Cheryl Waters is a wonderful lady and clearly loves music and what she does. She's a cancer survivor who has remained positive and interested in artists, in spite of her own struggles. Now that's someone to admire.

KEXP I fucking love this channel. Spend half my days listening. Every band is decent, proper top drawer audio quality too.
I swear the audio quality for their live exhibitions is outstanding, there's no other channel that hosts bands and uploads videos with such a high sound recording quality.
I can't explain the warm feeling that this band causes to flow through me hearing and seeing them.

Ever since I heard this record I fell in love with it, but after seing them live a couple of months ago I fell completely in love with them as artists. I think the way they connect with the audience is so unique. I can already tell I will forever be a fan because I'm so interested in them as people, not just as a band.
when oliver made eye to eye, face to face contact with you at the concert because he knew you were sad/crying and slowly smiled at you and waved till you smiled back and waved... such a gentle soul
Romy played some solos in front of me because she had seen me over reacting to there walkout at the start of the show
The "I Dare You" video came up randomly on yt, and then searching for a live set of that song I came by this full performance. Love it. ❤

I am absolutely in love with Romy, and Oliver's voice is about the sexiest there is. Then you have Jamie making amazing mixes to make them both sound their best. Love it !

That intro of 'Say Something Loving' wish they included that on the album. Just that tiny bit of extra makes the song so much nicer

Oh god this brings back memories. I was in Seattle back in 2010ish and remember listening to you guys on the radio from my hotel and discovering the XX for the first time.
I'm from Chicago but dang! Seattle has an amazing music scene!

I've only been listening to them for like 2 days and I'm already addicted. There is something so fresh to their sound! I missed them here in Seattle, but I'll be something in Austin city limits. They are great.

I saw them when they just started out in Philadelphia at a small club. I was with my ex wife, who was my fiancé at the time. They had just become a 3 piece and I had just heard VCR to check them out before seeing them live. Jamie just had his mpc to fingerdrum on at the time, on a table with a black flag with an X marked in white.

It's great that they are opening doors to bring more sounds in to there music, this is something music companies dislike so that's great that they are.
