Build Muscle with Rings 💪 fitnessfaqs.com/product/body-by-rings/
I have a question ive been doing 6 reps of gymnastic ring holds for 10-45secs and australian vertical rows 7-10 reps for 4 sets and ring pushups 7-10 for 4sets and trying out some L sit progression. My diet isn’t the best I eat as much protein i can in a day which is around 75 grams and just lots of anything. the first week was shitty but i advanced to hold about 45 seconds but with only for a good extended amount of time like 5 minutes apart. I noticed my shoulder being sore and it almost feels like the joint hurts. Like the first week i could feel it in my back upper chest and forearms, am I now getting a bigger back? Whats going on?
06:02 Isnt this too much volume for triceps? me as beginner ( 22 dips, 55 push ups ,12 pull ups, this workout as 3x a week okay? @FitnessFAQs
@@Luka-pd6om you can do a regression of that workout any one. Look up YTLW exercise youll love it
@@1krazyking i get 2g protein/kg, or 1g/pound. Thats the best
@Fred Forbes lol fred thats good lifting weights go you but you wont get the full 360

Thank you so much!
I come back to this basically once a week. Lifesaver my guy.

Your back looks like a road map
I thought so too
A roadmap to gains
A road map through Moutains
Bulgarian Dips are the best 😍
top muchacho
Sup muchacho
Everything Bulgarian is the best!
Eyyyyy the muchacho is here
Love seeing tao comment on the other calisthenics fam videos
Just the first 5 sec was enough for me to say: Yes, I'll do my best!
This is pure art, thank you Daniel for all this knowledge.
not gonna lie, you probably helped me more than any other channel and that by quite a stretch.
love your videos, keep up the good work
This workout is no joke🔥🥵
BRILLIANT. Thank you for this. I bought rings in January, and they've transformed me. Now, I'm ready for some serious muscle growth and this is the perfect routine for me. Many thanks!
Every time I watch one of your vids after a long break im amazed by your back dude. Got that demon back.
Yesss!! I was looking for ring workouts! Thank you Daniel
Trying this at 38 years old. Tough but such a good pump. 💪🏻 well done to anyone who can complete all reps
I love working out on rings and I found a lot of great ring workouts on your channel like the muscle Up on rings you Updated recntly which I have done lots of times Thank you and keep Doing that great workouts on rings
Thank you. I really appreciate your attention to the details...make every movement intentional.
I really appreciate you explaining why good form is important and explaining how to have it by including the mind and internal cues. Other calisthenics channels just tell you that you need good form without explanation
I'm Bulgarian and it's the first time I hear/see someone on UA-cam doing a Bulgarian Dip. That's really cool, will try it out! Greetings 🇧🇬!
Make sure you warm up reaallly well. These will implode your pec major insertion into the bicep if you’re not careful...

