I recently watched a video of another influencer / brand ambassador who did some spring options with several Banana Republic Factory pieces. Banana Republic was one of those stores I was overlooking for work wear / transition styles from work to casual and now I'm pretty excited about the options. (NOT TO MENTION THEY HAVE PETITE! WOOHOO!) I just received the Tencel utility jogger this afternoon and, in an abundance of caution, I sized up when I ordered. Generally, at Ann Taylor loft, I'm a medium (Size 8) or Petite Large (Size 10). Loft is another one that does vanity sizing... so, for BR I got the petite large in utility jogger and, it was way too big. So, going to try and exchange. I haven't tried tops. I had never ordered from them ....now I know and thanks to your advice on the Linen as well!

I work at Barnes and Noble about 10 hours a week, and these Tencel joggers have become my “uniform”. I have two pairs and rotate them. They wash beautifully, are super comfy, look nice and never need to be steamed. Love them!!
BRF has been my go-to for business casual workwear for years. I'm with you on the linen pants - I have a few pairs. I wish they would have laid the pleats inward, as that tends to not floof up on our momma poochies so much. You look amazing in these outfits :)

FYI - I went full in on this haul and just bought the poplin dress, kaftan, linen tank, and the belt set from Amazon - I'm llike you, I LIVVVEE in the tencel joggers and have them in all the colors. I'd recommend checking out their linen blend jumpsuit and the linen polo tank tops. I ordered those as well, and they look perfect for hot summer weather. Also wanted to say thank you - so much for this type of content. Its a lot of work just to source the clothes, let alone do the try-ons and edit the video. Last weekend I hauled out all of my spring/summer clothes, accessories, shoes and jewelry and did a try on. I took photos of outfits so I had a better perspective and a catalog of go-to looks. It took 2 days and I really don't have a TON of stuff. It gave me a greater appreciation of the hard work you do to bring us this type of content.

Yes! Love BR,and I just got two midi shirt dresses, one with a mandarin collar, one shirt collar. They look beautiful with a belt…those,woven belts would be perfect! They are polyester but look like silk and are sooo comfortable. Got them for church where the air is full blast all summer.

Hi Marnie! I have had my eye on the caftan for a few weeks, and was looking for the sign to get one and here it is! Plus it was close to $30 cheaper today with the sale and discount code. I really like BR Factory store. Their sizing makes me feel good! Their accessories are very nice too if you ever have a chance to look at those. I agree too, online has much more to offer!
Thank you for reminding me about BRF. My style is more preppy casual so I fear more towards Jcrew, but occasionally BR has so really cute pieces that work with my cool clear winter coloring although most are neutrals or veer warm or muted in tone. The white linen check top looks really cute though and is an elevated basic. I’m always on the lookout for good basics with a twist. Thanks for sharing. Also , just had to comment, your discussions about pinned details was so diplomatic and 😊. Good luck treading the water on the capri length pants. I had the same discussion with my mother in law who lives in San Antonio about opting out of “pedal pushers” in favor of more ankle length pants. Those extra 3 inches were just too much for here! I should properly stop- finally got her into skinny jeans and now looser fits are back. 😂
It's so funny how people want to just cling to those capri/pedal pushers! If full length pants are so hot, how do all the men who wear suits or even just pants all summer not pass out from the heat? Why is it that all the people I see working outside in the heat in the summer wear long sleeve shirts and full pants? The excuses are just that-excuses-but at the end of the day, it's not like I'm going to run up to someone on the street and yell at them for wearing capri pants. I promise I'm not coming over to anyone's home in the middle of the night and raiding their closet! ;)

I love your videos! I bought the Utility Joggers and the LINEN BLEND COLLARED TEE. The joggers were great, good quality. The Tee was very thin and see through. I wasn't impressed with the fact that it had no structure. It's going to be returned. I think I will get another tee from one of you Amazon videos.

Quality is good to great and prices are very friendly.

