Everyone who's complaining about Gavroche has to remember that he's a little kid and this might have been a second show in one day, if you ever were part of a drama group and played a character who has to sing and also run about stage, you'll know how exhausting it can be
I can see where they got the idea for having Eponine watching from the crowd as Marius and Enjolas giving their speech in the movie from the stage version. I didn't notice her in the background before during this part. (although when we see her for the first time in the crowd in the movie, she looks sick.)
Anyone else notice the part before the prositiutes and pimp sing their part that Eponine is in the background pushing some jerk away from her after he tries to grab her the first time?

That's good to know since I Didn't know that, I've read the book, but it was a shorten version, so maybe it was cut out of my version of the book. From the way its acted out it says to me that Eponine doesn't want anything to do with him, and I wouldn't blame her if he was making unwanted advances towards her, and that's why she's pushes him away both times. Just my view on it that's all.

Gavroche could have more energy but has a really good character voice and diction I think compared to some other Gavroches
