What system do u play on? Or pc? I play Xbox but hardly get any invasions or duels now a day for ds and ds2

2 weeks in and you can armor switch on backstab? Wild. How’d you practice?
If you know that's a possibility all you need is to get used to opening the menu every time you about to get the bs damage, it's enough time to switch at least the chest piece even without practice, but you can develop speed by armor swapping on your own when you not fighting anyone, once you get used to the menu delay it becomes second nature

@@MrMashroom yeah, putting a video together requires patience, energy and free time, so the clips usually pile up a lot before I actually upload something, I have enough clips for at least another ds1 video haha

nice clips, I sure wish I was this good in my first 2 weeks playing, the only thing I knew how to do was swap and my whole perspective changed when I met a havel mom who I'm now pretty good friends with and I realized my shitty PvE quality build wouldn't hold up so I changed it and only then did I start actually getting good

Dude this is so stupid. Backstabs should never have been included in the game. The hitboxes are broken too so it makes the fights completely goofy

dark souls 2 pvp was floaty and forced way to remove backstabs as well as level design lacking with unrealistic world design such as castle structures that felt more like a stage created rather then a lived in world.

Changing equipment during fight shouldn't had been a thing. 😅
Also this disgusting backstab mechanic that ставить тебе раком. Lagging players, cheaters, animation cancelling. It's better to save your mental health and just do co-op. 🥲
It's pretty fun if you know your options to prevent getting backstabbed though. It's a constant guessing game of what your oppponent will do next, like a very fast paced fighting game. Going blindly at ds1 pvp yes, is a nightmare. The tech you need to know to enjoy the pvp in this game is not something you'd organically learn just by playing the game, I watched a lot of pvp videos and guides before even trying so my experience wasn't that bad.
