- I pick up this nice amplifier with a subwoofer for $40.00 i took it a part to teach my self how to wire and also help you in your proyect.
Pin 1 from left lower section is (White and red ) is your command cable (+) positive
Pin 2 Black (-) ground
Pin 3 Black (-) Ground
Pin 4 Red empty
Pin 5 Red direct to battery (+) positive
Pin 6 Red Direct to battery (+) positive
Pin 7 Whithe and Black (+) audio input from stereo or any player divice
Pin 7 Gray and black (-) audio input only stereo source.
Pin 8 Empty
pin 9 empty
pin 10 empty

so i've taken my mach sub/amp out of my ford escape. now in my Sierra, I've ran the constant and remote together too the ignition Fuse. ground to chasi. leaving the last two - and + which i've linked each to the back door - and +. IT WORKS!! however......it is way too loud. at just like vol. 1 or 3 its LOUD. the door speakers still work but can't really distignuish them anymore since the Mach is soooo loud. lost on what to do sides buy and amp and box......trying avoid since it fits underneath my seat as is. Thanks
Thanks about to wire up factory subwoofer to my aftermarket head unit on a Explorer that did not come with factory sub. Using your technique I can learn how to power on the amplifier and test before I figure out how to wire things up.
I have an 04 Crown Vic LX Sport and am using a Mach amp, a Bose speaker, and a Mercury Marauder enclosure. This video is just what I was looking for so I can make the adapter harness to go from the factory 6-pin/5-wire body connector to the amp! Thanks!!

Thanks for the upload. Glad i seen this on here amd it's still up after 7 years. I still need to check to see of mine is useing the same color code wires. I did read all the comments and it is sad that people were just commenting and really didnt even know what you were doing, cause I understood it completely. I was wondering how i could test my amp to see of it is bad or if it is just a bad wire somewhere in the truck. Now I have to just test and go from there. Thanks for the color code explained also. Keep up the great work.

I bought 4 mach 1000 amps for the15 dollars at a yard sale and just wired them just like you did and they work so thanks.... And too the ones said he hooked them up wrong he has the out put and the input right b.c I just hooked up to 4 of them just like that

@pinksock1977 Don't need the stereo harness, you need the harness of the amplifier.

Can you think of a reason as to why the amps would be causing a power drain when off. About 120 milliamps on one and 180 on the other
Hello and thank you. I just picked up one from the salvage yard. I was talking to someone that told me it matters if it is the high side oth the radio or the low. I was going to make an RCA connection and go from there what are your thoughts?
Its hooked up just replacing the the factory. All the wires are the same at the amps.
If I want to connect them I need adapters for that mach system
You rule! Any sugestion my mustang 02 not have the principal amp of the stock audio sistem, I wil try to conect the back amps like this, this could work?

Hey buddy.... Hoping you could help me out, I'm thinking of buying a nakamichi na 1600 touch screen double dinn head unit for my 02 ford escape that has a Mach stereo system in there, that's 6 speakers with 6 Co changer head unit and 1 amp powered subwoofer. At the back of the Mach head unit there are 2 harnesses that plug into the back, the main large one for the power and speakers and another smaller one that I believe is for the amp. How would I wire up the new head unit to work with all speakers and subwoofer?
hi i have a 97 mustang with mach 460.it had a aftermarket radio when i bought it and apparently all factory wiring was cut.i bought new harness but the harness under the rear seat on passenger side was cut.Colors of the wires are black and green.Im trying to figure out how to connect them.When i put the volume high it fades away back and forward.Im assuming its because of the wiring that i cant figure out.

You have it backwards The large plug has outputs and the small plug is input. There are three power and three ground wires.
my wires are cut in NY 03 mustang with the mach 460 in it idk where to get the wires
i bought the whole box at a yard sale but the wires are green n black and pink with stripes. the amp the amp has to be extreamly low power , i mean look at the wires really my 600 watt cossfire uses 8gauge for speaker wires

hi Paul I HAVE A SET FROM A STANG I BUILT .. CAN I WIRE THIS JUST LIKE REGULAR AMPS AN SPEAKERS INTO MY PETE....IF SO DO I WIRE IT JUST LIKE YOU EXPLAIND HERE

If you using the same amplifier the one in the back connector,
Any amplifier NOTE input will have RCA connector feed back from stereo and to Amplify to the speaker will be lock connector or like gator style because uses a thicker cable. Add my on FB pcabrera@segnow.com search me with this Email.
@Paul Cabrera how many watts is this unit? I have the markings of the chips but still can't figure out how is it wired and how many watts RMS is it after all

I have a 98 Ford expedition Eddie Bauer edition and it has a subwoofer but it's not connected to my after market radio it has two yellow an a red coming out one end and three skinny wires on the other side red and green, a green and black and blue and black I think need help on witch one is sound and witch is power to make it work can anyone help please

hi im trying to connect the same mach amp as u show in your video but mine has different colors. 1black/greenline 2 ,3 black with green line 4,5,6 violet with light blue line
7black with green line 8, black with white line 9,10 nothing my plug from left bottom 1-6. top left 7,8,9,10
