Great job on that rebuild. People don't check the oil enough on their power equipment and that is the reason I got two FREE Honda mowers, owners said they just stopped running and gave them to me. Checked the oil and found that the low oil cut off switch did work, added oil and both started right up. Something to think about is putting a sheet of 1/8 inch hardboard on top of your work bench to keep the top in good shape, when the hardboard gets messed up you can just pull it off and replace it. That and get sheets of cardboard from the "big box food stores" and use them under your project.
If I ever rebuild one of those, I'll need to film it too. That's the only way I'll ever know where to put back everything I took off. Thanks for another good video.

I used to work as a service tech at a Hustler dealer. I've rebuilt several of those Kohler engines. The lawn care company employees run them HARD.
