Asylum had the most basic combat system of the series, but the sound effects were always the most satisfying to me. The goons were also by far the most punchable in this game, it always felt so damn good to bust their asses.

I always thought it was cool that Zsasz fights you in the fourth round of Shock and Awe and Rumble in the Jungle.
Same here. I actually replay those maps so I can pick him up and throw him into the depths of hell, or another inmate, I for some reason always found it really satisfying to chuck him around.
On the return to arkham version at least he’s in intensive treatment as well

I don't like comparing myself to other players. No one is better than anyone else. With practice, any player can achieve their goals.
After watching this video I literally nailed 3 challenges in a row... only missing shock and awe extreme for the platinum!

Seeing all the combat challenges done with a score at least 10k+ higher than the required score for all 3 stars was a real treat. Just shows how adding a batclaw or 2 and a simple batarang can up your score 10 fold.

I’m having problems at 43:42 at the part where you put explosive gel on 3 walls because one of the 2 walls is actually one wall in my game. (I play on the Xbox one so that might be the problem.)

@@Shak2k11 still kind of amazing to me as I never thought of using Batman stuff to crate combos, but I think he did it just to show how to get the score, using combo variations like the ground pound as they are the thing that gives the most of his score

OmegaBlackHeart there’s a glitch where you can get unlimited points from kicking a titan thug. You’ll have to look it up.
@@edviza1935 sorry I didn't see this sooner and yes I have seen that but I wouldn't use a glitch like that. All I really want with that particular challenge is to just get a perfect run on it since that map is incredibly difficult.

Hello, I need your advice on predator challenges just at minute 42:30 you blow up the explosive gel, but I see you use it 2 times before it explodes, my question is; ¿How do you manage to exploit each of them individually?
Pandriu 2017 Hey there. The first explosive gel was automatically detonated because a henchman walked over it. That is actually an upgrade.
Wait how do you unlock that armored suit- and is it hair for challenge maps or for story mode two? Also how are you so damn good at these games!?

How do I get grab and throw goon on my gamepad? Its supposed to be combo of X and A but it never works on will for me. How to throw goon from railing while hanging in Library? Last how do you jump crash through breakable roof glass?
How do you do that quick batarang without aiming? in 1:40:20, how did it hit the big ones in the back rather than the small ones?
What's the best tactic for dealing with the guys who throw the monitors at you in the 3rd and 4th part of Joker Challenge room 1 in Arkham Asylum? I've just been trying to hone in on them as soon as the game starts, but it's a lot easier said than done and more often than not I break my combo trying to get there. Once the object's thrown, you can't actually counter it can you?

Oh I figured it out now to make a combo knock down or throw when achieving 5 combos the number glowing yellow with sparks then that's mean if you clicked shift + left or right click will do it....anyway This hard with shift , so I assigned one key for each one for easy cast.

Edit: just learned how combos actually work, made this look manageable.
Edit2: it took several days but I finally cleared all of them

@@jimbo5107 to each their own man, I found rumble in the jungle extreme to be easy, sewer bat extreme was my last map before completing them all so you know I screwed that up. How'd you do on Shock And Awe Extreme?

How do you get the guys to follow you on invisible predator?
The Flawless FreeFlow combo is the most difficult one to achieve in the combat challenges. It is easy to break the combo due to:
A. Getting Hit if you fail to counter or dodge the attack.
B. Missing a punch by either not reaching someone or hitting the wrong button for the wrong move.
C. The time limit for the combo chain in this game is very short which means you have to be fast at hitting someone.
Combine that with trying to use Gadgets for the Variation Bonuses and you got the most frustrating thing to do in order to reach 1800 points.
What do you mean 1800 points? You can use them pretty much any time, just as long as your combo count includes every move iirc. The biggest problem I had with it was switching to my gadget when performing the special takedown. You can cheese alot of them quite easily with the batclaw pull start & spamming batarangs, though. Literally keeps most of the knife & electric baton wielding enemies as a non-threat most of the time.
Man, I never thought of using the batclaw or the batarang into the combos, your video makes me look dumb playing this game

I would say Arkham Batman is one of the strongest versions of Batman.

I absolutely despise the combat challenge maps 🙃 if not for anything but the fact the game frequently doesn't register when you press the counter button. Can't count the amount of times I've been hit despite pressing it in time

I don't know why people are complaining about the graphics of RTA, i think everything about the remaster is good! (But the characters are the only bad thing. They look like dolls. And the unlocked FPS is brutal)

Why is the armor batsuit variant is only for combat, while the default batsuit is for predator sections?
How many people actually like Return to Arkham? And what are you thoughts on it?
Literally every time i try to use my batclaw my weapon has either switched back to the batarang for no reason or my batclaw shoots the ground infront of my feet and kills my combo.
