For some reason Lectric is sending out bikes with no batteries or keys right now. Mine arrived yesterday without a battery or key, which was a bit confusing. But if this happens to anyone else that sees this comment - your battery and keys are on their way separately. In the case they do not arrive together, apparently it means the bike and the battery were shipped from separate warehouses. Kinda weird and inconvenient but stuff happens.
@@Usedtobecool my bike came within a week. It’s now been two weeks since I placed my order and my battery should be here tomorrow. So their average delivery speed for their bikes and batteries is about 1 week
Make sure you look at the battery connection before unfolding the bike, mine had a protective cover over the connector. Also it was nice mine had a Velcro strap around the tires already so I kept it to strap the tires together.
Love it! Dad looks like he's having a blast! Might be interesting to do a video going over how you'd overcome some of the issues people are seeing with this newer batch of 3.0's. Mainly what happens if you encounter a damaged tube right out of the box. How to change the tube and/or how to patch it. How to inspect the rim and repair or replace the rim tape. There are other videos out there on the subject, sure, but the quality you guys put into your videos and the audience you have would certainly reach a lot of folks! Just a thought. Thanks for all of the content!

Excellent, I believe most people could put the Lectric XP 3.0 together. Don't forget to check the air in the tires. I got the Lectric tool kit to assist in assemble my Lectric. Checked and ensured the tightening of all screws and bolts. Excellent video. Ride on!

I pulled up this video after unboxing my bike yesterday/ Should have done this first. For some reason I was not comprehending how the handlebars and stem were pulled up. I'd read about the key being underneath, which remains a concern because it seems like you could lose the key when it's underneath. This morning after viewing the video I was dumbfounded I didn't understand how the handlebars and stem work. It's so easy to assemble and disassemble. On to charging the battery. Mine was supposed to have come with an upgraded seat, which isn't in any box, so I'll need to followup with the folks in Phoenix. I'm excited to try out my new bike.
2 big things missing in the instructions: 1. There is a protective plastic clip over the end of the battery that prevents you from closing and locking the bike together. 2. What/ how to install/re-engage the chain.

The clasp on mine is difficult to put into place. It’s the black and blue bike like in the video. It’s almost put together, but the clasp isn’t budging. I can’t lock it in place. The part that holds the bike frame together.

My experience was much different. The folding hing latch came damaged from Lectric and I tried to get in touch with their customer service (ha, ha). Apparently I don’t know the magic handshake needed to be important enough to talk to. So far not a good experience at all.
!! I'm female and it was a bit tricky at first; the closure on the battery was hard to push in at first but I got it closed shut. All in all............. yes!!! And thank you for your very helpful instructions.
Your video leaves many small but important details out! I just got my 3.0 today and removing the battery is a huge pain in the rear! How did your dad get it out? Dig it out? The key hole is in an awfully awkward spot and when I unlock it, it doesn’t slide out at all! You have to dig it out with nothing to grab onto! No handle? Terrible design. Your dad glossed right over that. I still can’t get it out of the housing! Having to fold the bike every time you charge it is terrible. Had I known this, I would not have bought it. Next, the front fork seems to be turned wrong. When I go to tilt the handlebars forward, they tilt to the right! Your bike appears to look like mine - it looks off but neither you nor your dad even mentioned this. Why not? That’s a nice feature but something is off. For all the thousands of dollars in free merchandise you get for your reviews, your videos should leave nothing out. Also, why not just unfold the bike to get to the battery. Why unfold the handlebars? I didn’t and I can still get to the battery. But there’s still no easy way to get it out. You just zipped right past that very important part which makes your video as frustrating as the Lectric 3.0. Thank you.
Sorry we missed what you needed to see. It is a hard balance between making a digestible/watchable video, and touch on every small detail. One thing that might help you out. There is a small handle that is folded down on the front face of the battery. You can pop it up and then much more easily slide the battery out of the downtube.
Ok so I have a noob e-bike question that I haven't found in any video or literature I have seen or read. If I'm on a flat and don't need to use assistance, does assist turn off to preserve the battery or does the whole electrical system have to be turned off? What is the effect to the motors? Is there an idle that allows you to not put stress on the motor if you are pedaling without the motor on? Sorry if this should be common knowledge but I just am not that informed as yet. Thanks
just bought it a week ago. I ride the bike to work every day. One day a round trip 18 miles. The battery died and I have to push the bike 10 minutes from home. So they they lie the battery . I was contact them. They said they Doesn’t solve battery problem。 and the battery so expensive!!

That's how it was explained on the invoice, which had a separate delivery estimate for the bike and the battery.

Pedal assist zero is yhe only way to completely shut off the motor
Thoughts on how soon I need to get the spokes adjusted?
Typically not needed unless the wheel needs to be trued or there is a click sound from the wheels. A bike shop can verify though.
