In the online multiplayer mode, up to eight players engage in cooperative and competitive gameplay. The Last of Us Part II is an action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4. Our life’s should have their unique soundtrack playing in our heads 😎 that would have been amazing.. am gonna take up on this one to face my life adversities in this world.. 💪🏼
@@danielaviegas9004 we should have an intro song when we do our morning routine
"everyone i cared for has either died,or left me. "
"you have no idea what loss is. "
i miss you joel, ellie. 😔
Joel had a right to say that. He lost the one thing left of his life back in Texas, and didn't get a warning about the infection. When you lose something you worked so much of your life to protect, and see it be killed or destroyed within seconds, it breaks something inside of you. It makes you snap. If only that military soldier had disobeyed orders, maybe things would have turned out differently. Ellie had to grow up in this world, without knowing what normal life was. Always fending for her life with a gun in hand. Covered in dirt, blood, anything.
@@DabisDinerDelivery I don’t think he was just talking about his daughter
@@DabisDinerDelivery Yes, it makes sense for Joel to say that. He has lost his daughter, his past life, his humanity, among many other things. But, still, that line gives me "I'm the adult, I know better"-vibes. He didn't know Ellie had lost people too.
“ Everyone I have cared for has either died or left me..everyone f**king except for you. So don’t tell me that I would be safer with someone else because the truth is I would just be more scared”
This line is engraved in my brain and I say it on the daily…

Imagine an apocalypse like the last of us, without the infected or the civil conflict. Just humanity fading away, nature slowly taking back what we claimed as ours. Skyscrapers covered in leaves and moss, animals walking on the streets and nesting in old ruins.

There's something calm about this. That dark cloudy sky, those haunted-looking buildings, and the overgrowth, that rain + lightning combined with Gustavo's music. Ah, I love it.
Maybe feeling that everything is over... everything bad that has human ever done is long gone. Nothing left just peace.
Listening to this music and thinking about the present is depressing.
im afraid of what can happen, this is worse than i could imagine, and it'll get worse than what im picturing now. In my head, it'd be cool to see everything covered on green. Pianos abandoned to play whenever i want. But it'd be hell depressing. Everything you know being destroyed, forced to live on danger and hunger. A horrible feeling of dread dawns on you like the rising sun as you walk under the slanted building. You flinch as the thunder cackles. You look back up and feel as if the building just moved closer to the ground. You start to walk quicker than you originally were, you remember how glorious this city used to be. The cars that would go on this once busy road were now abandoned. If you checked inside of them you could find objects left behind by the owners. You had never seen the road this silent before. You look back up at the slanted building above the road. Imagine how many people worked there. You continue walking for a few minutes until you stop to just stare at the city around you. On a rainy day like this you would be snuggled up on the couch watching TV if this whole thing had never even happened. The lightning strikes on a tree near one of the trees on the sidewalk. The tree lights up in a glowing mess. You like to imagine that this is the start of the road where lost spirits can get to the true afterlife. Lost spirits who never deserved such a horrid and gruesome fate as such becoming a zombie. This lit up tree could be sign from god himself saying "I'm going to save you, dont worry." The lightning strikes once more on a tree a few miles away in the direction to the exit of the city. You look away from the tree and to the road you are following. The lightning and lit up trees could be an encouragement. That I will get out of this hellhole. No matter how long it takes, I will get out. Whether that means I'll get out in spirit form or physical form is all up to you, God cant help with that.
You continue on the road to the exit of city. You follow the lightning. Of course you are oblivious to the fact you are moving in the direction of the exit to the city, all you can do is hope and wish that you will get out alive
This has way too little love for how well written it is

If you think, at some point the earth will really look like this... creepy thought...
Sadly true
I see a certain beauty in it, like how the cities we took ages to build only to be taken back by nature in merely two centurys
I believe that the world would be less chaotic than it is today.
Well, the fact is, the cities definitely WILL look like this. Read how the world and the Sun will come to an end, according to research and predictions of NASA. Oh, and Metro: Exodus sets the environment pretty much similar to what will happen in case of a big nuclear war or natural disasters.
It gon be better

