History of the US Military Survival School, Presented by Tom Lutyens

This presentation was given in 2014 at Karamat's Rat Root Rendezvous by Tom Lutyens who was a Survival Instructor with the US Military Survival School. It includes Chip Lake, Alberta as one of the sites of the Survival School and is close to Karamat's area.

The rescues of air crews in Greenland 1942-1943 showed the need for survival training and also laid the groundwork for inter-service cooperation.
