But remember, most of those homes are already over 100 years old. Up to modern specs, not by a long shot, but at one time these were solid homes. The junk ones were gone 50 years ago. You don.t maintain it and even good goes away.
You pull up these neighborhoods that have the MOST crime, the MOST drugs, and the MOST poverty. Let me tell you one of the things they have the LEAST of, though, that is people out WORKING a job. People make their own choices in life, and a lot of people who live in these areas choose to sell drugs and commit crimes for that QUICK, EASY MONEY!! Nobody ever wants to talk about the truth, though. Go to these areas and actually try and find people who work every day for a living in legitimate jobs, and you might find 2 in every 10 people. This video is showing our worst side on purpose.... there's massive sections of Louisville, even poor neighborhoods, that are beautifully kept by proud residents. Don't judge us on this sample alone. Come visit (any time except Derby, if you want to hang with us as we are year round instead of during that two week circus).
I just like that there’s at least someone else who doesn’t think this is the “south”
Louisville KY is the south we ain't Midwest
@@LOUISVILLECARDINALSI'm from NC I've been thinking about moving to Northern Kentucky!
@@hitek9too255 it's a beautiful place lot of hidden gems great places to visit
Recently moved back to KY from Philly. This is way nicer than there. It’s all relative. Kids can get bussed to schools out of area so there’s equal opportunities for them.
First time I was in Philly was around 2003 and the neighborhood we stayed in looked like a bombed out third world country.
So they can corrupt and drive the schools into cesspits like in Downtown.
You in the city in the winter. Be here in the summer. 502 is crazy. It's getting worse every year
can they see the camera dogg? the board biz is thriving!!!
Louisville is ugly in the winter time, but most cities are
Essa cidade é um paraíso comparado a região nordeste do Brasil.
Come to Lexington KY!!!
Proud of Louisville, but you have a lot to be proud of over there in Lexington as well. United we stand! (My mother went to WKU and Murray so, when all my friends are screaming about the Cats and the Cards, I always say, "Go Hilltoppers/Racers." I like to think of myself as from the whole state, not just Louisville.
It’s not to bad, anyone can drive through without being bothered…. Even you
some of the area isn't portland
Not me waiting on VP to show up, lmao you literally only showed the west end, next time hit up Portland and 7th st/berry Ave area. KY famous for its "white hoods"
Most of what you see is Portland. He def should have showed other parts of Louisville.
@dakotamccord4821 his whole point was to show bad hoods in certain citys
Looks like a great place to live. Lucky them 😊😊😊😊😊
Charlie has been to every hood in America by now...
Poor Scion FRS @ 5:44
These are area what's getting revitalized and this not no where near where real poverty is in city that's 1 fourth of city it's not only in Westend
Louisville Kentucky Truck plant is works??
Thousands of closed houses and thousands of people living in the cold on the streets!!! This Is the Failure of our stupid and selfish species.😔
미국의 사회보장제도가 선진국치고 매우 열악해서 그런거에요...
Looked like a lot of the parked vehicles should be ticketed. They were either parked facing the wrong way or parked on the sidewalk 🤦🏼♂️ I understand why they would want to park partially off of the road, because they don’t want their vehicles hit by moving traffic, but it’s doing damage to the sidewalk. Taxpayers have to pay for the repairs.
Wow. One of the worst areas you've ever covered Charlie. Really bad.
Your video is not a good portrayal of Louisville!! You went to Portland part only!! There is hoods all over Louisville. But overall Louisville is a nice place to live. Ask locals for help on your next video so people get the right perspective!!!
Fly like a butterfly sting like a bee …
🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
These neighborhoods use to be beautiful and thriveiñg. These neighborhoods are different now because jobs are gone which at one time supposed home ownership. Our people are being displaced and replaced. We are required by Our God to live according to Biblical expectations or we will be based due to sin. Watch " So Called Black People"!!! It's time to "Repent! and turn from sin while you have time!!!! Open ,Exodus 3:14-15 , 20call the true name of God, Deuteronomy 28 blessings and curses on use. Wake up!!❤
Ro rode around 1 little part of the west end 😂😂 2 of the last few projects beecher terrace and whatever the other 1 is by Broadway by the indies 😂 man you should've got you some chicken we got plenty of good places to eat 😢 and almost all the real projects been tore down for Yeats
Now the driving 😂 ok
A lot of these homes look like cheap construction to begin with. Now they sit empty, falling apart. I'm glad I don't live there.
"I'll have you know that Louisville is among the world leaders in abandoned buildings, shattered glass, boarded-up windows, wild dogs and gas stations without pumps."
@@curtg7396 Great statistics.
They def not empty . They houses are just so rundown & old & the city dont give 2 fuccs
They are old homes probably built early 1900s. that they put siding on. I’ve lived in Louisville my entire life. Not in this area but it has a lot of wonderful rich history. Sad how it’s become.
It's hard to feel bad for someone who isn't trying to make their lives better!! 😮😮😮
THE BEST PPL- MY FAVORITE AREA- and I'm white!
Lots of closed businesses in Louisville because residents do not have much money.
Only certain parts of the city
There is generally a connection between having money and having a job.
They seem to always have money for drugs, though.