Is it sick to wish for a world like this? To be honest, not a lot of people would survive, we're too dependent on technology. But still... What would it be like?
Honestly I'm thinking about this too much sometimes xd. I myself was thinking that it might be even better to live in a world like this in some aspects. Or at least for people like me who don't really like to be around a lot of people. Someone may call us crazy, but I wouldn't mind too much living in this world. Imagine the "peacefulness" while you are standing at the edge of the forest, watching the nature as it takes over the buildings while listening to this.
@@simonnovak9161 it would be truly amazing to see nature take over its destroyers. it is always been and always will be more powerful than humanity.
Yeah seriously. No game has ever made me think like this aswell...
it would be cool the world like that but not the disease.. If you like a world where billions were killed and put into endless suffering and pain (you're not dead when infected, you can still feel it all but can't control it) you're legit a psychopath
@@enxgma8085 no I don't wish for a disease like that. I was just thinking what if we did have something to wipe out 60% of the humanity and watch nature rule over the world, growing on cities and such. Creating bandits and cannibals, military bases, smuglers etc.
And btw only runners have their consciousness, after developing into a stalker, they've officially lost control and they have no humanity left. Sorry if that sounded bitchy to correct.
But you're right I do sound like a psycho, wishing for something like that.
This game will remain a legend forever...
played this game for the first time during lockdown, and i was blown away. finished the whole thing in a couple days, while taking my time to explore every little room. this is easily one of my top 3 favorite games
why i’m so sad when i listen these musics, tlou is forever my favourite game, it makes me so emotional..🥺🥺
This scene is one of the most atmospheric I've ever experienced in a game. And I played since more than 30 years.
Can't explain why, but I've always felt comforted, safe and oddly protected whenever I hear thunder and lightning. Could care less for the rain, but the roaring, cracking belts of thunder and the sparks of lightning are just so comforting.
i always look off into the distance to find this building, and when i do, i remember struggling for a long time, clueless as of what im supposed to do to escape the clicker on that lonely floor.
I am the only one who would like to live in a post-apocalyptic world in which people fight to survive and nature recovers what belongs to it, and the last of us is the exemplar of that world and of course without many people there is no pollution like displayed in quarantine
I think i’d prefer the nature taking over the citys we‘ve built
It's an interesting idea, and while it might teach you a lot, the hardships you'd have to face would truely test you, and your limits. Could YOU really hack it in this world? I dunno if anyone could.
After not playing the game for almost 5 years when I finished the first time, I decided to play it again and finished the game yesterday... still has the same empty feeling like the first time. Best game I've played in my life.
This gives me goosebumps
Listening to this gives me a ''different'' type of feeling...i look around the world and see how shattered and depressing it is...once i sat in my room watching the rain and all of a sudden i grabbed my pen and notebook and started writing. I started writing a story of a 16 year old girl who tried to survive the dead and broken world. Losing friends, watching her family suffer...And leaving everything behind to survive...I still write my book to this day. I am 17 years old now and as i grow, the girl in my book comes with me...

Seeing this game again for the first time would make me cry
There are times when I grow tired of the complexity of the current world we live in. This game was so real and beautiful to me, I feel as though it is an alternate universe for me to visit as an escape. I imagine riding my horse through this once bustling city, thinking of all of the memories and emotion that once existed here, now replaced by the silence and beauty of nature. This game is an escape. An alternate universe that is much more simple and raw. It forces humanity into a more primitive state. Its interesting to acknowledge how most others only veiw it as a game. They have no idea the weight it holds over you, the emotional comfort and escape it brings. You wish those who dont have the capability to absorb the aura of emotion the game brings could wake up and experience it with you.
Couldn't agree more with this comment. You summarized my feelings for games like The Last of Us perfectly.
Imagine walking through these riots as you are listening to this kind of music and as time passes by every step you take the more further we get into 2020 and all of a sudden turns into a TLoF where nature takes over and buildings are tilted and the streets are covered in grass and loneliness
I stay tune at this montage for 1 hour and realize world has changed into the city like this...

