You can get different sized window regulator repair kits, depending on what you need. Larger kits will have more components. Just make sure it says it is for the BMW E85 Z4 Roadster or the BMW E86 Z4 coupe, to ensure it will fit your car.

Thanks! Yep, a methodical approach is a big benefit on any job! Window regulator proved to be more difficult and more time consuming than I expected. But another DIY job done and no need to pay anyone to do it 👍

How much would a full replacement mechanism be from BMW

The full mechanism is about £200 from BMW + labour if you don't fancy fitting it yourself. I have seen prices on forums for around £450 for the full job. What I would say is that replacing a full unit is much easier than repairing the old unit. And of course, a full replacement should last another 15yrs. So, as usual, it's down to personal choice how you decide to tackle it. 👍
