Hey everyone, today's video is on the new Netflix TV Show Tires that was created by John McKeever, Shane Gillis, and Steve Gerben. The show has been on a lot of people's radar and a lot of people have found it to be quite funny and entertaining. Some journalists have compared the show to Seinfeld which is absolutely spectacular, and some others have called it an anti-work assault on comedy. However, most people have responded very warmly which is super great for the Young Bull Shane Gillis and his partner in crime Matt McCusker. It would seem the dawgs are eating good, and a lot of people are looking forward to the second season and Shane's second Netflix comedy special which is set to be released sometime this year. Anyway, If you enjoyed this comedy lore enough please like the video, subscribe to the channel, turn on post notifications, and share this with someone you think would enjoy it. Thanks for watching, I love you guys.

grats on the bag homie
Not gonna lie I didn't think the pilot would ever turn into a show, also didn't think it would be something I'd like. I like Shane and his humor, I just didnt think the concept of the show would be that funny. Boy was I wrong, this show is hysterical and I've been laughing my ass off at these episodes. Great video - hope Shane sees this
That would be cool if he saw it
You can do anything you want in Thailand...
seth simons’s entire identity is crying and shitting his pants whenever shane gets a W
Imagine living that life lol
In a world of sex pest Seth’s, be a bro dawg Shane.
Looks like he doesnt own a doghouse...hahaha..nice
Thanks brother
Professor of Logic
Love how he funded his enTIRE show
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Doghouse huh. Lol. I understand your logic with that one.
Seth Simons and his bf definitely don’t own a doghouse
@@TheComedyHistorian oh how much funnier the world would be if Norm was still here.
STAVROS has acting pork chops indeed haha
Some damn good pork chops at that!
I've watched all 6 episodes 4 to 5 times. Freakin Brilliant.
BTW, calling the girls "Dumpster Mermaids" was Hilarious.
I love that Gerbies is getting some attention and screen time. To me, he stole the show and is the heart of the show.
Yeah my one regret is not spending more time talking about his performance. He killed it as a neurotic manager trying to run a business. Great work from Gerby
Shane definitely making the argument for talent of a person over believing everything you hear about someone.
Absolutely
Nate, since you're also a comic. The ad read for Hello Fresh was a banger. "if you'd also like to cheat on your wife...buy Hello, Fresh!"
Loved it.
I can feel Norm's DNA in that joke and it's beautiful. I'm actually gonna go back and listen to the ad again
Dude that’s great, I’m glad you loved it. I really wanted to have fun with it and HelloFresh was a great sport about me doing a joke for the ad read haha. If you really like it - cheat on your wife and buy the product 🤣😂🤣
Tires is one of the funniest and most relatable working class comedies I've seen. Having worked in warehouses for various hardware companies, the conversations I've had with those types of slacker coworkers are faithful to the characters on the show. It'll be great to see Shane develop his writing chops as the show progresses. As great a stand-up comedian Shane is, he's truly underappreciated as a writer overall.
Heck yeah Victor I’m glad you enjoyed it. I found myself really liking it too even though I haven’t worked in a hardware store - I think season two is gonna be even better. Cheers 🥂
Right? It’s pretty damned realistic. Honestly felt like the better moments of being on the clock at a dead end job. Lmao
I binge watched the whole thing haha
Me too! I binges it two times in a row, I love it abs cabr wait for the next season!
WE WANT SIX SEASONS AND A MOVIE!!!
Hello Fresh! I told you the live reads were coming to you. Congrats! Shane Gillis. Int the words of Louis, "yes, more of that."
Thanks Todd! Glad you loved the video
I really enjoyed your take. You’re really funny yourself dude. You just got a new subscriber.
Thanks a lot my brother 🙏 I’m glad you’re enjoying it I’m trying my best
I listen to matt and shane every week and I had no idea that was matt
Loved this show! As a life long auto mechanic and huge Shane fan, I thought they really did their best trying to get the mentality of low brow auto shop lol nailed it!
