What beautiful memories this brings me of my brother Danny, 1st on the left. Sure miss him and his beautiful voice. Hello to everyone from Danny's sister Connie in Michigan💕💕💕💕
Glad to recall good memories Connie Jopek!
@@TheFunkyKingston where are you from? Connie
Completely epic tune, he was a talented man! Peace and love from Ireland.
Hi Connie! Your brother and the guy to his right were handsome men!! (Btw I love this tune thanks to my mom)
Didn't this band co-write a lot of the Jackson 5 songs?
Love to my little brother, I'm still around 9..11..22. Your Sister Connie.💞💞💞💞
Never realized the tragedy your bother suffered in his life. G-d bless him and your family too.
It’s absolutely beautiful @conniejopek2812 that you’re still here and you still love your little brother. ❤️
I know you’re a wonderful person and anyone who knows you is truly blessed!🙂↔️🙂↔️💋
WABX in Detroit was the only station that would play this in its entirety. My God how I miss those days................Awesome.
when rock was underground in Mexico and only Radio Capital with its fabulous program "vibrations" contributed to our knowledge of the enormous quality of these groups. It reminds me of the year 1972, my transistor radio with friends in the street or in my bedroom in the dark listening to this great program
perfecto !
John Coltrane's cover. Absolutely amazing!!!
you are right men ! is absolutely pure
Not many bands cover Coltrane!❤
No me acrodaba.
Radio Capital. La discoteca de la gente joven. Y ahora... Vibraciones. La Corporacion, India. (Maravillosas memorias de cuando tenia 17 )
A DJ in Mexico City used to like this song and he played it all the time on the radio.
Do you know the DJ's name?
Incredible instrumental masterpiece. I wish I heard this 51 years ago.
Indeed
Hi Connie - my condolences.
I first heard your brother's band while attending a military academy in WI. I listened to this album for years.
A psychedelic master piece!
Exactly!!!!
Excellent American psychedelic rock. Milwaukee band.
UFF ... GRANDES RECUERDOS ... HOY SE CONGREGA ENTRE OTROS ... THE CORPORATION "INDIA" ...
A true late 1968 FM station classic!
Still around after 4 years! May the chef also suggest "Track In A" by "Cat Mother and the all night newsboys." And also, to a lesser degree, "Break Song" by "Vanilla Fudge." P.S "QMS" and the song "Who do you love" and also "The Rascals" song called "Peaceful World."
FM huh….if you were fortunate enough to live in areas where you had a broadcast.
@@Oh_I_Will Yes way! FM underground stations (mine being in Sacramento, CA KZAP) especially in 1967-1971, played anything they wanted. They were not under corporate control. That all changed in late 1972. The corporate AM stations owners saw the advantage of stereo and knew everyone was starting to have Stereo radios in homes and cars. FM underground was destroyed almost overnight. I'll never forget my wonderful memories of free-form radio in those glorious 4 years.
CALIDAD.
M acuerdo d radio.capital
Y sus grandes vibraciones
Del rock puro sano desmadre
Lovin’ it when the organ drops in around the eleven minute mark…has that kind of Egg meets Caravan/Canterbury sound
I was 12 years old ,super song. From Mexico
12 years old for what?
Only the people like me enjoy those weird proposals ... but i think that the 60´s and 70´s were the most creative years of the past 20th century...!!!... I would recommend to listen to INAGADA DA-VIDA ALSO OK?
Jaime Dominguez ina gadda da vida
IN-A-GADA-DA VIDA.. One of the VERY BEST DRUMER SOLOS i ever heard... (BESIDES: "The Man With the Golden Arm" and "Take Five") Of course the latter ones were on other type of DRUGS...100% Natural !!!
Iron Butterfly album used heavily in 'Manhunter' the Brian Cox Hannibal Lecter film. I reckon the Vanilla Fudge take on psychedelia i.e. 'Shotgun' better but....
First heard this while stationed at Ft. Knox early ‘70 with my buddy Rick Onemus. Yes there was some doobie.
You reminded me of the time I visited my cousin at an army post. Those dudes had a steady supply of hash to offset their boredom and shortage of girlfriends. Kinda gave me a new perspective of the military.
Very popular in the Little Rock area. Clyde Clifford “Beaker Street” gave them exposure on his broadcasts…
yeah, i’ve got two recordings of him playing this. he played some great shit. wish i had some stuff from 1968-69 though.
Grandes grupos como traffic, ten year after y muchos más.
Here in Greece none of our radio stations play such music...
Long live Socrates Drank The Conium! ...greetings from Mexico.
@@joeheadblues Greetings to this beautiful country!

