👌
3:49 Arnold !?? Who's Arnold!!?😅
13:47 hey hey hey, you there! What the hell is this? Best moment ever
I mean maybe we could teach him to say something other than drink or feck or arse...
Father Ted is quite patient with Father Dougal all things considered.
I have been off them for 7 weeks now
I so love this show!
This is by far my favorite episode!🥰
This show is my comfort food.
love the rubber duck in Dougal's tub
13:39 He's trying so hard not to break character.
8:39 so both Dougal and Jack have teleportation ability
15:33 peoples reactions when they read zack Wells spiderman comics
I love watching this one around Easter
Quitting smoking was the worst five months of my life, of course once I finally actually went a full month without a cigarette I never wanted another one.
This episode is how I feel trying to quit smoking
This is my favorite episode. Its so funny
So choclatey
Sister Asumpta ❤
Great episode
With his lead in his hands, wanting to do the business! Can you imagine that father!?
*his lad
A daily punishment! That's sounds great says Father Ted.
Always a great show!!
13:20 ready to do the business !
2024
Sixth or Seventh rewatch 😂
What's up with the priest and the toaster pic? Odd.
8:55 That is Matty Hislop. He is telling the story because he is the patriarch of that convent which is why Father Ted is reminded of him.
is it just me or does father ted look like the kung fu priest from the toxic avenger?
I think you mean Peter Jacksons classic 'Brain Dead / Dead Alive' ?
Fyi he is
@@trippymchippy8586 HOW DID I ACTUALLY DO THAT? AND HOW DID I JUST SEE THIS TILL NOW? yes i did mean brain dead./ dead alive. the heck did i say toxic avenger for?
Fyi.....that actor in brain-dead was Stuart devenie but father Ted was Dermot Morgan ... lookalike and different name 😅
@@chriskrausesmovieno that's Stuart devenie
It's great when Graham Linehan shows up as a minor character in his own show. Sort of like Hitchcock.
That smile from Sister Asumpta at the end 😇👍😇
1:09 - Graham?
What was the tune @ 21:53?
According to SoundHound it's a piece called 'there was no close match'. Must be about not being able to find love or something.

Where's Episode 7?
Oh my Lord!!!! Not Lent but beating his worst enemy🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Arnold? Who’s Arnold???
Such an impeccable understanding of human nature 😂
12:27
He's no friend of mine!
Who is a nun to say pop tarts aren't important 😂 if something exist it's coz god put it there so she basically said she knows better than her lord
episode 7?
The thing I love about this show is no political correctness or deep massage just good and funny
You sure about that??? 😂
Probably the finest comedy in the world. I watch this episode every Easter. As an atheist, nay an antitheist, it makes me wish that I were religious. Positively wonderful. 24:30
"an antitheist" lmao so cringe🤦♂
@@Joeonline26 hey Joe! A word of advice? Read. Then post. There is such a thing as antitheism. I am that. If you don’t know what it is? Then, errr, read. Google, Wiki, or whatever. It’s not difficult. Learn and grow.
And at least get the feckin’ spelling correct.
@@graemem111 I'm perfectly aware of what it is. And it is such a cringe position to hold to
@@Joeonline26ikr? And to proudly proclaim in a sparse comments section...such a sad tryhard position or edgelord energy.
