Thanks so much for this video, it definitely put my mind at ease when I went today! For anyone else that’s feeling anxious about it,honestly don’t! I’m a size 22 and went on The Big One, Icon, Grand National, Nickelodeon Streak, Infusion, Red Arrows Skyforce, Alice in Wonderland, Wallace and Gromit, The River Caves, Avalanche, Steeplechase and Valhalla! All with no issues! The staff were great 😊
Hi Everyone, I thought I would expand upon this great video! I am a 5ft 11". Man at 320 pounds (145kg). (chunky boy 😜) my weight is mainly on my thighs. So here is my list of rides I got on & experiences... • Avalanche... Easy no problems at all. • Infusion... I got on but it was incredibly tight on my shoulders but overall fun ride. •Avatar Airbender... Easy, best, comfortable, fun! •Nickelodeon Streak, Grand National, & Big Dipper... Managed to squeeze in all of them, they all share the same cart sizes. Grand national was very painful on my legs but anyone with smaller legs would be okay, also please get the belt ready in your hands before sitting on Grand National as there is a block on the seat which will separate you from the other rider. •Ghost Train... Easy ride. •Alice in Wonderland... Was great only problem for me, I was too tall for the cart, had to put my leg on Mad hatter in the cart 🤣. •Wallace and Gromit is easy ride too. • The Big One & Ice Blast was closed. (All-day) • Derby Racer was really easy to ride... Please wear something that isn't tight on your legs... Otherwise you'll rip your trousers! 😂 • Icon... Okay, you will need to sit at the back it is the biggest seat. I manage to get on the ride in the morning, but it was tight on my thighs, nothing else... It was amazing ride but a little uncomfortable on my legs. Now later in the afternoon (about 5 hours later) the backseat would close for me, but... It was extremely painful, painful for me to say "I'm sorry, I can't ride, it's too painful" they operators were amazing and said don't worry... Someone (a woman) in the queue did make a "you need to go on a diet" comment... But already somewhat embarrassed I replied " yeah haha😅😅" and walked out the exit quickly to wait for my family. But the operators fully understand this can happen and they were amazing! If I have missed any let me know... And I'll see if I can help you!!!

Hi, the seat belts are quite long, but if you are worried about space then we would suggest sitting in the back seat, because it can be a bit restrictive in the front.
This video was helpful for me visiting at the weekend! Only ride I couldn’t get on was infusion I’m 6’6 and was just under the maximum height but struggled as I have big shoulders.
We haven’t been for years and we’ve looked at various UA-cam videos.I find that at 5ft 9 and 16-17st,the seats on wooden roller coasters are a little tight. Your video will give confidence to bigger people who might be afraid to go in case they don’t fit in the seats. Theme parks should give you free entry as it’s good advertising.
Thanks so much for this you are so so brave to share this and it will help so many people! I’m wondering if you know your measurements at all? With you saying you can now fit on ice blast!! Well done 🌟

Just for more reassurance, I went here when i was almost 15 stone at around 5 foot 4, had no difficulties whatsoever on anything! 😊
Pleasure beach is one of my favourite and is very tall and fat people friendly
Most Restrictive rides are Icon and Ice Blast
Icon - Lap bars are extremely tight mainly on your thighs the belly normally hasent got an issue it’s having thick thighs that stops it coming down the lap bar has to go down an inch or so from the seatbelt going in they will switch you to the back if your struggling as that is a little more forgiving I am only able to ride icon at the back with the modified seating
The Big one - as described in your video the limit is the seatbelt trying the seat next to you might make the difference the lap bar is not sensitive and should be comfortable at your liking as long have it has one or two clicks the issue I have being tall is the legroom the middle and back of each car can be quite cramped for me so I try to get the front part of each car of the train as that has a little extra legroom and the lap bar normal gets and extra click
Grand National - very long and forgiving seatbelt and lap bar has no sensors can be at your liking providing it has had at least one click the seat divider it’s a squeeze and can feel cramped and the lap bar does squeeze your legs together and dig in a bit so it might hurt a bit especially as the rough nature of the ride
Big dipper/ Nick streak tight seat divider like Grand National and simple lap bar as long as it comes down a little bit it’s fine it has no sensors
Skyforce - normally quite forgiving it does not have to be as tight as The Smiler if you can ride The Smiler you will get to ride the seat belt has loads of slack it can depended on certain seats having funny sensors
Ice Blast - seat belt at least has to clip in some seats that are over sensitive May need an additional clip to put some slack in the seat belt staff might do switcheroos normally to seat 1 as that one is normally only down to the seatbelt
Infusion - as long as the seat belt clips in should be ok
Revolution - very forgiving just seatbelt has to go in
Avalanche - very forgiving as restraint is designed for two people
Air Bender - bar has to press tightly against your back, not tested a limit for it
Kristy Karbala drop tower - very restrictive due to it being designed for children staff normally try to place adults on the end seats
Steeplechase - very long and forgiving seatbelt
Everything else has either a very unrestricted bar or seat belt or has no retrains
Wallace and Gromit, Ghost Train, Alice Ride, Valhalla, Flying Machines, Blue Flyer, Derby Racer and Grand Prix can be tight in legroom for tall people over 6ft I may suggest that it may be more comfortable to cross your legs
What the seat belts like on the Alice in wonderland ride? Is it a big seat belt for the 2 seats? Worried I'm going to get it done up. Thanks
Hi, the seat belts are quite long, but if you are worried about space then we would suggest sitting in the back seat, because it can be a bit restrictive in the front.
@thellamaking7248 This is great information, thanks for sharing.
@StephandPhoebe thank you! I'm a size 30 and not sure what else I might fit on, especially in Nickelodeon land with my children, any advice please?