I love BRF because they offer petites but the vanity sizing is annoying . So I am a BR 2 , even a 0 sometimes (im 5'3" 115lbs, 26/27 waist , size S) and normally a true 4. Costco has Mondetta tencil cargo joggers that are slim cut and perfect for petite, $16!
I really wish all the brands would follow some sort of regulated sizing formula. They would save so much money in the long run because it would seriously cut down on returns!
How see-through did you find the white collared tee? I'm very self-conscious about my bra being seen and have very few that are exact skin tone so it's always jumping out to my eyes. I'm looking for a nice opaque tee for the spring/summer. This one is so pretty! I did read the reviews on the product page, and the consensus was that it was too sheer, but thought I'd get your opinion. I could see a bit of your bra in the back, but not the front.
Banana Republic is my favorite! I just did a major haul there at the factory outlets. Although I didn't try anything on while I was there, almost everything fit perfectly when I got home. The two exceptions were from the dame style, one blouse and the other a dress. My boobs were way to big and I should have sized up for these particular items.
The stores are deliberately low on merchandise to steer people to online. It is a cost-cutter for them, but watch the stores start to disappear. One of these days, the try-on room will be in one's home! We will talk with fondness to our children about when there were stores.
It's not that they're trying to keep people out of the stores, but cost is always going to be a factor. That's how a successful business stays in business!
Actually, in-store shopping is making a huge post-pandemic comeback. The savviest retailers now work both channels. With Factory, their only stores are in off price malls that are inconvenient for lots of people. What amazes me is the size of their online product lines.
Personal question, what kind of underwear do you wear with these light colored joggers? Thongs? Or do you recommend a type that doesn’t show the underwear line? I can’t find a nice pair of “non-thongs” for that purpose.

Just ordered 3 pair of tencel joggers and then went back and ordered some linen shirts. Yikes!! They didn't have the utility jogger anymore unfortunately. I live in Louisiana so I understand what you're saying about the heat. It's awful here in summer.

The good thing about this cargo style is they lay flat and the legs are a jogger/slim style so they’re easier to pull off.

I'm a fan of BRF. I bought many items from them.
I love BRF because they offer petites but the vanity sizing is annoying . So I am a BR 2 , even a 0 sometimes (im 5'3" 115lbs, 26/27 waist , size S) and normally a true 4.
Costco has Mondetta tencil cargo joggers that are slim cut and perfect for petite, $16!
I really wish all the brands would follow some sort of regulated sizing formula. They would save so much money in the long run because it would seriously cut down on returns!

How see-through did you find the white collared tee? I'm very self-conscious about my bra being seen and have very few that are exact skin tone so it's always jumping out to my eyes. I'm looking for a nice opaque tee for the spring/summer. This one is so pretty! I did read the reviews on the product page, and the consensus was that it was too sheer, but thought I'd get your opinion. I could see a bit of your bra in the back, but not the front.

Banana Republic is my favorite! I just did a major haul there at the factory outlets. Although I didn't try anything on while I was there, almost everything fit perfectly when I got home. The two exceptions were from the dame style, one blouse and the other a dress. My boobs were way to big and I should have sized up for these particular items.

The stores are deliberately low on merchandise to steer people to online. It is a cost-cutter for them, but watch the stores start to disappear. One of these days, the try-on room will be in one's home! We will talk with fondness to our children about when there were stores.
It's not that they're trying to keep people out of the stores, but cost is always going to be a factor. That's how a successful business stays in business!
Actually, in-store shopping is making a huge post-pandemic comeback. The savviest retailers now work both channels. With Factory, their only stores are in off price malls that are inconvenient for lots of people. What amazes me is the size of their online product lines.
I do like a couple things from the video, but I feel like if I order from a ‘factory’ store, they don’t take returns.
Personal question, what kind of underwear do you wear with these light colored joggers? Thongs? Or do you recommend a type that doesn’t show the underwear line? I can’t find a nice pair of “non-thongs” for that purpose.

I can see that from some comments I’ve received over on Instagram, but UA-cam did change the layout and made it really hard to find the description box. Even I’ve had to take a few moments to find it when I’m watching someone else’s video!
Sometimes I watch on my TV, so I have to try opening it on my phone to find what I’m looking for 😂
