I completely agree. GTA V just has a vibe that not many other games can achieve, and I like that. I like that this game, despite being 10 years old, could easily be passed off as only releasing yesterday or so. And the vibes that come with it, are unreal, and I love it.
First discovered this last year during a time where I felt alone and separated from everything. Fast forward to now, I listen to this song to reflect on my mistakes and process my life. It comforts me.
same bro, for some reason this melody provokes so much self reflection! im listening to this for half a year now while working, also thinking about missed opportunities and mistakes, wishing i could go back to couple years ago. But i know that imma turn it around very soon. A quote that helps me is " imagine you are in 2027 and wishing for 2024... so start taking action now".
I always seem to go through my religiously GTA playing phase in the most happy and stress free moments in my life. From when I first got the game in September 2017 - early 2018, to the summer of 2019, to lockdown 2020 through to Christmas that same year. It’s always when I’m so content and anxiety free, and I feel like it’s no coincidence that these always happened simultaneously. It’s crazy Ik, a game about heists crime and modern day problems in society is pretty much a therapy tool for me. But I’ve always loved this game, I see other sides to it than the stereotypical ones. The detailed open world with great environmental detail & beauty, the sense of freedom in the open world, playing fun custom created jobs with my friends hours upon end; to which we create unforgettable memories which we can’t stop laughing to. Such a gem of a game and the atmosphere is weirdly zen to me somehow :)
This Reminds me of early Pandemic mood. Cold nights of spring 2020. Fear, loneliness, self-reflection and uncertainty. It felt like the time has either stopped or slowed, like this track is slowed. I feel a big part of me is still there...
Since last year when your dropped this I've been listening to it every night to play chess , read or sleep and I'm just so glad you did a longer version thabk you mate
The music certainly does carry on with time. 10 years and this is just pure nostalgia, the definition of itself. However, it is also quite saddening that the world is in the condition it is today. Compared to then. Things will only get worse, as those who control want us enslaved. We only have a year or two to make it, before the door to freedom is closed permanently. Get out whilst you can lads. Let the music power you. Let it ignite that past peace and love you feel when listening to this. Let it power your actions into bettering a better life.
