Incredible, who from those 176 comments remind this wonderful compilation... This is science fiction music from beyond eighties... Rare talents losed in the broad production of electronics musics
Thanks a lot for posting this. I've got the original album, bought new around '81, I think. It was my first exposure to a lot of those bands (including this one). Those were great times, amazing times really. Thanks again.
Founding member Dave Balfe went on to join Big in Japan, and then most famously, Teardrop Explodes. He had already left the band before this song came out.
Once all they were avant garde. Today are still determinating trends. They were great, they are still great (all the new romantic and techno pop bands)
Cant believe I found this. I am aproud owner of Kumpass Compass LP. First listened at Uni in 1990. My fave is African Express. Its on CD.

I am the proud owner of everything by Dalek I Love You & Dalek I :-)
Had that album when I was 11 years old, must buy it again.
This song was a recent discovery for me. Thanks for sharing.
I love this song so much..and many others by them.
I used to have this LP back in the early 80s. Someone 'borrowed' it after a house party. Such a great compilation but I can't find it anywhere :(

Thanks for sharing this. Great vinyl transfer too!
Great great track. And to think how many millions love the sh*t Superbowl halftime show this year. Ugh. This is so much more superior.
?
@@pashedmotatosYou missed it that year I take it?
same album.... same £3.99 sticker.... somehow found its way to me in NY in the early 2000s. so many good tracks..... memories
same album.... same £3.99 sticker... bought in Berlin in the early 80s! 🙂
great tune.....
magic, some great Electronica out of the Wirral in the 80s, these, Modern Eon, Systems, early OMD. A fertile time given the eternal greatness of HMHB
I have this as a 7" single; an essential early 80's anthem. The band inspired Tears for Fear's song Mad World.
Ahead of its time
Stellar OMITD now you know where the Brookside theme came from

has anybody found or can upload their song chameleons?
Same as...good luck finding it though. I ended up having to compile the tracks myself!
I bought the album in the mid 80s. Paid a huge amount of money to buy the CD of it a few years ago. Drunk ebaying, don't do it!
I have the album on vinyl :)
@DarthKreeg I ended up scouring my record collection and the internet to find all the songs then burned off a compilation.
The guys or half of the duo at least from O.M.D. Circa 1980, thanx.
Andy McCluskey wasnt on this.
great song pity the group is not better known
Eh? It didn't come from these.
