Thank you for being kind to the bee. We need every bee friend. No bees, no food.
Nothing tickles farm girls heart more than three handsome men playin in the mud. 😁 from Oregon.
The Bee was the star of the show. Nice one for helping it xx
Its always refreshing to see the amount of respect is paid to possible offerings or memorials on this channel.
👍🏻
The flowers you put the bee on are called kniphofia, or the common name is Red Hot Poker. I’m glad you saved the honey bee. I’m curious about the little fertility goddess. Have you learned anything about it yet?
Kind of ironic that you were working on a foot from a possible tea box and then you spill your tea. Lol! At least it wasn’t beer!
Thanks for that. Is the flower poisonous? Cuffs said it might be but I doubt it. Yes it was ironic! 👍🏻🐾🧡
@@Sifinds no. It’s safe to grow around pets. Hummingbirds love it.
For the next coin competition you should do one that's the furthest from home 😊
Great idea, but would mean being good a geography, haha
Wow! We finally got to see you do something us meer humans do from time to time….smack your tea right off the table! 😂 I swear I could hear you swear!! 😂😂 the claw necklace was very cool! Your keychains are always cool. I’ll be able to pick something up from you again one day. Stay safe out there Si !! ❤️❤️
Haha cheers Cath! 👍🏻🐾🧡
as always, Cuffs remains undefeated in that most important foreshore competition: best hair at the end of the day
Undisputed!
Si - You need to cast that claw & ball in silver!
I’d recommend you put a tiny bit of glue inside the clasp ends before you insert the leather. Gives it a double safety.
Thanks for your kindness towards the bee! Looked like a fun day all around.
It was. 🐝
Ohhhh CUFFS!!! I'd marry that boy...lol
I’d love to hear more about the fertility figure. The claw necklace looks great. You’re so creative.
A fun lark . It made my heart happy to see you transport the honey bee to a safe haven.
Thanks! Save the bees!
This is my first time to watch your videos. I was impressed by the respect you showed for that funerary offering of the old man. Good on you for that.
Another Awesome episode Mate 💗💗💗👍👍👍
Thankyou for saving the cute little Honey bee ❤ loved the key rings xx
Si’s laugh is adorable 🥰
Molto bello il video, come sono belli anche i precedenti.👏👏👏
I LOVE the little divine feminine Goddess statue! Can't wait for them to date it! The claw from the tea caddy is soooo awesome too. Fabulous finds!! xx Teresa ❤🇦🇺
Thank you Si for taking care of the bee ❤️
Bee kind x
Saw the plastic bag and thought OMG nooo, it's bound to be something horrible inside...phew🤗 Love the upcycling!!
Thank you, Si for saving the little Bee. They work so hard for us. Great finds guys. That claw would make a cool mold. I hope you made a mold. very nice necklace.
The claw & the padlock! amazing!
but yah! what a great summer lark 🌞
The 'fertility' figurine that Rich found was special...it's the quander, that makes it exciting! 🤔😃
- the tea faux pas! 🤣 we've all been there 🤣
hello from Denmark 🌸 ❄
Cheers Z
I love the tea moment! I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Haha ☕️ 🙈
The claw was a GREAT find
Cheers Juliane!
Was volunteering for Thames21 on the same stretch of foreshore earlier this week -lovely location with some lovely finds!
Love the upcycling and thank you for saving the honeybee 🧡🐾
Thanks Maarina! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Always amazed how many metal objects you can find in the Thames ... well after 2000 years of occupation it's probably not surprising ;) The claw is cool Si - you can get antique brass chains too !
Cheers. I’m happy with this look thanks
Something so satisfying, your intro with your shovel landing in the mud with Si Finds! written into the muck.
Cheers Linda 👍🏻🐾🧡
Thank you for looking out for the honeybee.
You should have made a mold and created your own So you could resell it over and over the ball and the claw I would keep the original cause it's so fantastic
So, I'm curious as to thought of a mudlark museum where finds and their stories could be made available to the world. I think it could be constructed with all the bricks I see, to not only save money, but show off all the kinds of bricks that there are. If only It wasn't 5000 miles away for me to help with. I would visit it one way or another if it were ever brought into reality.
Merry Christmas and best of luck on your next adventure in the mud.
So sweet, that honey bee!!
Great video and I like that you up cycle your finds. Please let us know what is found out about the figurine. It always amazes me when y’all find such ancient things in the mud.
Will do. Thanks Thea! 👍🏻🐾🧡
The tea caddy foot knocked over the tea cup, eh? Another exciting adventure to go with me Monday lunch and Kind Thanks to You and your Mates Si Finds! Some Lovely jewelry from the historic muck of the Thames, very nice! Love,Light, Peace, Joy of Larking and Luck inna Muck! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania
Cheers DaveyJo!!
I so wish you had more then one video a week! And Maybe a video a week for your upcycle projects. Never enough Si time! #Mudlover for life!