listening to the song "the last of us" makes me feel like i'm in a zombie apocalypse in a tree in the middle of the whole city playing that song with a guitar in my hands and with rain falling your post is quite good
We walk out to see the world overgrown, animals own the streets,.
Not just Biological animals but looters and raiders people think life isn't the same and it isn't.
Captivity has turned us insane.
the law has no control, we become the world of anarchy.
i walked out of my room after a year..i entered my locked room in march 2020 when exams got cancelled, and came out directly in 2021, a change of a year just enjoying my own company and being lost in my mind and soul. i used to peek out of window and glanced upon the changes in nature, how she blossomed, smiled, and got a chance to breath. i was hoping to enjoy the fairy tale land with nature as a friend, happy to have the new humans in company who cared for her, but i saw that we humans never change. the happiness on the face of nature started to fade away in the grey fog of smoke too soon then anticipated. i'm sorry blue skies and green grass, sorry nature to disappoint u, we failed to gain your trusts one last time, we came back with the disgust that we had before but with more speed. pardon us, as one day, i will work to be your frined, one day we will enjoy the blue sky and green grass together, with a bird laughing again without interference :)

@Max it depends...
If Ellie could choose, she would prefer die(she has already lost everyone, except Joel). But Joel wasn't able to afford another loss in his life (even more after Ellie became his everything)
If I were Joel, I would do the same thing he did. But I can understand Ellie's side too
Its pretty hard to imagine a world like this in real. It will be uncertain that who will survive amongst our loved ones and as if we were lucky enough to find that out. Just too sad if that would be the reality.
This soundtrack is perfect, pure art. The more I hear it the more I love it, and I always notice new particular sounds in it, which make it wonderful. I think that among the best things about The Last Of Us are ABSOLUTELY its soundtracks, produced by the genius of Gustavo Santaolalla. Now I was studying with this background music, and besides being relaxing, it is very moving at the same time.
I get sad whenever I hear this soundtrack, it reminds of all the times Joel and Ellie spent together, laughing, enjoying life.
dude idk why but I ALWAYS get goosebumps while listening to this. pure masterpiece.
Most houses in my neighborhood are either abandoned or unowned for almost 2 decades. Nature took over these houses, making them look exactly like any buildings in LoU. So of course, I have no other choice but to listen to this every time I walk my dogs lol
Can’t sleep anymore without this, so much peace
man this games soundtrack makes me deep life and jus want to cry from the experience the last of us has brought as a whole 🥺💜
This soundtracks are so comfortable, It makes me wanna cry, because it reminds me of Joel...
Really Miss Joel 💐
Or play with Tommy in the Part III? (Tommy was just a Bad ass Character in the Part II killing most of the Wolfs of it's own 🤘)
He don't quit his payback against Abby!🔥
It Will be cool play with Tommy this Time!!
SHARE WHAT YOU SAY ... THAT WOULD BE GREAT. BUT WITH THIS SICK NEIL DRUCKMANN WE CANNOT KNOW ANYTHING UNTIL THE GAME IS MADE. AND WHO TELLS YOU THAT IN PART 3 THERE IS A TRANS CHARACTER. AND KILL TOMMY. BUT I SEE IT DOWN THAT THIRD PART. THE LAST OF US IS DEAD. ANOTHER THING. ABBY THE MOST HATE CHARACTER IN THE HISTORY OF VIDEO GAMES.
@@kenryu4157 you're Right buddy, or who tells you the NEXT Game is a precuel of the second with a more young Joel 💐!?
Will be Cool too! 🤘
You're Right what you say buddy, UNTIL THE GAME IS MADE......
🤔
@@JonathanCandiaofficial and it would be better not to show joel. They already fooled us and used the image to sell the game from the start.
@Peter 👍
Until the Game is made, we Will never Know 😢
Maybe on a DLC
“Everyone I have cared for has either died or left me. Everyone - fucking except for you!” This line man, I have to pause the damn game every single time I reach that point. I predicted it would get a tv show when I played the first one. The story begged to be made into a tv show. I cant wait for season 2.
3 years... 2 years since i found this song.... Nostalgic.... this song remember me about the Quarantine days... playing all day long and remember me about a person... who i liked but this person never liked me... sad times.
“Everyone I’ve ever cared for has either died or left me!” Everyone fucking except for you! Don’t tell me I’d be better with someone else, because the truth is I’d be more scared!”
When i listen this song, i feel the night. Dark night...
After 3 years, I still feel like a dark night... Some things never change.
