transmogs are better content, this in the end is just a flexfest, while those require actual inventive and not just free time to waste in the game farming stuff.
I'm the nelf hunter who got dequeued on the swift zulian panther (the bane of my existence btw). I was dequeued in the mount off from April last year on the winterspring frostsaber, and did 20 days of dailies to obtain it in preparation for today. I have now stabled my army of alts outside ZG and will be farming it into oblivion until I have the panther.

omg, this was so fun to watch. honestly, these mount offs always show me how I don’t have as many mounts as I want. it makes me want to farm for more as a side hobby. i remember back in TBC when I farmed for the talbulks, it was tedious but Nagrand was also so fun and open.

I always thought the rules were stupid at the end. If your mount gets matched the power should switch, you're just constantly casting mounts time after time hoping the other dude doesn't have it.
I have stopped playing WoW more than 10 years ago, after being addicted to it for some 5 years. Watching these videos I feel like an addict staring into the abyss, one step away from falling in. No other game has ever had this effect on me, not even close.
The way asmon does the final two is flawed. The person who goes first will always win. Let's say person 2 has basically every mount in the game, but person 1 goes first. Person 1 will cycle through his entire library of mounts until getting the one or two that person 2 doesn't have. He will always be ahead in points. Once person 2 goes, he will get his one point easily, then be tied with person 1 who will cycle through his whole collection again. The way it should work is it should rotate once the person gets on the mount the other has. Example, person 1 gets on a mount, person 2 has that mount. No point. Now person 2 gets on a mount, and person 1 doesn't have it. One point to person 2, but it switches to person 1 to pick a mount. The way you run it is unfair and always, always benefits the person to get the first point. No matter who has more mounts. The first person always wins
Raven Lord took me like years to get. In the past you needed a Druid Attuned to summon the boss and I was a Warrior… I had like every Druid able to do that on my friend list… Oh boy, they already knew what was happening when I mensaged them 🤣 They made parade for me the day I finally got it, those were the good times that made this game special!

Anzu is the first mount I actively farmed after Baron's Charger. After that I farmed the Nether drakes. Not a single mount after that really excited me.

No you have a 1 in 2000 chance of the mount dropping. Most of the time bosses drop armor or weapons/trinkets. Those have high drop rates 10-100%. So out of 2000 boss kills 1 would drop the mount.
Not going to lie, I really only touched a bit of wow in the beginning of shadowlands but nothing feels more at home than asmon on wow. Hopefully the game can keep up to his standards because he’s outgrowing the game at a rapid pace

He’s been washed up playing wow these days he watches more react vids than farming mounts. On top of that everyone just farmed all the reskin mounts to beat him didn’t even have to use the super rare mounts.
I farmed Invincible and Mimiron's Head for like 5 years and neither one ever dropped.. and now I can't run them because Blizzard nerfed running old raids without being like MAX LEVEL, so I can't run them unless I get up to max level again but I don't have the patience for leveling anymore lol. I basically washed out in my mount farming once Mists of Pandaria landed, I went hardcore from Wrath to Mists and then once I got a realm first and some rare mounts in Mists I kind of gave up. Played a tiny bit in Warlords and then quit just after Legion came out.
ive played hearthstone for almost 6 years and never had the desire to touch wow (even though being a huge fan of fantasy mmorpg) until watching a mount comp couple years back and seeing all the different mounts to farm out. asmon will make you want to play a game he enjoys
I want to get into one of these one of these days, i have every single obtainable mount up to shadowlands, well except for pvp saddles lol. I have some pvp mounts, but am missing several. I have over half of the shadowlands mounts too.
There was a bug up until recently that when a hunter tamed Raven Lord it would mail all the loot to them and because you technically didn't kill the boss it would respawn almost instantly, no doubt many players abused this bug. And yes, it's been fixed.
Me personally, I like to ride on dragons. So far i like riding the Heart of the Aspects, Twilight Drake, Albino Drake, Iron-Bound and Rusted Proto-Drake, Reins of the Crimson Deathcharger and Drake of the East Wind.
