@@TakahataStrify I did specify that it was implied rather than stated. Granted, there isn't really lore to back it up other than the visual similarities and the elemental thing, but it's been well more than 2000 years since the fall of Shurima, which is plenty of time for that kind of history to be muddled or lost. Considering the way they dress and their elemental magic, I don't think it's farfetched to say that at some point before the border was sealed off, their tribe at least spent enough time in Ixtal to take influences from them.

The portal is essentially a path to the demiplane for the Celestial gods/demigods. If I remember right then the start chucked at Pantheon (Spartan warrior) is most likely thrown by Aurelion Sol, a star forging space dragon.

What the guy said isn’t really accurate
Pantheons power doesn’t come from Aurelion Sol. The plane of the demigods is called Targon and is ruled by the aspects. Some of these demigods inhabit mortals who successfully climb the mountain. The girl is one of those mortals, she is the aspect of the sun, and the leader of the solari tribe. They have a portal to the top of the mountain, and at the top of the mountain is the celestial plane. Pantheon used to be an aspect, but the aspect inside of him got killed, he used to be the aspect of war, but now he’s human, and holds remnants of the aspects power. He’s trying to climb on top of the mountain because he hates the gods and supernatural entities that threaten mortal lives. On targon there’s currently a war between the solari and lunari, the solari worship the sun, the lunari worship the moon, and pantheon is climbing on top of the mountain so he can give a piece of his mind to the gods.
Aurelion Sol used to be controlled by Pantheon(the god/aspect), before he died, but since he’s now dead, and the panthon we have now is just a human, his reigns have severely weakened. We do not know if he’s attacking pantheon because the other celestial/aspects told him to, or that he’s just attacking indiscriminately, because Leona looked surprised. There’s more to the lore and why this called the call. In this scenario, Pantheon is answering the call for him to stand up to the gods, and the coming battles or wars ahead.

@@ShatteredFocusProductions Pantheon is a Targonian, the place the fight takes place is mount Targon, it is a trial, i can't remember if this is to become the Aspect of War, or if this is the 2nd time Pantheon climbs Mount Targon, the Paladin is Leona, im honestly impressed that you said she was related to a Sun god because she is The Aspect of the Sun, the first scene with Kai'Sa and Taliyah happens in Icathia i believe, it's a fallen civilization next to Shurima that was taken over by The Void, the crabs from tremor i believe are voidlings, Taliyah is an elemental mage (earthbender) from Ixtal, Kai'Sa is originally from Icathia but her and her father fell into the void and survived and Kai'sa can assimilate void stuff in some kind of symbiotic relationship. Lastly is the Freljord, it has 3 factions and we get to see 2 of them, on one side you have Sejuani with her boar and Olaf (viking dude with axes), the other side has Volibear who if im not mistaken is the vessel of one of the freljordian gods named The Volibear (its a thunder bear). Then we have the god of the forge Ornn who is Forging, Quenching and then finishing a blade. As many mentioned, Pantheon is betrayed by Aurelion Sol who shoots a comet at him. And in Icathia Kai'sa and Taliyah are fighting Rek'Sai which is a beast from the Void. Sorry i went on a tangent, but honestly the lore and storytelling in League (and Runeterra) is just impressive, the people that make the videos and series for Riot do an amazing job of letting the viewers immerse themselves in the world. And yes, Arcane barely covered anything, it showed maybe a dozen LoL characters, and only 2 cities while naming a few more, but there is so much more to explore still.

    Hey, welcome back!
If you really want to get into the whole universe/setting, I would recommend going over to "league of legends universe" - there is so much information/stories etc.
The cool thing is - it doesn't matter where you start - you can start from reading a champion's story, a comic containing multiple champions, the regions of the world (called Runeterra), you can even take a look at the world map of league and get an idea of what is where, with brief descriptions and what not!
    EDIT:
I should have given some help with understanding the video first probably, so here go the regions we saw and the champions in them:
    Sandy place - Shurima - Taliyah (rock bender), Kai'sa (symbiote), Rek'sai (Voidspawn/Monster)
Frosty place - Freljord - Sejuani (Warhog rider), Olaf (Berserker barbarian), Ornn (Technically a god here, blacksmith), Bear shaman was a follower of another god - Volibear (we saw his shadow in the sky)
Starry place - Targon - Pantheon (Greek-fighter-looking dude), Leona (Aspect of the Sun - semi-god), won't spoil who cast the "ray of light" and why :)

The viking that manages to survive a giant piece of ice is Olaf. A prophecy in a dream told him that he would die from old age, in a peaceful death. That is kind of a dishonor to the freljordians who are like vikings/barbarians. So basically, if he is gonna die from old age, that means he technically is immortal when fighting.
Yeah, her symbiotic armor is the same color scheme like that monster, because they're both from the void. Her entire village was consumed by the void when she was a child and she managed to survive by using this living armor. The giant monster is a giant Xer'Sai called Rek'Sai, and she is the queen of the Xer'Sai, the tremors looking monsters.
Atreus is the leonidas looking guy, he is on mount targon. Whenever a mortal reaches the peak, he may be deemed worthy by celestials to act as a vessel/aspect. The paladin woman is Leona, the sun aspect (good guess btw). Atreus once climbed the mountain before, and was going to be chosen by the aspect of war, Pantheon, but instead of just granting him his power like the other aspects do, the aspect of war deemed Atreus unworthy, so he totally took control of him instead. This later cause the death of the aspect of war, and now Atreus is climbing the mount once again to fight the aspects and celestials because he learned that the don't care about mortals.

