I love how carried away Doug gets, you can tell he's genuinely excited and enthusiastic in exploring sounds and showing his gear. Utterly inspirational.
Doug is just one of the absolute greatest hard rock players. Glad to see he finally got a signature 100 watt amp. And I love that we just got the absolute raw tone of the amp with no backing track, you can hear what it actually sounds like. The buzz is from the florescent light fixtures in the room btw, not the amp.

One of my favorite guitar players ! I saw him once with Whitesnake in Spain on a joint concert with Europe and Def Lepard. Great performance. ;)

Doug aldrich is one of my favorite players. Had to watch this and I clicked immediately when I saw this.. Very cool.. He has tone and chops like no one else. Love Blackstar from everything I've heard as well.. Especially now with this clip, and from Gus G and his amps.. I'm in the market for an amp and will for sure check them out since I have the same kind of style as Doug! Just not as good as chops maybe.. 😛

I just purchased a HT Stage 100 driving a Blackstar Cabnet. at this time its way to much amp for me at this time, but it plays so well from very low to very high settings. I can play in a small room and it fills the room, it does the same in a big room. I am not the best player but this amp sounds so good its unbelievable. My professional musician friends have played it and just are amazed how this amp does everything incredibly well. Thanks to this company for building a killer amp that works for every use. I am a big fan of the Dead Daisies and fully understand why Doug Uses Black Star.
But Doug! You're a Marshall guy! 😂 See you in The Boerderij in Holland next month. I have Suhr Aldrich pickups in 2 Les Pauls (one is a R7 from 2018), love it!

Doug is the man! We’re the same age and come from the same era. Old enough to be kickass “old school”, and young enough to just still be kicking ass. Although, he kicks WAY more ass than I do. He’s a pro. I’m a hack. 😂
Everyone complaining about the buzz - he knows...he says at 16:57 "I've got a buzz in the studio". Who cares? It's an impromptu rig rundown, when the studio environment is clearly for video purposes, rather than audio, with the green screen up.

Damnit, I love it when DA just tries to demonstrate something soundwise and ends up in kicking butt because he's so into playing guitar! That's how it is supposed to be, I'd say! Love him and really am looking forward to watching him play with the Dead Daisies on saturday, Pratteln Switzerland! What a role model for me as a guitar player.... yet I have to find out about these Black Star Amps since I'm in Team Marshall basically from the start!

A Cioks power supply on the pedalboard did wonders for cleaning up 60hz hum and other unwanted noise from other pedals for me. Just saying it was a little bit noisy, and I have 6 different overdrive and drive pedals on my board along with a Revv G8 noise gate. Love the pickups and overall sound, always been a big fan. I've been looking at more the Revv Generator 120 heads are amazing, just as bit outa my price range right now.
I got the HT Stage 100 the mesh cloth look one, I changed mine to a black gloss diamond plate look.
Doug your playing is lovely Really great!….. Are those amps valve powered? Just wondering….. and it doesn’t sound like they have a noise gate, keep rocking 🤟

He’s got a lot going on. Big tube amp like that with 7-8 pedals, a buzz is inevitable. After seeing him live however i can assure there aint ever no buzz.. Just jaw dropping tone 🥵

how can you upload a promotional video with such poor audio? The noise is so annoying that it's not really fun to listen to. Doug is one of my favorites as a guitarist, but that's really overwhelming, sorry.

Hard to believe he jumped ship from Marshall. Doesn't sound as good. I bet they're giving him different amps than stock models. Stock, they are simply not reliable amps and made very cheaply. And man is that noisy! Good luck Doug, you're a fantastic player. Hope this works out for you.