Algo único de ese tiempo fantastico.
Incredible!!!! Love this Group!!!!!
india, one most beautiful song of the 70' after so muchos years i hear again. Thank you.
You re welcome Javier! :)
The best of those years!!! Beatiful!!!
Its hard to ignore the Doors influence in the pace, the playing or just the keyboard overtone beside the guitar ..... It's fine and a plus for the flute arrival as I scribble these words ..
Que grandes recuerdos con este rollon.
Levada hipnótica. Não conhecia esta banda. Maravilhosa!!!
Thank you, I have this but well u know. it seems its seen its better days, Iv"e been looking for this but I forgot the artests that did it. but I found my lp and looked it up. and sweet sweet music. Thank You Again. 1 of them long lost Treasures.................

Wow. 1st time I ever heard this. I guess this wasn't hep enough to be played on the west coast. I would have loved to hear this back then.

I tripped on the groove and fell into infinity - and that's forever, man!

We would be STILL frying balls , about 4 am when the Corporation came over the airwaves.Or , Mark- Almond The City .Brought to our ears by the late great KFMK. In late 68 ,one of their DJ's leaked promotional copies of "This Was" by Jethro Tull &the debut Led Zeppelin .
Excellent never heard them b4. N this song
¡Favorita de mi juventud!
very nice thank you
You're listening to WZMF 98.3 FM (just slightly below body temperature)
And the war in Vietnam continues
The pic looks like 8.00 in the morning after a night playing & partying
Great 🎸..
Cool 😀
Very few of anyone I've ever known would have ever heard this if it hadn't been for me dropping by with this album and a few tabs of acid. Not a song you would hear on the radio. Beaker Street was the only place that would play it occasionally.
Perfect coffee shop music 3>
NADA COMO VIBRACIONES.
" ESTA NOCHE SE REUNEN "
just sold this lp and it is so great but u cant keep them all
I like *Long Tracks* ... amazing song

This music has closed moments of the song " In acadda da vida " of Iron butterfly. Sometimes I feel to hear something of it ( my opinion ). Sorry if I am wrong.
Great groove

Rolling Stones' cover. Absolutely amazing 😏
супер.
ESTOY DE ACUERDO CONTIGO BONIFACIO
The band can play!
Absolute masterpiece-in fact the whole album is a work of art.
nice i like it cool :)

it does & thanks-those are my stomping grounds!

fuuuzzzzzz
Okay, the guys can play but to tackle a masterpiece like India is not a good idea. The original by Coltrane is FAR BETTER and not a fuzz guitar in sight. Three and a half minutes of the Byrds Eight Miles High is arguably the definitive rock absorption of Coltrane's spirit!
I agree, nothing tops the Coltrane original, especially the live version with Eric Dolphy on board, but taken as a separate piece I think this is really good.
this is very loosely based on the Coltrane piece, probably because there's no way anybody could replicate what Coltrane and band could do (if I wasn't reading the comments I wouldn't recognize Coltrane's India-the Corporation don't even play the theme!) And since there is no horns here I guess you would need the sustain a fuzz pedal can provide. But I'm six minutes in and I'm pretty sure this isn't a try at the Coltrane song at all anyway...wait I checked the writing credits...yes it IS attributed to John Coletrane (their spelling not mine.) It doesn't sound like it at all-the six note theme or head that ties the original together is altogether missing here. Oh well whatever.
boring
😂
