@@djpopcorn Elektron‘s drum synths are: syntakt (analog and digital drum synth machines without sampling capabilities), digitone (FM, without sampling capabilities, also includes melodic polyphonic capabilities), and model:cycles (like converged simplified digitone), and analog rytm (analog and digital drum synthesis AND sampling like digitakt before digitakt‘s last huge update).
I like it!
are these samples from another machine?
Yes. The digitakt is a sampler. It comes with a preset sample library but as a pure sampler does not have sounds of its own.
@@elekktrikk_home_video ahh okay. I was under the impression it was ALSO a drum synth, like a physical model. Sort of like the old Korg ER1

@@elekktrikk_home_video Hey! Thanks for taking the time to break it down. Appreciate it! Now, I got to investigate the Syntakt. Might be what I want.
@@djpopcorn 👍 as for syntakt: you might want to check out Jeanne‘s channel. She is THE master of the syntakt: ua-cam.com/video/rNQKatCEX-0/v-deo.html
