Yes I like that look with those size tires but I didn't understand that much . I have stock 20× 9 .5 all around believe on my car . Do I have to get and spacers so I can fit this size tires on it ? It's not drop everything still stock .thanks
factory suspension does allow bit negative camber. I bought 19x95 JR5 with et22. In factory suspension settings they stick out 10 to 17mm from fender. As I didn't know, I changed suspension and added camber arms to rear. But with factory suspension you can actually change camber enough to negative to tuck them into fender. In front you can slide bolt position to back or front 10-15mm and that changes your camber. In rear you have eccentric bolts/washer that allows you to change camber.
Thank you, thank you, than you so much for doing this video. One thing I would like to know is what type of offset will give you a concave type of wheel fitment?
Silverdeamon92 thanks for the compliment! The offset doesn’t have a huge effect on weather a wheel is concave, that is more the design of the wheel itself. Most concave wheels still have a positive offset.
Doubt you guys will respond on such an old video, but Im in love with the american flag vinyl roof wrap. Ive looked for something similar but cant find anything close. Could you tell me if this is an item I can purchase or was this custom made?
Question for you, is your car a performance pack? I am trying to figure out if I can fit the PP Brembo brakes on my car with 255/40ZR19s in the front on 19 x 8.5s.
@@Viper06290 It is not -- so I can't say for sure but you can go 9.5 x19s without issue in the front, so I would think you would be fine. I'd google it and see what comes back.
What's missing is how these tires ride, looking cool is one thing, going on a trip with fat 20" wheels is going to suck. How about tramlining? How do they affect performance? Surely a big fat tire/wheel combo ain't going to be as nimble as something with less mass. But aside from those omissions good video.
Bill, you failed to mention that the difference between losing and winning is the increased rear 0.4" tread width going from 295 vs 305 tires. And just last week my friend with 305's met a lovely lady who didn't want anything to do with the other guy, turns out he had 295's..😎
Bill, are you running spacers on your set up? And was your car dropped with Ford performance springs on this set up? I'm looking to put 20x10 and 20x11 with stock suspension 2019 mustang gt. Will your set up fit my car and be more flush to the car? Thanks.
Just curious - on the first vehicle shown the video states that 295/35 x 20 is 27.5" tall, but on tire size calculators and TireRack stated diameter is 28.1". I like the look but how does this affect gearing, etc? Scrub angle is also increased by a lot with 11" x 50mm offset. I'm really in the weeds about this when considering a +1 setup for my Mach 1.
I have been very happy with the ride and wear I have gotten out of the G2s, at that power level any tire short of a drag radial will have issues in lower gears.
Am planning on upgrading brakes ftom stock (4piston) to GT350R brakes, and two main questions. Front which wheel can I use what specs? And for the rear having larger track can I use something like pp1 or pp2 wheels?
Hi I have a 2016 mustang gt with 255 40 20 on the front nd 285 40 20 on rear nd r just inside the fenders nd I have a 1.3" lowering springs that I haven't put in the car yet cause I'm not sure if they will rub any feedback would be greatly appreciated
Just got my 1st mustang v6. Would like wheels but also want too rotate them. What's the widest size 19 I can get in the front would just use wheel spacers on the rear for the look. Please help. Love your guys video
Hey guys, I have a 2017 Mustang GT and I’m looking into getting the GT350 wheels from ford. They are 10.5 wide in the front. Would that fit on my Mustang? Also I’ve looked into the MRR M350 wheels. I’ve heard they crack easy and the quality is not the greatest... is it worth it to order the genuine GT 350 wheels over the MRR wheels??
Can you help me I would appreciate it. What's the chances of a 19x8.5 wheel with a 30mm offset, and a 255/40/19 tire for the front and a 19x10 with a 45mm offset and a 285/35/19 tire on the rear would fit a 2024 mustang GT base model despite the wheels being labeled for a 2015-2023 s550. Thanks I appreciate the help very much!
I don’t much about wheels that’s why I’m watching this videos and I see he has 20’ byte a lot of people saying 19’ are better so I don’t know what to get know lol any recommendations and why?
I have a 2015 mustang gt performance pack. What are the widest tires I can put on the front 9 inch rim and the rear 9.5 inch rim? Stock performance pack wheels gloss black awesome vid sir
The red 18 has Ford Performance magnaride springs, 1 inch lower. The orange car has Pedders coilovers, 2 inches lower. The black car has Accelatec lowering springs, 1.5 inch lower.
Quick question. I have the same AMR AR924 Crossfire wheels that the black mustang has on my S550. I have a 275/35/20 tire up front on the 20x9 +35mm offset wheels. If I lower my car on 1" eibach pro-kit springs will it cause rubbing on the front wheels/tires? If so what size spacers would I need to get in order to achieve a proper fitment to avoid rubbing?
Hey man, looking at your personal car (The 275/35 and the 295/35), I think those look absolutely great, and would love to do something similar...I've got a 2020 GT, 5.0 so not sure if that changes anything, but was also curious if you lowered your car a bit to get that same look? If so, what do you suggest for dropping, as those tires fit those wells perfectly imho...

It's nice seeing how the quality of videos you guys put up has progressed over the years! Great video.
Thank you so much!
I felt I was in math class while watching this video lol. Very good video though!
Haha thanks! This video explaining back spacing and offset is pretty intense as well ua-cam.com/video/8EvMdbWB6MA/v-deo.html
Great video but a lot of people do not like 20" wheels and would rather go with 19s. Would have thought you could have given us a 19" fitment example.
True, I'd rather got 18 with a beefier tires
Why don't they like 20's ? I always loved a bigger wheel but tonight I lost a side wall so I'm on yhr market for new qheels and tires
@@Travidebecause they ride rough. A 19 inch makes it ride better. They say anyways. I’m confused af on how to get wheels.
This is a great reference video. I come back to this periodically to refresh all aspects of rims & tires.
your mustangs are in such great condition bro. Paint is perfect
i love the chrome look with black mustangs . just a classic looks! i want those rimssss!
I could never fully understand wheel math for some reason... Always confuses me. Thanks for trying though! Lmao
So fucking confusing
275 front and 295 rear is perfect

Haha thank you!
Wish you guys still worked on customers cars. You did work for me in the past.
Holy fuck that drag set up looks amazing
Love the video it’s straight 2 DA Point !!! It’s what the Stang World needed
Great video! I was struggling to get more info around square setups on the FN Mustangs, now I can put together that aggressive setup 😀
we need this for the s197, don’t forget about us!
After the holidays we will have wheel fitment videos for S197, SN95/New edge, and Fox body!
You are THE man Bill you explain things so well that even an idiot like myself can understand haha, keep up the great work
Thank you very much!
This video is pure gold! Thank you guys!
I have a 2017 and I run a 255/35/20 front and 305/35/20 rear with steeda progressive lowering springs and it’s perfect.
desertarsenalist i always heard 295/35/20 looks a bit more flush on the rear... you talking about just aggressive stand or how flush it is?
I’m pretty close to flush in rear but yeah the aggressiveness is sweet!
Did you have to run negative camber in the rear?
Velgen classic 5 is to me one of the ultimate wheels for the mustang without breaking the bank
I love this Video i just learned so much in this one vid.
That was the plan, thanks for watching 😎
Great vid Bill, very informative!😎👌
thank you!
Didnt understand a word you said🤔
Just an FYI - Bill falsely stated that 295/35/R20 is 27.5" tall, when it is in fact 28.1" and a 305/35/R20 is almost 28", when it's actually 28.4"
All you need is a set of P51 WHEELS, they are made specifically for the s550 mustang and are really lite.
