- This is an experiment to see if I can grow leucospermum tango on a mound successfully - I had 2 die in the ground in my garden - they are very susceptible to pore drainage.
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Poor drainage? Pore drainage?
My Tango died last year and it was planted on a mound. Still not sure what I did wrong. :) Growing some others still successfully thankfully. The Leucadendron might be Safari Sunset?
Tango is defiantly hard to grow... sorry yours died... maybe other factors killed the plant...
@@growproteas1148 Thanks, we all hate to see our beautiful plants take a turn for the worse I'm sure! RIP Tango. I have Goldie, High Gold, Scarlet Ribbon, Spider Hybrid and Sunrise growing right now. They survived our heaviest rainy season in years so hoping for the best!
Jennifer G congratulations! That is excellent... what area do you live?
@@growproteas1148 San Diego. It's actually a display I designed and manage to teach people about lower water plants year can be grown in our area.
@@jenniferg3251 You are in the best place to grow proteas in the usa!
