  • In this video we learn how to requeen a hive that has lost its queen, by using frames from another hive.
Also get a close up view of a Queen, a Drone (male) bee as well as Worker and Nurse bees.

Thanks for the video! I kept a few hives years ago, and I am now retired and plan to do it again this coming spring. I live in a cold spot in Massachusetts and beekeeping was kind of a struggle for me while I worked. I plan to go to B school in March 2024. Your video keeps me inspired. If you don’t mind me asking what state are you beekeeping in? Also, I’m wondering why you have your beehives on the ground and not on a stand? No criticisms here just wondering.
    Thanks again

So glad you've enjoyed! We are in Southern Coastal Oregon. Here where the ground never freezes they are actually warmer on the ground than they would be on a stand.
