I just went this Sunday gone lovely weather went on icon three times and the big one seven times haven’t been since 2018 so I wanted to do as much as I could I love this park I love Blackpool so much never been Alton Towers or Thorpe Park I will be going soon but no ride or theme park will make me hate or not like pleasure beach as much, it will always be my number one
I can relate to that. I’ve been going to Blackpool for about 35 years so it will always have a special place for me 😀 glad you had a good visit.

Really enjoyed walking through that Ghost Train last night! The new scenes are amazing! Been told that there's more to come! I saw you in the crowd last night but didn't get chance to meet you I met Sean Evans tho from Lift Hills and Thrills.

@@coaster_dad The Laughing Man looks fantastic now! Gives me vibes when he used to laugh loud and move continously like he's supposed to.
It was creepy seeing him when everything was closed at least they do turn him off at that time.

@@coaster_dad Very same mate, my first holiday to Blackpool was 1975 - I was 6 years old and still have the photos.
I've also lived and worked in the Town back in the late 80's
Took my daughter ever years sometimes even 3 times, Glasgow fair and Sep weekend, Oct week.
BUT walking around back in 2018 just didn't feel like a holiday, so many familiar areas were gone, all void and in a real state.
All three piers are also a mess, if you take a good look.
I do hope they get things back on track, Id love another visit and see the place thrive again, but I feel now it might be too late, too far gone.
YES! it will always attract visitors, day trips or weekend breaks, BUT I feel the week or fortnight holiday makers are a thing of the past.
Also! It's super expensive and that alone for what you get and see 👁👁 just isn't worth the journey.
We were booked today bpb for same reason but unfortunately my girlfriend had a mishap with her car we had to get sorted

I feel like queue times on the app are not accurate at least on quiet days I went last Sunday Icon was a station wait all day but the app showed 15 minutes. The big one was on 1 train and had half the cars filled with sandbags so the queue for that was about 40 mins but the app still showed 15 🤣
Ha ha. Yeah it’s not an exact science. I think they just pick a number some times 😂
really interesting to see how it is as everyone has gone to towers, wonder how thorpe park was 🤔