I’m 60 and practicing calisthenics for about 4 months now & I’ve never felt better. I enjoy your videos very much. TY for all your work.
Awesome , any recommendations for complete new beginners ?
@@owmcommunityasiapacific6513watch this video from him: ua-cam.com/video/AdUfoCj3COQ/v-deo.htmlsi=SeuTMOcYaALzhdHB
He has plenty on his channel about rings and not only for beginners.
Amazing Video! Thanks for the Inspiration in times of Lockdown and home training. You are keeping us motivated to reach our personal fitness goals!
Nice. Now don't forget leg day.
Rings are the reason why I actually made some progress during quarantine. So glad I bought them years before. My bench also exploded thanks to doing weighted ring pushups and also helped balance my left and right sides. Big win :D
Thank you so much for this Video! Especially the Bulgarian Dips were new to me what a BURNER! As always it’s awesome to watch your great content.
Great demos and brilliant delivery. Thanks a lot !
I've been using this for the last 3 months and I absolutely love it! It's made a huge difference to my appearance particularly with my abs which is surprising since there's no ab isolation exercise, just compounds. I am also a lot stronger. HOWEVER, I have made a few changes to better suit me and this is what it looks like.
35 pull ups. 40 was just too much for me, I was down to only 4 reps during some of my sets so I knocked that down a tad.
3 sets of dips, elbows back on bars. Again 40 was just too high for me and dips arent my main goal, unlike pullups so I'm just using them to balance out my body.
4 sets of pushups. In my opinion, since pushups are quite a complex compound movement it makes sense to do these sooner while you are still feeling fresh.
3 sets of rows. As described.
3 supersets of bicep curls and tricep extensions. That's bicep curls and tricep extensions straight after with no break and the 3 minutes rest after each superset. This is mainly to save time as the workout can take a while particularly if you are like me and taking 3-minute breaks in between sets. Also, I'm far from an expert on this but I believe there is some research showing that supersets can be beneficial.
3 sets of Y&T. This feels incredible on my shoulders! When I'm done my shoulders just feel so much looser, probably because I spend a lot of my day using a laptop. So I quite like to walk away with that sensation rather than doing it in the middle.
Again huge thank you to FintnessFAQ's for publishing this for free, I don't have the money to buy the program but this is getting me pretty far for now.
How often do you do them?
@@gautamtamangmusic so I've now moved on to the body by rings workout that he sells but I did this 3 times a week. It's just a nice amount for beginners.
@@patrickbourne3819 Is the program he's selling worth it?
@ It's not worth putting yourself in financial difficulty for but it is pretty darn good. Would recommend it to someone who is just getting past that beginner stage when the standard exercises like pull-ups get a bit too easy.
To give you a quick overview:
it's a 4 day a week plan
You get a huge variety of intense
exercises.
A short but very comprehensive PDF
One or two short videos for every exercise in the program and it definitely has Daniels clear descriptions.
The community is good but the website could do with an update.
And once you get it you've got it for life which is pretty good.
Let me know if I can help explain it any clearer.
@@patrickbourne3819 You explained it really well though i have a question on this ring workout and well do i start with 3-5 reps or how did you do it?
like with every excerise because i have a lot of struggles when it comes to sets and reps and im not sure how to start there.
also did you raise your reps each week? or every 2-3 weeks?
Thank you for this program. I am incorporating these sets in mine now. Thanks to athletes like you and Chris Heria for teaching us the basics of calisthenics. I just started last June and these videos have helped me progress slowly but surely. More power!
Great workout!! Helped me to start with the rings!
Nailed it! Thanks for the high quality videos
Thx man! Will dig out my rings that I've had in the closet since I got them last christmas, and get to work!!!
You posted this just in time for my winter break away from the university gym! Thanks!!
Blessed for this channel ,seriously ,thanks alot !
Still the gold standard in ring workouts. Thanks.
Me and the boys just did this all I gotta say WOW!!!!! What a workout !!! Absolutely thrashed!!!!! Unbelievable pump!! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 great workout!

