Recently I’ve decided to get a sailboat and was looking to get lessons and the ASA Certification until I came across your channel and was surprised to find out that the same Merchant Mariner Credential works for both power and sail. That’s so exciting because I don’t really need a separate license and of course will be saving money. Thank you for sharing and once again your channel is very cool. Nice video. It makes for a good introduction to the sights and sounds of the boat show. It was good to learn that the power and sail parts are split. I kind of like that. Very glad you are getting noticed and shared by key people in your industry. Keep at it.
Well I was sooooooo happy to meet you in person at the boat show. I love professional boating channels. My stated most loved channel of mine is Out Chasing Stars, two professional ex-pro-captains that went around the world. The thing is I've got to say how much I love your work. How you mix very informative and worthwhile information with such entertaining body language and expressions. I've always told my wife how much I love your videos while watching them Friday's or Saturday's. She found the "Captain Boomies" beer koozie you gave me at the boat show, and hit me a few times for good measure as penance for the transgression. She apparently thinks that I go to Annapolis to have some sort of affair every year. She now thinks you are the captain I am hooking up with!!! What a vivid imagination!!!! I had to say just because Captain Boomies is my second favorite YT channel, and she slipped me her Koozie does not mean I am tying up to her in a cozy anchorage. At some point during the argument she cried that I was obviously "Hooking up with that Koozie Floozie" I went on to say that Captain Boomies has a huge rock on her ring finger and talks about her husband on her videos ....and is most obviously MARRIED!! Her husband is so strikingly handsome, if I were married to him I'd never stray either. (yeah that is a joke I really don't go that way ) Overall wife is so jealous now because she's put on a few pounds and thinks that my desire to start a charter company in the BVI's means that I'll take all my millions and leave her behind. I want to take her with me, so she is totally just paranoid. Her crying went on for hours and hours....man I didn't know how to make her feel better. The whole thing was like a Twilight Zone episode made a reality.. The sanctity of marriage is paramount in my mind, and I would never cheat on her unless she did that to me first! Anyway I thought you might get a kick out of how much trouble one of your Koozies can create!!
First, "koozie floozie" is the funniest thing I've ever heard!! Second, I agree, @outchasingstars are totally awesome! And third, I'm still laughing about "koozie floozie" Bahahahhaahaha! This made my day... Also my husband thanks you for the compliment. Haha 🤣🤣

I spoke to a dealer about a year ago in Annapolis he’s never seen me but that is no excuse for him telling me if I want a captain he could get me a much better deal on a captain’s salary if I didn’t mind having a woman captain. Needless to say that was my last conversation with this jackass. I myself am a otr truck driver/ owner with 25 years experience and a much better driver than any man I’ve met out here. Our conversation didn’t end well for him at all.keep doing what you love hopefully someday I will find my yacht and see you out there

The Chesapeake Bay is a pretty great place for boating, but I also end up back and forth between Annapolis and Florida a lot. See you out there!