Cheers Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
So interesting how old that little fertility statue was . Great find ! Lovely to see Greenwich on a summers evening ! And your artefact crafts are brilliant .Love seeing your handiwork after the mudlarking is over !
Cheers Elaine!
@@Sifinds i wonder if the casting marks tell us anything, could be new for aye of that?
This video makes me want summer back!!!!! Longer time out larking lol. Tower bridge looks amazing at dark. So pretty. Love the way you made the key rings. Happy larking 😃👍🏻⚓️
Cheers Adam! Yes bring back summer!
You were commenting how the eagle's foot with the ball would make a cool necklace. I actually had a very similar pendant to that in high school; but instead of an eagle claw it was a dragon claw holding a clear crystal 😊
Yes, I had one too. It was my favorite pendent. Does not remember what I did with it. I am from the island of Malta.
@@amantedar123 I think mine is actually still buried in a jewelry box somewhere LOL
Love the little ball and claw foot, it made a beautiful pendant just think there must be three more somewhere. The plants at the end are 'Kniphofia' also known as red hot pokers'
Cheers Cath! 👍🏻🐾🧡
I loved the way you saved that bee. Just a small suggestion. If you had put it on that flower (which I think is an Aloe flower) it would have had more chance to survive the night as it would have taken some of the nectar to built energy.
Nice day for Simon you have a blessed Christmas to all 👍
Knowing me, I'll forget about the little statue that you found but it's what us women call, This is how I have to hold myself before I sneeze because of having children. 🤣🤣
I love the necklace that you made with the claw and ball. Now that I work for one of the jewellery sellers on Instagram, I've seen a lot of those in sterling, silver and white gold and yellow gold and they're quite the item so for you to find one, I thought was the greatest!! I like the picture of the jewelry(?) box that you showed with the claw holding the ball on each corner underneath it. It's so right, you just never know what you're going to find. I think, carrying a collapsible stringer would be great for rinsing off all the coins. That way you don't lose any coins in the water and you're not taking sand in your pouch, but I mean you are mud larking.🙃
Love the keychains you made too. Thx for a great video. 🌊
I love just being there to enjoy the potential of finding the past. You’re artistic side of making things become practical-useful is special. A lot of finds can remain in a box or shelf and just become passed on with limited value upon death. Tossing it out into the world allows others to be able to honor it. You could have kept the claw for yourself but you didn’t, for whatever reason. That’s special in itself.
Thanks so much Robin 👍🏻🐾🧡
As always, what a fun Lark with such interesting finds!!!!!
Cheers Lark! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Prince Charming of Craftyness! Love it! :-)xo
Love the view of the beautiful buildings across the river
Hola SI que impresionante todo lo que encontraron ,encantadores los llaveros ,muy lindas monedas .un saludo desde Chile
Cheers Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
Another Sunday evening chill with Si 👌
🍺
wow the box claw is awesome
Really amazing pendant! And that fertility statue is a gem. Cheers!
Lpve the necklace and key ring, Si ! You are so creative!
Cheers Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
Hey Si when your explaining the rules of the finds the view of the victory and the old buildings , its like your back in time great shot if you had a wig with curlers we would have mistaken you for the time however you dont haha
haha Cheers Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
Love the channel ❤
full plastic bags always make me nervous
Great "mudventure" and a reminder of that distance time when weather was pleasant!
Lol, yes bring back the summer 👍🏻🐾🧡
Hi Si, I have some info on the claw. It’s Chinese Art. It’s actually a dragons claw. The ball represents a pearl. You will see a dragon chasing a round ball , hoping to catch it in its claw and doing so means good luck, prosperity etc. in the 1970’s in America they were around. I have some , the more talons holding the ball the more power. I have a tigers eye, rose quartz and two crystals. Makes sense it’s on a tea chest. Chinese tea imported to England. I would keep it for yourself if I were you. Joyce ❤️🇺🇸
Cheers Joyce
I agree. Definitely a Chinese dragon holding the pearl of wisdom.
Awesome finds guys well done 👏👏👏👍👍👍🎄⛄️🌟💓💓
Cheers Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
Hi Si, I watched this old vid…just to say that the plant in the end near where you relocated the bee is poisonous….Latin name “Italicum Arum”…I think that it’s commonly known as “Orange Candleflower”🤩
Hi Si! Hope you are well!
You make my Sunday evening AWESOME.
Great finds. ENJOY
With Love from SAM
Guwahati Assam INDIA 🙏❤🌷
Cheers Sam. Keep on running
You can test a diamond in the field by breathing on it to fog up the stone, if it stays foggy for a few seconds its probably fake. A real diamond wont fog up easily if at all because condensation wont stick to the surface.
Another awesome video with lots of cheekiness, naughty finds lol, beautiful scenery, bee rescue, and fun with friends, thanks for sharing your passion for mud larking.
Great tip. I’ll have to remember that!
