I grew up watching this. It's an absoulute classic! This and black books i never tire of them. The simple episodes. My parents and I still quote this show 😂❤
"But its only a matter of time, I mean he is not a young man" Ironic and sad words. The actor who played Father Ted died at age 45 one day after filming final episode. (EDIT: I initially wrote mid 50s shortly after the series, I corrected after the comment below)
He (Dermot Morgan) was 45 when he died in 1998, only a day after filming the final episode. Interestingly, Frank Kelly (Father Jack Hackett) outlived him by exactly 18 years. They both died on the 28th of February.

Just came upon this show recently...can't get enough of it.
Its one of those shows that once you get hold of it, you will not let go
You will. It’s only 3 seasons.
Sadly the show didn't last that long the main actor who played father Ted died at age 45. 😢
Quite entertaining
Me too 😊
"When is the funeral again?" - "Again? We didn't have the first one yet!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Found this show randomly on pbs as a teenager, still makes me crack up 20 years later

I've been watching it since 2000 over and over again . My favorite sitcom
22:02 help me, i am dying.. the seconds it takes for Dougal to register and then he goes "what..ooooh" and faints too AHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAH
Ms. Doyle doesn't give up.
"Again?" Well we haven't had the first one yet"
I cannot count the times this show has made me cackle like a hag. 😆
It's become a tradition for me to watch this and the Lent episode every Easter 😅
Omg that's a great idea 😂

@@twinostrich8045 Thanks for correcting, didnt realize he was that young, and that it was one day after, wow!
Wow! I love this show. RIP Father Ted 😢
Well, of course it was the final episode.
@@twinostrich8045😢 wow
"Ted says you were touching him" gets me every time
"There he is, risen from the dead, like that fella E.T." now that's another great line
How beautiful comedy!
The language effing this, effing that
No she was actually saying FUC.....
Dougal!!!!
Great show. Every character is perfect.
Oh my God, young Father Jack looked like Gene Hackman.
Which was basically Frank Kelly without makeup.
9:40 you can clearly see him breathing hahahaha
Doesn't have to be logical, ye feckin eejit! DRINK! DRINK!
I’m guessing its a hint that Jack is alive at the end.
Well duh he isn't actually dead
I love how insistent Mrs Doyle is with all the food and drinks
Costacurta and Baggio 🤣🤣
19:40 Tongue Fish & Swim Tongue
The two best ever film titles that have never been used.
9:25 - oh please, let him be Pope.
I love how this episode touches upon the misogyny in the Catholic church while also making me laugh out loud 😂
if you are a solicitor, i am boy george :) :) :)
22:02 Cracks me up every time how he sneaks up on Ted 😂🤣😂👏!
This episode made me scared of being buried alive. 😫😂
9:15
10:20
17:20
18:00

Bad for you, father Ted 😂 12:41
This show can be a bit sexist at times, but that's what makes it hilarious😂
Gah, that annoying Monkey Priest...
I hope no one gets offended, but she is cute.
How offensive!
