Some Fun Facts that I found: - Coach's voice actor also plays Tyreese in The Walking Dead - Ellis's voice actor also voices Cole from Infamous - Nick's voice actor is a singer btw.
the problem with comparing l4d and l4d2 is that, unless you're an extremely minimalist type of person, there's really no point in choosing the first game, since l4d2 has everything and even more
The only reason to choose the first game is if you are console and already own both games, because you don't get the free remaster on console you have to pay for it.
Left 4 Dead 2 is goated, I still play it to this day. No finale will ever beat the Dark Carnival finale with the rock concert. It combined my two favorite things: rock music and killing zombies
Left 4 dead 2 is better because they went in and remaster the first game and added it to Left 4 dead 2, so there is really not a reason to play left 4 dead 1 aside from nostalgia
I remember reading about there being a controversy about L4D2 since people though valve is going the CoD route of re-releasing a full price game yearly with the same lazy content with a new paint job where it could have just been a DLC of some sort. There became a Boycott L4D2 steam group which had a lot of people. Valve invited the ones in change of that group to showcase L4D2 to them...They came back satisfied and disbanded the group (though some people were still not convinced and still boycotting to this day, i believe).
You guys would honestly love the L4D2 characters. They have a bit more depth to them compared to the ones from the first. There's a crossover campaign where both groups meet each other called The Passing! Certainly, you guys will have a blast with this game.
I'd love y'all to make some Let's Play content. Like add some extra variety on stuff you've got here. I wanna some pals on Chicago havin fun in playin some games! >Still waiting for that SCP reaction vid.
i love l4d2. the first time you play (especially with friends) its the greatest game of all time, but after completing most of the content, i feel like there isnt much else to do. also coach is the best character
Left 4 dead 2 was my childhood, never played solo because I was scared shitless even with my friends. When I played solo, I played with cheats and noclip fly towards the safe room. My funni brain would go "yeah lol how about these zombies start flying and noclip through walls to chase you just like you did" never touched single player again, it was like silent hill for me
Left for Dead 1, the interactions between Bill and Francis Left 4 Dead 2: just absolutely AMPED up from where the first one started. Both are amazing, but personally I love the second one that tiny bit more. And you can replay the first L4D in the L4D2 setup and engine via free DLC
L4D2 took everything that L4D did, added more and made it all bigger. It's just the same but better. My favourite stage is The Parish, and my favourite survivor is Nick
YOOO! This is a reason why I bought l4d2 again on my pc. I use to have it on my xbox 360 and it was sooo fucking good. Luckily I bought it off of steam for 2 dollars because the deal
I loved left for dead 1 so much as a kid always mained Bill, but damn left for dead 2 comes out and my boys Coach, Ellis, and good ol Nick absolutely raised the bar, and the survivors in left for dead 1 were so good already
I ever tell you about a time a old game been there for long and still the best ? Yeah, that's Left 4 Dead 2 and the day me and the bois still struggling to play it, man that was 11 years ago and now we still enjoying it no matter what . Well, it's old but gold then now we hardly find any games that can do better than this one . Ellis, is now the best time ? Yes .
Okay so since you asked. My favourite character to play as , is Bill and Francis, and Ellis (the cowboy guy, in the second game). My favourite guns (in both games) is the pump shotgun and the autoshotgun (and ak 47 with a lasersight), but i like to try all guns from time to time. My favourite game from these 2 is surely Left 4 dead 2, because the mods make it more diverse. Although, i tend to play left 4 dead 1 campaigns inside left 4 dead 2 more. But i prefer the extended gore and gameplay tweaks from the second game for sure over the first. My favourite stage, i think it is the No mercy hospital
L4D1 is more ambience focus, the dark and grim environments are the focus. But content wise I prefer the second one, more weapons, melee weapons and the survivors talk a lot more with each other.
Smoker! Which. Lights out Hunter! Bloody hell! A horde! Tank! Boomer! Spitter! Jockey get it off get it off! Charger! And we’re nearby into the death spot! Be careful!
Left 4 Dead 1 had more dreadful atmosphere and better written characters, but Left 4 Dead 2 is a better game overall with a deeper core gameplay, more diverse campaigns scenarios and finale types, better visuals and more game modes - you can even not only play every L4D1 campaign in there, you can pick the "mutation" that will remove all L4D2 weapons, items and infected from any gamemode (if you are that nostalgic). My only real complaint is that L4D2 level design becoming much more reliant on game conventions, which is why many obstacles become absurd, which catches the eye and spoils the immersion... climb over a fuel truck? No way, we need to blow it up. Is the fence neck-high? Well, we tried - we go around through half of the fair, on the roofs and through the ticket offices, attracting the attention of an endless horde. There's at least one place on every map in every campaign where you look at an obstacle and think, "Are you kidding me?", which wasn't the case back in L4D1.
Well.. i hope Back 4 Blood will be better. L4D2 was good and still good till today. But Back 4 Blood, i hope it will give out the fresh and new amazing contentsz
