Felicjan Andrzejczak (born May 16, 1948 in Pięczkowo, died September 18, 2024) - Polish singer and musician. In the years 1982-1983, he was the vocalist of the band Budka Suflera, with which he released the hits: "Jolka, Jolka
This is one of the most popular songs of the 80s in Poland. There were about a million people there. This was supposed to be the last concert of 'Budka Suflera'. The concert was unique. All the band's singers performed. The most famous vocalist was Krzysztof Cugowski. He and his sons appear at the end of the song. I'm sending the translation of the song lyrics Jolka, Jolka do you remember... Jolka, Jolka, do you remember that summer of dreams When you kept writing: “I feel so bad Come to me even right now, do something with me Don’t leave me here alone, oh no." Still begging for petrol, I raced through the night The engine groaned with the last of its strength To be in you again, to laugh and to swear Everything was so simple those days A child slept behind the wall, watchful as a bird May God sweeten his dreams! You told me that never, never before Have your tears been as sweet as blood In the morning I emigrated away from your arms The day drove me out, at night I returned once again The eclipse of the sun was destined for us The next one will happen, maybe in a hundred years The nuns walked along the beach, and the sun going down It kept falling, unable to fall Your husband out in the world saved up every pound For a Toyota, so beautiful, it's sad Your husband loved order and a full glass He once had a fiancée like a dream She betrayed him with a bus full of Arabs He was never himself again, oh no In the morning I emigrated away from your arms The day drove me out, at night I returned once again The eclipse of the sun was destined for us The next one will happen, maybe in a hundred years We lived in a big bathtub and so rarely We crawled out onto the dry land The Fairy Booze Godmother danced within us Shooting gallery* was two steps away I still don't know why it started like that Why it faded - no one knows either There are still many around me, I don't wake up alone But nothing is simple these days * Depending on the interpretation, in the sense of a place to buy illegal alcohol: 'shooting gallery', in the sense of a finish: 'the finish line'.
They say Progidy and Sabaton have played for 700,000 people at Woodstock Festival. Also 700,000 people came to see the legendary Scorpions live! In 2000, the RMF FM station celebrated its 10th anniversary. If sth more, I dont know. :-)
We invite you to the Pol'and'Rock Festival (formerly Polish Woodstock) in Czaplinek From August 1 to 3, music non-stop. Admission to all concerts and festival events is completely free. Come to Poland and experience these days together with several hundred thousand music fans Some information about that Festival: 1) Americans forced the Foundation who runs the Festival to change the name of the Festival from "Przystanek Woodstock" (Woodstock Stop) to "Pol'n'Rock Festival" 2) The Festival is run by the "Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy" (The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity) which every year runs a charity festival in the Winter across all of Poland, even the smallest villages and by now its our Polish national tradition to participate in it. This is what peak Civil Society looks like 3) Both festivals are run by volunteers (this includes the stewards, security, medics, pretty often artists too etc) 4) Its completely free. No reservations or tickets required. Of course you need to pay for your drinks and food tho 5) Its a multiday festival. In this particular 2014 edition 750 thousand people participated in the celebration of love without boundries (everyone is welcome, no matter what your religion, political background, nationality, gender or sexual preferences are, you are always welcome). 6) Its way more than just a music festival. There are educational and discussion panels with celebrities, politicians, artists, even Noble Prize winners like in the 2014 edition Muhammad Yunus from Bangladesh (Noble Peace Prize) had panel and 2 of our polish noblists - Lech Wałęsa (Noble Peace Prize winner) and Olga Tokarczuk (Noble Prize in literature) had their panels respectively in 2015 and 2019. You can also participate in plenty of workshops starting from art and ending in life saving. 7) Its not only Polish bands and artists. There are plenty very famous international bands that took part in the festival like Papa Roach, Metallica, The Prodigy, Die Toten Hosen, Machine Head, Sabaton, Damian Marley, Anthrax, Black Label Society, Shaggy, House of Pain and so on. Anyway. If you have the ability to travel to Europe coming to the Pol'a"Rock Festival is a really good idea. All you need (beside tickets for the flight, other transportation and food) is a tent (thats most peoples accommodation for the Festival and there are prepaired places for that on the Festival area).
In Poland, the Woodstok festival is held every year. Each year there are plenty of musical attractions performed by Polish and foreign artists. They fight, among others, for the Golden Top. For interesting performances, I recommend Agnieszka Chylińska, Justyna Steczkowska, Łydka Grubasa, rapper Grubson, and many other artists
Next year just take a tent and come. The festival is free and very inclusive. It's always on the 1st of August and lasts 3 days. The organisers say it's the most beautiful festival in the world. It's called Pol'and'Rock festival (formerly Polish Woodstock). The artists come from all over the world and play for free. There's everything there, including a Krishna Village that feeds people vegetarian food and a Lidl store in a huge tent. It's very safe, too. The worst thing that happened this year was someone had an accident on a scooter. ;)

Ciao amico italiano.

Italians are the best speaking polish foreigners. I don't know why. Maybe we've similar accent and letters reading ...
Polish is the most latin influenced slavic language.
Tekst piosenki to podstawa
Byłem tam pod sceną i też zdarłem gardło, każde uderzenia w struny wyrywało serce. Teraz to niestety pizda nie Woodstock.
Bo takich zespołów już niema
I like U. Subscribed. Listen 'Co mi Panie dasz' Adam Sztaba orkiestra, or Sanah & Igor Herbut 'Mamo tyś płakała' . And Czesław Niemen :)
Każdy zna ten utwór w Polsce, Krzysztof Cugowski to legenda i ma niepowtarzalny, oryginalny głos, a do tego teksty jego utworów są trochę poetyckie..
react to Agnieszka Chylińska woodstock concert

Hallo. Dzem- wehikul czasu
[*]
This is a song from 1982 - from the period of deep "communism"
How many? If my memory serves me right, around 800k people
Really? omg!
Moja pierwsza dziewczyna to była Jolka.
Później była Agnieszka, ale ona zdradzała mnie...
Przypadek? Nie sądzę...
Polecam TEKŚCIORY PL.
Szkoda ze tylko Polacy sa wstanie zrozumieć piękno tego tekstu. Ja mam ciarki.

Mother, I'm writing the poem to You,
Maybe the last one, but I'm sure it's the first
It is a deep, dark night
I'm sitting in my bed and she's sleeping by my side
And she is breathing so steadily
I'm hearing some music
No, it is only in my head
I'm sitting, I'm drowning and I'm drowning in tears
'Cause I'm so sad, 'cause I'm alone
The fear is choking me
Solitude is such a dreadful fear
It's seizing me , it's piercing me
You know, mother, I imagined
That there is no God, no God, no
Only my home is calm now
Where you are , but I'm not
Where I won't ever come back, I think
Mother, I love You so much, I love You
I thought that You had hurt me
But it was me that hurt You
It's too bad that I understood it so late
So late, I understood it so late
Solitude is such a dreadful fear
It's seizing me , it's piercing me
You know, mother, I imagined
That there is no God, no God, no
Solitude is such a dreadful fear
It's seizing me , it's piercing me
You know, mother, I imagined
That there is no God, no God, no
The singer died recently. You don't even know what a loss it is.
