This was one of the greatest, underrated shows to come out of the golden era of TV. The way they managed to do a deconstruction of the Batman character via Finch and Reese (ones the intelligent billionaire, the others the superhero figure), set in a cop drama in a Gotham-style city with Game of Thrones level character plots and world building, and the overarching AI theme, makes this one of the greatest works of film in my opinion. The finch/Reese and finch/nathan arcs over the first 2 seasons, then root and shaw, and ultimately the machine, and the the cautionary tale about AI throughout the whole show set it apart from the average series. This show had a vision, a purpose, and a message.
Not just the script, the plot, the characters, the actors, even the music is so awesome it gives me chill every time. Saw many action thriller TV show & movies. No matter how many days past. Person of Interest will be remembered. Its Epic. Yes Jim Caviezel did absolute justice to John Reese Character. Its like what RDJ is to Tony Stark, they feel one person with two different names, similarly John Reese feels Jim, no Jim feels John, wait both are same.
He never got a BIG role because of his beliefs... And adter the Passion of the Christ, we was one of the first persons to be cancelled. Just for his beliefs... He would be a great Batman, hell, even a Wolverine (too tall, but there's CGI)
Me so sad, I miss this show!!! Love Jim Caviezel's portrayal of John Reese, so quiet yet so deadly...I was crushed when this show ended but at least the creators cared enough about the fans to give the show a proper send off... I watched the finale, then I watched it again with the commentary, I was destroyed....
Cant get enough, just finished re-watching all 5 seasons. Its so good its almost like watching it for the first time. Love the music whenever he has that grenade launcher, even when Carter used it.

Some people say Bruce Wayne/Batman ,, some people say James Bond... But for me,, Jim Caviezel Perfectly Superb as The Punisher...

The body language of Jim Caviezel throughout this series was that of Terminator. So, we know who should be the one post-Arnold.

One of the best tv-series of the last 20 years. Maybe one of the best ever!
This show is phenomenal and highly underrated. Glad to have it in my collection.
