- Special thanks to Harun (Watch Made) / watchmade for lending me his watch for this unboxing and review. This Bulova definitely is a very cool vintage-inspired office watch. The watch has a very nice sunburst blue dial, and elongated lugs that look and feel like the watches from the 1940s. The watch has a 38,6mm diameter, 46,8mm lug to lug distance, with 12,7mm thickness. The watch has a 20mm lug width, so it will be a strap monster. The watch has a Miyota caliber 821A automatic movement inside, with a see thru-case back. The watch has also a domed mineral crystal which makes the vintage look even better.

I liked the dial. It’s a Citizen watch since 2008, I have a 1960 Swiss Bulova 17 jewels, 32.3MM, original black dial, selfwinding, 11AFAC movement, with an un damaged stainless steel care with drilled lugs.
Yes, now they are in the Citizen group. Oh that sounds pretty cool, Bulova golden days.

No kiddin: Bulova is a great watchmaking brand that is very underestimated, and unfortunately some of its new designs leave a lot to talk about, but it is always nice to see some of their pieces.
hehehe Thanks Oscar :D Yeah, I think this is one of the more interesting designs that they did. The inspiration from the 40s dress watches is definitely noticable in this watch.