Lmao I’m glad you loved it so much. My friend who used to work at an auto mechanic shop was laughing super hard and at some points I didn’t even understand why. He lived that life haha
@@TheComedyHistorian that shop is pretty much how every mechanic gets started lol it sucks until you graduate to bigger and better things.
I love how the central plot thread of the season is the idea "we'll take a loss up front, but we're pretty sure this business decision will draw in a lot of customers"
Almost like the show itself was a business pitch to Netflix!
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
the faces of these actors are so utterly believable in this fictional context
lol true
What happened to the og pilot? I cant find it anywhere on UA-cam
I think it might be archive on Reddit because I couldn’t find it either
Netflix released Tires, that’s it. They had nothing to do w/ the show or its production. Also Mckeever wrote and directed. Shane helped
I gotta watch it. Pretty dope from what I've heard. 👍
I enjoyed it, hopefully you do too
The doghouse joke..
Thanks, Nate
Thank you Floyd
3:04, you are a professor of logic.
I gotta be honest. I thought it was underwhelming.
I loved the original pilot.
The series IDK... Didn't feel the same for some reason.
And either way, it's not as funny as Gilly and Keeves anyway.
It is a lot harder to be as funny as a bunch of unconnected sketches with a plot driven episodic program. I haven’t checked it out yet, but I’m excited.
I understand what you mean Man. I thought it was good, but it certainly isn’t Seinfeld. Maybe the next season will be better than this one 🤷🏻♂️
I loved it. Best comedy series in years. Easy
I enjoyed it too, glad you thought so
I watched all of it twice, just out of boredom. It's kind of a weird show. Idk im not a critic. It is funny.
Right, I thought it was pretty funny too
It was ok. We all like Shane but let's be real, it was OK. But has enough that maybe a parks and rec style light season 2/3 makeover could make it really good.
I thought it was pretty good, but season 2 has the potential to be much much funnier
lol a big ass add like that in an 8 min vid bro
Haven’t seen it yet, but I for sure will to forge my own opinion.
Let me know what you think when you see it
in the valley?
This was a breath of wonderfully grimy air.
As a tire shop should be!
@@TheComedyHistorian exactly!
The show was actually funny
I know. Shane’s really funny, which makes sense why SNL didn’t want him
Im a trie $1 dawg. I thought it was really good but the writing could have been better. Surprisingly Schultz was phenomenal. I love Stavros and thought his character started off great but his last few appearances were just kind of boring with no real comedy even attempted
Totally fair. I felt like the writing was lackluster in some parts but I do agree Schulz and Tommy Pope were solid. I think season two will be even better though
@TheComedyHistorian yeah and on a recent stuff island Chris and Tommy kind of said this was more of a building the foundation type season and they really hope to lean into the characters more. Everyone likes to hate on Schultz (myself included sometimes) but him and Tommy as a pair was absolutely magic. I just really hope they write some good stuff for Stavros. He's perfect for that part and genuinely hilarious I just thought he didn't get to do much comedy especially towards the end.
@TheComedyHistorian and don't get me started in Matt. All the Dawgs love Matt from the pod because he seems like such a genuinely good dude but his comedy and acting is underrated. In the compliance sketch of gilly and keeves season 2 he was amazing. His brief appearance was actually really funny and most people didn't recognize him. He HAS to become somewhat of a regular around the shop.
Just this morning I was listening to my local rock station the bear and their DJs Jason Lee and kluck we're talking mad crap about the show but they are a couple of old school butt rockers they try to play modern rock but are so out of touch they prefer ACDC over a lot of new bands out now I think they should be running an oldies station they are so out of touch and left-leaning it's ridiculous it's gotten to the point where I can't even enjoy their show anymore
I boycott dual citizens opinions.
It’s not even Shane Gillis show tf
I don't get the hype. Shayne is hilarious but the show is a very middle of the road comedy that took 0 risks it was ok at best and ok at worst. It was ok
I like Shane but thought the show was terrible
Fjfjjffj
The UK Office was poorly ripped off by The US Office...and now Tire's is a poor ripoff of The US Office.
