Wow! I'm considering selling my 601 XL and giving up flying. One of the main reasons is that it is just too slow to make the kind of trips I am capable of doing, and want to do. This kind of speed increase would change the game for me. Unfortunately I don't have the money or physical ability to do a swap like this anymore. It's an awesome option that puts this up in RV speeds which is really impressive! Another great innovation Jan!
I have been dreaming of a 701 with this engine for months. My ideas also include a triangular rear fuselage, retractable slats and swing type gas strut main gear.
How will the new "Baby Turbo" 1.2T running 140 Hp pair up with a CH 750 STOL? What is your ballpark on "installed" engine weight for the new 1.2T for a CH750 STOL or CruZer? Loving this new engine after test driving the 2024 TRAX RS and Envista ST GM models past few weeks!!!
@@eggenfellner Thats awesome , I had no idea they made it better hahaha matched holes and stronger. Sweet. Really cant wait to see her perform, great idea. decided on a price for the 150T yet?
Very nice! I just got a 2025 Chevy Trax and love it and love the engine.

Very nice to see the engine gauges work on the D100! Impressive engine!
Excited to see it in a 701 and the empty weight and performance numbers for that airframe.

❤ 👍🏻 ✅️ Curious to see what the speeds could be like in a different airframe optimized for cruise.
Me too 👀🍿
OH YES! 701!!! cant waite to watch that come about sir, Awesome. you gonna share any re-enforcing ideas with us ?. Take us along!
We have the latest 2024 version of the 701. It is already set up for a more powerful engine

701 is on gen 5 now with the match hole fuse. I'm currently building one. The MTOW is 250lbs heavier than gen 1 and the kit is much more refined.
Another cool setup! The fuel flow reads 0 gph. Do you have that info on another gauge?
Jan, can you please explain speeds again since what the Dynon shows on the speed scale on the left is 134 with 5400 rpm (at 0:08)
Just use an online TAS calculator. The Dynon will do this for you as well.
134 knots to mph= 154mph
Ch-701 Videos please! Especially of the STOL comp!!!!
Finally, an engine for the 701?????
This engine begs to be installed in the RANS S-21 Outbound,
Go 195T on the S-21
What to expect with the Cruzer? Is this the Honda or the GM motor?
This is the GM 1.2L Turbo. The CruZer speeds will be slightly less at altitude duel to the struts. But better than most engines.
@@eggenfellner as for applications, is this engine quieter than the V130? And will this be a good fit for the Cruzer?
👀🍿
Are you guys are doing a diesel engine in the future.?
