That's great! I love when they keep the original great features and just add to it over the years. Yeah Exuma really is a relaxing place and I was surprised how close it was to Miami.
We just got back from Sandals Saint Vincent and we immediately booked our next Sandals vacation. We chose Emerald Bay because we want to do the Swim with the Pigs excursion. We booked the same room you have.
I'll be at Sandals St Vincent in about two weeks. Looking forward to seeing that new Sandals Resort. My wife has done the swim with the pigs TWICE. I still need to do it. When I was at Sandals Emerald Bay I was in meetings most of the time learning about Sandals Weddings, Golf, Scuba programs so I did not have any pig time :(. Have a blast!!! :)
Thank you for posting this video. This is one of the Sandals locations I really want to visit due to the proximity of rooms like yours to the beach. If I may, how hot did it get during the day in March please? And are the pools heated? And did you happen to notice how much the swimming with the pigs excursion cost ?? The connecting flight aspect has me cautious. I'd be flying down from NY to Miami, then connecting to Exuma. Sorry for all the questions, thanks again !!
Hey @Richard6520, The weather this month was not bad. Mid-70's during the day. A little cool at night but it felt great! Perfect weather for sitting by the pool by the day and sitting by a fire pit at night. The pools are Not heated. They are just heated by the sun. So the pools can be chili in the Bahamas during the winter months. I did a discover Scuba class and that pool was cold too. I also went snorkeling (included) and it really was not bad, I got use to the ocean water really quickly. My wife has done the swimming with the pigs excursion twice at Sandals Emerald Bay with Island Routes. I can book it for you with your room to make sure it does not book up. The 4 hour excursion starts at $185 per person. Yeah pretty much everything connects in Miami. That's what I did also. Have an amazing Tuesday :) Steve

Oh No, I'm so sorry Sandals Emerald Bay is closing, but if you like Beaches Resort it should be amazing when it re-opens as Beaches Exuma.