im going insane with this game. this is another level, another universe im fond of about the last of us. it's good, very very good i don't know what should i say but i wanted to everyone know that this game is goergous. 3:42
First played this on PlayStation 3 rented it from redbox and immediately went out and bought it after. One of the best if not best story games i ever played. Thank you for such a beautiful experience 💯
walking dead and these walking dead type of games have best soundtracks
I can't relax hearing this, I literally cry every time, mostly after seeing what the hack happens in part 2, remembering the old days when the tlou series was not ruined in my eyes, I'm gonna pretend that nothing happened, that Joel and Ellie reunited after she discovered the truth and that they lived happily for the rest of their days.
@sudha bhatt No didn't like it but it's my opinion of course, I'm happy a lot of people could enjoy it, I would have wanted too but I just can't, even if I try hard tho.
@sudha bhatt honestly I think that the major part of the people are like me, it's just that the ones you mentioned are more loud from both sides, I disgust who call names from both sides(I have been labeled a lot of times just for expressing an opinion) and I disgust who sends death treats to people who have nothing to do with a fucking fictional character, but luckily this people are in the minority, trust me they are just more loud then the others(at least if you have to send death treats send it to Abby in person, if she doesn't kill you before lol, just joking)
You guys complain that just like in real life, your actions has consequences to others.
I had my girlfriend of 2 years play the game for the first time with no context, and it made me really connect with her and watching her play the game made me feel like I was playing for the first time again
i dont think anyone understand when i say i would give absolutely ANYTHING to be able to play this game for the first time again. I love it sm and it will forever have a genuine place in my heart
This game series is one of the best ever. The kind you think about even after playing.
Nunca me esqueço da sensação que tive quando escutei está música pela primeira vez. Boas memórias.
I have never even played The Last of Us, but this music is literally giving me chills. It's that good.
You should play TLOU man
what are you waitting for?
I love studying with this sound.
fresh soundtrack, i hope the second game has one just as good or else better
it has the same musical producer of the first. Definitely it's gonna be such an awesome sound track
its not as good, but imma be first to say.. Ellie has an amazing singing voice
This soundtrack with the rain reminds me of this good old fps game from 2009. Some might have never heard of it, but that is when the good old days of gaming were. I am glad that TLoU was a part of that age too.
Which game
I remember listening to this song over and over on a loop while working overtime at the office, it really helped me stay focused. It made those hours more enjoyable. Still does it tho.
I wish we lived in a post-apocalyptic world. Nothing but beauty.
Yeah same
Until you hear a clicking noise
Until a bloater rips your jaw in half
To live post apocalypse first you need to survive and the rest to die. Most chances are that we die too. Not a good wish for the majority ^^U
@@michel5728 honestly it’s sad but you have higher chances of surviving on your own
tlou is really one of the best games ever created. the storyline is so good it made me cry in multiple parts of the game which is very hard to make me cry. i wish i could play it for the first time again.
This amazing video
90% guitar
10% rain
i have no words to describe how much i love this game and this soundtrack
The Last of Us came into my life in a time where i rarely played games for myself, usually going to youtube cuz i couldn't afford them. But one christmas i got a ps4, and with it came The Last of Us Remastered. I'd only heard of it once before when my cousin was talking about it, and i was hella into zombie type shit so i decided to play it. God, am I glad i played this game for myself, because it destroyed me like no other game has. Going from location to location with Ellie and watching their story just took over my life for the few days it took for me to beat it. I did the whole winter chapter in one sitting, and the whole time i was so on edge i barely breathed, and it all came out when Ellie finally killed David, and i fucking sobbed. The whole moment was just full of relief and the feeling of love between Joel and Ellie killed me. I had to take a break after that because going on would've been too much. And the end of the game? I felt every bit of rage and contempt that it took to commit war crimes for that girl, and i felt just about as much remorse as Joel did. This is my favorite game of all time, I'll never stop loving it
