I needed to find a working firmware and then get to befriend the LXR. It has its edges - but I like the way it renders the drums very much. This is from the recorded try out. Revived the Octatrack. Again trying to understand it. Didn’t get it to deep clean base but very nice beastie style sound drumloops (came with the box). Playing around with FX (2 neighbor machines for 6 FX) and parts. Nice concept. Recorded directly from headphones output to iPhone 6 via Tascam iXJ2 interface

Another techno track that works around a werped loop. Lots of LFO modulation, BRR, SRR etc.
