I came across your videos in an effort to learn dock etiquette, launching and loading before doing it our first time. At first, they gave me panic attacks. But after a while, I realized I had learned so much about what to do and what not to do. We had a pratcie session a week ago at a quiet ramp in the middle of the week, which seemed to go perfect. Sunday was our first launch and retriev at a busy ramp, and it went awesome. we were in and out in minutes, with no ramp camping or mistakes. I kept telling my son, who drives the boat on the trailer. CCC says slow down and we don't put the bunks too deep. Thanks for the education and the laughs.
Simple rule for backing trailer down ramp, is put your hand at the bottom of your steering wheel at 6:00. Slight turns are big moves for the back of the trailer. That is what you are guiding the rear of the trailer. Turn hand left the trailer goes left. Turn hand Right trailer goes right. Easy does it, quickly.
The guy swimming 2 jetskis with all that wind did an excellent job. Not sure where his friend is?? 2 jetskis and 1 swimmer🙄🙄.........great video CCC🇺🇸⚓🇺🇸⚓⚓
CCC, Thank you for another enjoyable day at the boat ramp where anything goes. I find it totally amazing how inconsiderate people can be & feel intitled just because they can own/ make payments on a vessel. Your narration was spot on & very accurate. My best to you, your son, & rest of your family, TMP from N.J.
I remember as a kid my brother thought it would be fun to push me off the dock near a piling. I found out how sharp barnacles were! The whole side of my leg was shredded. Mom was not happy with my brother that day…
CC Capt. this is why I love my Easy Glide Roller Trailer. One man drop in. Get trailer where stern is just in the water, park truck, attach line to cleat have it in my hand as i detach boat from trailer chain and strap and give a slight push and walk around on the dock as the boat slips back into the water and tie it to a cleat, VUAHLA
I love your videos! Up here in Missouri we drive our boats onto the trailer. But we have our fair share of people who take too much time getting their crap together on the ramp.
If that guy hadn't helped PWC dude at the last pier, who knows how far he would've drifted? Didn't look like he could pull himself back up while they were free flaoting, and it appears he lost his drink while falling in the drink.
Is there a rule in Florida that you don't trailer your boat under power? It's weird seeing all these people dragging boats up to trailers with dock lines. I guess it's because there are a lot of actual docks at the ramps. In Texas, we mostly have just the ramps, so you just idle your boat right onto the trailer, and only use a courtesy dock if you are solo, or to briefly offload and onload passengers if needed. It's pretty much expected that at least one person in the party can handle the trailer and another can captain the boat directly off and on it if there are 2 or more people. The boats just lay off and wait for their trailer driver to get a ramp spot, then pull right onto the trailer, secure the bow and go.
Holy "F" that was extremely painful to watch from start to finish. I don't think I've ever watched a video and was so pissed off after it was done. Are there that many inconsiderate boaters in FL? Hell, I thought south Jersery was bad. Keep the content coming Capt'n!
Nothing worse than being a rookie at the boat ramp. Even if you practice a lot that first couple of times at a busy ramp can make it all fly out the window and stress through the roof.
It's consistent that the guy without a sence of urgency to depart the ramp continues to be oblivious chatting with some other guy as 3rd guy's motor scrapes his hull; "how did that happen?" he wonders vacantly days later... Well, I guess that's newb learning curve in action -- lvl up; awareness +1, $$ -1.
Thank God the weather is getting warmer and credit card captain is cranking out the videos

If more people followed your example being noobies they would enjoy boating more. But then CCC would have less content. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Natural selection at it's finest
You are so welcome! This is why I do what I do!
These videos are amazing. Proof that money and brains are not correlated to any great degree
I've learned in my years that the ratio of money to common sense is that the more money one possesses, the less brain wrinkles.
Oh dear Lord... what a big mess at the ramp. Thanks for the video CCC.
Nothing like seeing the Dunlawton Wobble as these guys try to back down the ramp. lol😆

Gotta admit that swimming in two skis in that current is rugged AF. "If you're gonna be stupid, you better be tough" -Capt. John Grisham
I enjoy your videos so much. Keep on making them.
Enjoyed the rookie ramp
I love weaving in between down the middle no waiting

Where's gater?.... lunch is served
People think fisherman arrive before sunrise because the fishing is better but actually it is because the CCC's clog up the ramp with their dumb.
So true!

Face palms all around
Barnacles, people don’t have a clue. ;)

3o yrs of near daily boar ramp time in ,a pattern has formed , avoid the skippers with white sunglasses and loud music bleating for their boats ,
Why does people think you have to sink the whole trailer to load a boat.
It Does take some practice.
JMA. 😉💪📷🇺🇸📷🇺🇸📷🇺🇸
Why I fish Mon-Thur because I can
Pretty frustrating just watching it .
need more closeup stern shots of the ladies
I would have keyed his truck
What a cluster! ǝɔᴉnɾǝlʇǝǝq
Unbelievable how inconsiderate and incompetent people are.
