I love it too. I'm making a few this size to make a charm bracelet and then a larger one for a pendant. I wish there was some way to make compasses to go with them. 😁
I love it. I just found my birth father after 57 years and he is a retired master diver in the navy. What a perfect gift to make for him when we finally met face to face. Thank you. You are my inspiration:) Cindy
Right off the bat I messed up 😂.. when it came time to twist the top two lateral posts, I was twisting and twisting and then after watching many times, I realized you were twisting the TWO wires and not just the little teardrop 😂😂😂.... Edit, so after my third try I finally got it.. but I think I'm going to have to try a few more times to make mine look like yours, such a pretty anchor 😀
Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm going to attempt to make it right now. 😉 So I'm going to watch it again as I do so. LOL I'm very new at all this. But you did a great job and now I'm subscribed to your channel so I just wanted you to know I really appreciate your sharing. Bless you...
So for the end of mine. I twisted the 2 tails together at the end then did the S shape up and finished off the last bit of the tail spiraling around the top. Looks like a rope :)
Can't wait to try this. My nephew sells boats and wanted an anchor keychain. Can't wait to try this out. Would you be able to help me out with the measurements for a 2-3 inch piece would you? I'm planning on using 18 gauge, unless you think I need bigger. Thanks so much!!!
This is beautiful, I’m going to try my hand at making this. I’ve never done a project like this. A bit of a random question what do you think the final weight of this piece is in ounces. I want to put it on the same keychain with some floating boat keys. I don’t know if it will be to heavy.
You are so talented! Love watching all your videos. I do have a question, do you work harden it by hammering or just all the twisting and turning work hardens it? Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much, Joselyn! (we share the same name, but different spelling :) This design isn't hammered - I don't find that it needs to be - but if you're worried about its sturdiness you could try using half-hard wire. Hope that helps!
Hello beautiful Jocelynn, ( please let me know if I spelled this wrong ) this is delicious ! I adore anything sea worthy. Question..on the bail do you suggest the 3 1/2 cm lengths to start like you did on your treble clef pendant ? Thank you so much for all you do and sharing your amazing work. I hope you are safe and well..Deby
Thank you, Deby!! I believe for the bail on this one I used two 3cm lengths of 20 gauge wire :) Here is the tutorial I did a while back on that style: ua-cam.com/video/0Al_ox5SSqo/v-deo.html
Wow ,I was hunting for this whole day ,and I could not find one to my taste ,urs is really very gud ,do u sell them ,is there any chance of me placing an order with you
Thanks, Kevina! I do sell them at my Etsy shop - you can find the copper one here: www.etsy.com/listing/661956612/anchor-pendant-necklace-antiqued-twisted?ga_search_query=anchor&ref=shop_items_search_3 and silver here: www.etsy.com/listing/801591255/anchor-pendant-necklace-antiqued-twisted?ga_search_query=anchor&ref=shop_items_search_2
Hi Wendy! Do you mean the two horizontal teardrops at the top of the anchor? You just want enough space for one twist between the teardrop and the center line of the anchor - I think it comes out to a bit less than 1/8 inch of space prior to twisting.
Hi Victoria! I have a link for where you can purchase my exact pliers on Amazon - it's in the description section of the video. On a computer, you'll need to scroll below and click where it says "show more" to expand the description section. On a smartphone, if you look just to the right of the video title, there's a little gray arrow/triangle you can click on.
Beautiful! Thank you for the tutorial. I'm going to try to make them for my mom, sister and me for our sailing cruise trip next week!
My kids use an anchor as their couples symbol, the T and the W for their first names. Can't wait to make this for them!
"Whatever floats your boat". Made me smile, since this is a nautical piece. Thank you for sharing your designs. I love this one.
Haha, you're right, that is funny ;) Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

Thank you such a cute charm. I just tried it and "for me" definitely not as easy as it looks. :)
Aw, sorry Anita! The twisting part can be tricky - maybe practice some twists with scrap wire, first?
Right off the bat I messed up 😂.. when it came time to twist the top two lateral posts, I was twisting and twisting and then after watching many times, I realized you were twisting the TWO wires and not just the little teardrop 😂😂😂.... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Спасибо!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
🤩🤩🤩🤩
Love this piece however, I had a difficult time following along when twisting the wire for all the loops.
Круто! 💙💛🇺🇦
You wouldn’t know how far out I should be making the second and third teardrops would you? I am messing up there. 😞
Hi Wendy! Do you mean the two horizontal teardrops at the top of the anchor? You just want enough space for one twist between the teardrop and the center line of the anchor - I think it comes out to a bit less than 1/8 inch of space prior to twisting.
@@FantasiaElegance That’s exactly what I was needing! Thank you SO VERY MUCH!!