I enjoy your up cycling, what you make is very interesting.
Thanks Eileen! 👍🏻🐾🧡
I jumped when you knocked your tea lol 😆
Haha not as much as I did in anger. Haha
What a wonderful mix today, coins, a bike pedal, a fertility statue, buttons. I enjoyed the facts behind the ball and claw. Beautiful London City scene. Fun day and great video.
Cheers Coni! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Those lovely flowers you put the bee on are called Red Hot Pockers because they look like them. Also thank you for bee-ing so nice to the bee. :-)
Thanks ‘honey’
@@Sifinds You jist 'bee-hive yourself'
That claw was a beauty of a find, and the necklace you made with it was just perfect 👌🏻😍
....I felt your pain when you spilled your tea 😥😂
Silly sod ain’t I
You are doing a great work guys!
Cheers Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
Awesome video as always. Some fabulous finds.
Love the bird claw necklace and all the keyrings. Don't forget the crab claw 😉 that will be great too.
I think with Richs ring, the "52" stamp is the euro size?
Let us know the test results 🤩
Félicitations pour votre passions, et je suis toujours en attente de votre prochaine découverte, j’ai le nez sur l’écran de ma tablette, pour voir si vous ne ratez rien dans vos recherches 👋👍🇧🇪
Lol... you mug! Knocking over the mug of tea just made me laugh. Thanks for another fab and interesting video.
Cheers Hayden!
Lovely day for a Treasure Hunt - and what nice guys you are for saving the hapless bee - I'd have done the same, I'm always saving 'em. Those were red hot pokers - just realised I don't have any here - have the yellow ones - used to have them... The ball & claw was a nice find, as was the fertility token. Cheers!
Cheers Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
Love the ball and claw 💫 beautiful plant is a “Kniphofia Rooperi” a landscaping perennial plant from South Africa commonly known as the red hot poker flower 🌞
Cheers Georgie 👍🏻🐾🧡
Lol, that made me laugh out loud with the tea!! Something I would do for sure! Turned out nice! Great finds!❤
Cheers Jenny! 👍🏻🐾🧡. 😂
nice vid si, another great day in the mud.
Cheers Mudlover! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Irony how you we're working on the claw foot for a tea lockbox and you knocked yours over...lol
Lovely job on it. 👍
Yeah spooky!
🤣🤣🤣 less violence needed. Tea doesn’t deserve that.🤣
I'm surprised to see how much coins are found there. Nice ring. Congrats to Cuff's most find on coins and to Rich with oldest coin. Pretty good finds there. I was thinking the same thing when you found the claw on ball piece to make a pendant out of it. Turned out nice! 👍
Thanks Sal! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Fantastic. I live close to the river irwell in Salford. Dya think it might be worth larking there. It has an interesting past and formed Salford and Manchester as they are today 🤩
Yes all rivers are worth investigating. Just be safe 👍🏻
I just love watching you (and your friends) out mudlarking… but my favorite part had to be … well… a tie between saving the bee ❤️ and sending your tea flying!!! 😂 thanks for the entertainment! And the views of the Tower Bridge 😍
Cheers Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
I love the nighttime mudlarking. The London skyscrape is beautiful!! I hope to see it in person some day.
Cheers Mary!
Love that claw and ball!!
Cheers pal 👍🏻🐾🧡
There will clearly be another 3 out there quite possibly unless one or two have already been mudlarked awesome find ⛏️🇬🇧
Nice work Si.
Cheers Mudlover 👍🏻🐾🧡
Your little honey bee havwn is commonly called a Red Hot Poker, Poker Plant, or Torch Lily. We humans are just so clever! 🤭
LOOOVE the CLAW !!! 😘SHOCKED,,, YOU DIDN'T KEEP IT !!! 😜😉😝
It’s nice to share! 👍🏻🐾🧡
As usual, another great video! ❤️
Cheers Penny! 👍🏻🐾🧡
We really enjoyed this episode Si. I loved the little goddess figure. I dream of finding something like that. Sorry though matey, I did laugh at the tea incident. 😂😂👍
Lol. Gotta laugh or you’ll cry!
I have meant to say how brilliant it looks when you throw the shovel into the mud during the intro. So artistic. Always love your vids. Thanks!
Thanks so much!
nice lot of finds - necklace or choker came out very well - like the added chapes . amazing that the ball turns in the claw. very neat
Cheers pal!

Thanks Lia 👍🏻🐾🧡
21:40 Those are commonly called Red Hot Pokers (at least in the United States anyway). Very fun finds from that trip to the river.
awesome cheers!
You knocking over the tea. Reminds me when I did something very similar with a cable-tie, only I punched myself in the nose 😅
Haha
Another great video of the Thames River mudlarking. Cheers to your partners on the video today. A nice group to join you on your tours. Cheers to you Simon. 🏴😊👍🇺🇸
Cheers Martin! 👍🏻🐾🧡
