Thanks for sharing - I'll probably do something similar & also look at adding drawstrings at the bottom depending on the fit.

      hope it goes well!
Drawstrings should be pretty easy. there is a channel at the bottom of the jacket where you can put it through. see here : imgur.com/a/42VSG8z

Great video! I loved your video review of the jacket with and without its alterations too.
I am interested in if you noticed any down leaking from the seams you sewed?
And i think your machine does have a reverse stitch, the stitch length selection lever if you flip it upwards completely it will reverse. Or so it seems anyways.
Little feedback maybe add "MYOG" in the title or description, this acronym is used often to search for this kind of content as it stand for "make your own gear".

Thank you David! appreciate the kind words.
No i have not noticed any down leakage. however my usage was only like half a winter.
omg no way thats a game changer if i can reverse. thank you LOL. i have it is a box now since im doing some work to my basement. but ill need to check once i have it set up.
Adding MYOG is a good idea. however is it truly MYOG? IDK if the myogers will accept me if its just mods :(
