Over all it is. I think if you took the top three payers on the tube and molded them together you'd have Steve Harris Himself. You'd have to be included in that.
This song is one that you really need to warm up your hands up before attempting. If you are not properly warmed up your hand will cramp or and tendons will become stiffened. Steven never made his bass parts exceedingly hard, but his technique can take years to perfect. I know, I've been trying for 34 years now. LOL

I'm not a musician, but it seems like this is a pretty sophisticated song for the bass (as most Steve Harris creations are); especially at the solo. I'm not sure why you rate it as inferior. I love the intricate guitar harmonies on this song and Los'fer Words. And as usual, your cover was flawless. Not sure about the one thumbs down, other than haters are everywhere. Looking forward to Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Take care mate.
