In a hall so big and shiny Like nocturnal Buenos Aires That doesn't want to sleep The orchestra are tuning up their instruments They give a sign and will soon begin To play the new tango We're sitting near, indifferent To each other like tourists Tapping out the rhythm There will be no tango between us Even if a miracle was to come true Nothing can help us Even though sharp notes are flowing Blood is burning in the veins None of us will ever Jump up to dance Chorus: Because it takes two to tango Two compatible bodies and eager hearts Because it takes two to tango This is how the world is made There will finally come upon Buenos Aires A night as thick as ink And when the dawn breaks What has been in our hearts once Once like a sparkling diamond Will lose all of its shine And though they will play again God only knows We won't ever come together In this hall Chorus: Because it takes two to tango Two compatible bodies and eager hearts Because it takes two to tango This is how the world is made /x2 Chorus: Because it takes two to tango Two compatible bodies and eager hearts Because it takes two to tango This is how the world is made /x2
I have to admit that the English translation of this great Polish hit from years ago is very good. I hope the Chinese translation is also successful :) ua-cam.com/video/dA5BxXzd3Ac/v-deo.html
@@jhasminwokoro372 The author of the text is Andrzej Mogielnicki, a legend of Polish rock. He writes lyrics (he is 76 years old) for many artists. The guy has a light hand when it comes to writing hits. He wrote 'Such a tango' thinking it would be a hit. Interestingly, the singer singing that, did not like this song :) Only after many years did Cugowski change his mind, although he no longer sings this song during his solo concerts (he left Budka Suflera). I can suggest you a few songs by Mogielnicki when I get back from work :) ...
''All Saints' Ball'' = a popular song at the time. Lyrics: Mogielnicki. Vocal : Cugowski. Later I will translate it. ua-cam.com/video/V8Hz-JQtmfg/v-deo.html
Great singer
Pozdrawiam z Polski 🌹❤️🇵🇱
In a hall so big and shiny
Like nocturnal Buenos Aires
That doesn't want to sleep
The orchestra are tuning up their instruments
They give a sign and will soon begin
To play the new tango
We're sitting near, indifferent
To each other like tourists
Tapping out the rhythm
There will be no tango between us
Even if a miracle was to come true
Nothing can help us
Even though sharp notes are flowing
Blood is burning in the veins
None of us will ever
Jump up to dance
Chorus:
Because it takes two to tango
Two compatible bodies and eager hearts
Because it takes two to tango
This is how the world is made
There will finally come upon Buenos Aires
A night as thick as ink
And when the dawn breaks
What has been in our hearts once
Once like a sparkling diamond
Will lose all of its shine
And though they will play again
God only knows
We won't ever come together
In this hall
Chorus:
Because it takes two to tango
Two compatible bodies and eager hearts
Because it takes two to tango
This is how the world is made /x2
Chorus:
Because it takes two to tango
Two compatible bodies and eager hearts
Because it takes two to tango
This is how the world is made /x2
