Immunising against blinding diseases with Andean Medical Mission

As well as the surgical trips to find cases of avoidable blindness and to treat these people, AMM work hard to try and prevent blindness for occurring in the first place. One of our strategies is to immunise against measles and German measles. Both have a safe and effective vaccine and regular trips like this one are part of our strategy to help and protect our patients in northern rural Bolivia.
