Can you dye the bowl once it is made? I saw really vibrant, saturated color rope bowls at a fiber show that had perfectly matched thread. If you made the bowl using cotton thread would that work?

Great color! Do you use normal salt or rock salt.

I actually used kosher salt....worked great!