Been looking for an upper body routine, needed this thank you bro
When I get ur notifications, I'm super fucking HAPPY! God bless you bro! 💪🏻🔝
Awesome workout! Very informative 👍🏼
Great quality content Daniel!!🔥💪
The best part of ring training is it’s simplicity. And clearly, you can build a wicked physique with just some rings and proper form.
he never said that he build his physique with rings only.
For the busy boyz 6:00
My bro 🤟
Good looking out✊🏿
JUST FINISHED MY WORKOUT!!!!!! .....FEELING SO MUCH APPRECIATION FOR YOUR MOTIVATION , WISDOM , SKILL AND HOW MUCH THIS HAS NURTURED AND SUPPORTED ME INTERNALLY EXTERNALLY ON SO MANY LEVELS..... Thank you so much🐚🌈🦋✨💫
Very similar to what I've been doing for a couple weeks now. Crazy effective. Good stuff, Daniel. As always. Cheers!
fantastic stuff, as always. I found even after pumping iron ( irregularly ) for like 4 years, isometrics had me feeling like i got newbie gainz ( at least in strength) all over again.
Awesome video with great explanations, as always !
True strength lies in calisthenics. Time to reach the next level, but that can only occur by taking action now. Time for a change. Well done FitnessFaq for this effective workout.
Good for fat guys to cut and get shredded. Not so much for skinny guys who wanna bulk up
@@jkkim6928 doesn't work for skinny guys?
@@jkkim6928 not true bro i am/ was skinny but i am gaining muscle and weight with only ring workouts
@@jkkim6928 i can say most of the jacked dude i met used to be as skinny as a stick, fym?
TRUE strenght lies i acquieving your specific strength goals. No calisthenic in the world is generally stronger than Brian Shaw or Big Z, but there are definately calisthenicly stronger individuals
Kickass workout! It really gets all of your upper body on fire 🔥
Thanks!!!
You are a Big inspiration🙏
Fantastic workout, Dan. Adding this one to my personal weekyl schedule.
Sir, you are awesome!!!
Thank you so much!
Thank you ladd. I have Incorporated certain exercises recommend by you. Also I have combine them with other Forms of calisthenics. They have proved their worth. Once again thank you. 💯👌👊👍
Heck yeah this is perfect, been looking for a new program to follow for rings
Just starting week 6 of the BBW program. Still psyched! Always reminding myself to leave the ego at the door and embracing the suck.
hey I am new to rings can you give me some suggestions on how to progress for visible progress. I've been doing workouts for quite a time but new to rings
i am learning a lot from your videos !! Keep up the great work
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO BROTHER........YOU MOTIVATED ME TO PURCHASE THE RINGS .....AND THEN BEGIN THE ROUTINE .....wow what a RUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the ut channel for use of form, technique and exercise selection. Thanks 👍
Added this workout to my current routine and it was really nice!
Awesome movements. 🙏 thank you
This tutorial is gold.
Love you my man 💪. You were always a life saver
That was without a doubt the most thorough and in depth explanation of every aspect each exercise. Typically im left to figure most of that stuff out on my own like for example the way you talked about body position and elbow cues. Thank you. One quick question if you read this, is this meant to be done 2 times a week for maximum results? or 3 times a week?
Daniel, you're such a beast!
Thanks you mannn, this is a very nice video I just bought my rings this is perfect starter workout plan
As always best content 💯 ❤️💗 and your voice always calms me down ☺️
Ah... The good old backyard workouts :D
So nostalgic..
Excellent video!
Thanks for this. Will try this program soon.
This guide is great. If you want to target the anterior delts, and lateral delts (in isolation) as well to get a complete upper body (core excluded) calisthenics work-out, you could try pike push-ups and an externally rotated version of the t- and y-rows.
amazing routine, exactly what i needed bro. Ive been training on rings since less than half an year , this routine just in the right time for me. keep pumping this type of content !! greetz from Bulgaria !
btw, if it wasnt for you, i wouldnt have known that these are called Bulgarian Dips :)
Awesome brother. Your channel has so many valuable excercise.
Very nice definition and technique !!!
Tried this yesterday... bro, the pump was out of this world with rings!
Excelent content! Can't w8 to try! Thank you!
Awesome video..I learned a lot....thanks!!
smooth videos. very satisfying to watch.
Been doing this over the last few weeks and I've been doing false grip pull ups instead of wide ring pull ups and the results have been great so far!
Thanks for sharing! Gotta try this one out 💪
Enjoyed the video thks
Thank you so much, for me it's the best ring workout.
Just bought rings due to the second lockdown, god bless you daniel
Same here
Hahahh same here my dudes. Used them the first time today since gyms are closed for a month at least.
I haven't felt so weak in a while. No chance on a pull-up
Same here... But where I live A(Sanremo Italy) there are not many places for training.... I am going in a small kid area and make my training early in the morning when kids are at school 😉

Hi Daniel, really enjoyed this workout and I have been doing it every week since you posted this video. Would love to see a new ring workout in a new video!
This is prefect. I bough rings recently and I’ll be traveling very soon. Looks like a perfect workout on the go. I’ll be using it for sure!
That’s why I got some a few months ago, I have trips all over Asia with lots of annoying QTs and absolutely loving using them so much when I’m back home with the full home gym I still doing majority ring work for upper body

Hi Daniel, I've following you for over a year now, and all your videos are top quality. Just recently I got a pair of rings and gotta admit, they are a really good, but damn they show no mercy. Doing the Recommended Routine from Reddit over 6 months now and slowly starting to work on strenght. Thanks and much apreciated!
Added 3 sets of knee tucks at the end for core activation and we all set, thank you for the video brother.
Great demonstration of how to use rings. I will purchase some in near future 👍