Good to see you back. And guess what, I'm back too. And so is the lore dumps I give.
    So, in order of appearance:
0:36 the big fuzzy guy at the beginning smithing a sword is Ornn, a demigod of the Freljord. He created a lot of things, among them the bridge across the Howling Abyss, a fissure in the ice where the Watchers are imprisioned. He took an oath to never make a weapon again after his brother Volibear used his own weapons against him and his followers and nearly slaughtered them all, so the fact that he is making a weapon again here is big.
0:44 That is Sejuani, leader of the Winter's claw, and her trusted mount, a Druvask boar named Bristle. The Winter's Claw are one of technically 3 factions fighting over the rulership of the Freljord, the others are the Avarosans and (although most don't know that) the Frostguard. In this cinematic, Sejuani is leading her people to the followers of Volibear because they stole Ornn's cauldron, an artifact that produces a liquid that when consumed allows you to never need to eat or drink again.
0:48 and 3:18 , the guy with the two axes in the front of the hoard there, is Olaf. He's a classic viking type who was prophecised to die in bed peacfully. To avoid such a shameful death for a viking he searches for ever bigger fights to die in, yet it seems that he truly can't die in another way but the one foretold.
0:55 This young girl is Taliyah, hailing from a tribe of nomadic weavers of the Shuriam Desert, she uses her powers over stone to find a way to save her people from certain doom. She did hear of a village of talented masons, but when she got there together with Kai'sa, who she met along the way, all they found was ruins and Void-born.
0:58 is indeed the girl from K/DA, Kai'Sa. After she was trapped in a void tunnel for most her childhood, she made some kind of deal with the Void symbiote she's wearing. That thing keeps her alive and enhances her powers in exchange for I assume some kind of food. She travelled to those ruins because she can feel the activity of the Void and tries to fight off the Void so that it may not consume the entire world of Runeterra.
The big statue in the shot of the village is Xolaani, a former Ascendet now Darkin who once stood for arts and medicine. Her face is missing because the masons actually don't remember it, in fact for some reason no one does. Descriptions of her face are all lost, former picturings of her also miss the face. One day, a young mason had a dream about it however, but when he awoke he kinda went mad along with the entire village and they started killing each other until the Void opened a tunnel right there in the middle of the village and devoured all of them, slashing the non-existed face of the statue in the process.
3:11 This is SPARTA... uhm, I mean, this is Atreus. He was formerly the host for Pantheon, the targonian Aspect of War, but since Pantheon decided that Atreus wasn't fit for his might he took over the body and mind entirely instead of just giving the man godlike power like the aspects normally do. However, AAtrox and Pantheon fought and Aatrox wounded the body of Atreus so badly that the constellation of the Pantheon vanished from the night sky. Aatrox killed a god. However, somehow, the man Atreus survived. Now, fueled by anger over what was done to him, he hates the gods and wants to wage war against them. His will is so strong in fact that he awoke some latent powers of the aspect inside him, reigniting the one star of the constellation that shares his name.
Here we see him approaching a portal to Targon Prime, the realm of the Aspects.
6:46 This Leona, the Aspect of the Sun. She is another human granted godlike powers.
Your Graboid/Tremors comparison is pretty accurate tbf.
10:03 is Rek'Sai. The Burrowing Queen. She is the mother of the Void-borns and like Graboids, she and her brood does indeed react to tremors in the ground to find their prey.

the ancient statue 1:59 that is seen with its face cut off is of the so-called "faceless goddess". She was an ancient ascended (human who ascended to deity by an honorary ritual). He was adored for his healing power and his great contribution with this power to that society. But she was corrupted in the war against the purple beings seen in the same video, her mind was twisted and his physical form as well, she used his healing powers to manipulate the flesh of her peers and create abominable beasts, she was known as "Xolaani, the blood weaver". Used her powers to control living beings and that is why other cultures helped in her fall, she sought the supreme order and the end of suffering. After the fall of beings like Xolaani who were known as the "darkin" people began to scratch the face and break it from the statues to remember the best of her, without her disfigured darkin form.

    Explanation, there are 3 histories:
    ---1st Freiljord (the northern one):
There are 3 big factions of humans in freiljord (the followers of lissandra, ashe and sejuani). In this video we can see sejuani guidind her people to the ornn's cavern (ornn is a god from freiljord that can create anything from the magma, and they think he can give them food).
The followers of sejuani are known as "the winter claw"
In this part we can see however how some random followers of the god volibear tried to stop them (volibear is also the twin brother of ornn, and they arent friends to be honest xD)
    ---2nd Shurima (the dessert):
Here you can see 2 characters, Kai'sa and Taliyah. The first one was a girl who was trapped in the void dimension, so she survived because she found a symbyote that became her armor and now she is trying to fight against the void (ye she is essentially the equivalent of venom xD).... the second is essentially an earthbender who is back in shurima to meet azir (the old emperor of shurima who has revived as an ascended).
Here you can see they come the place where a really important ascended was born, that ascended goddess statue was destroyed on the darkin wars in order to delete her from the shuriman history (the thing is that ascended goddess was indeed the original darkin, Xolaani, a darkin who was so powerfull thar she created the hemomancy and turned the other ascended into darkins, controlling the most of them.... just aatrox, and some others like varus or rhaast were able to not be controlled, and that is what started the darkin wars).
The thing is that place is now completely invaded by the void creatures, specifically the xer'sai hive, where Rek'sai (the biggest one) is the queen of the hive, so when they detected kai'sa and her symbiote with their sonars, they went to hunt her .
Kai'sa notices of that and she decides to bring rek'sai back to the void (since she can survive there anyways), and this is the link with the Bel'veth cinematic.
---3rd Targon (the mountain with the portal):
    Here is some interesting one....
Targon is a mountain that acts like a bridge between the physical plane and the celestial plane (same as ionia works as a bridge between the physical world and the spirit world), thats why the mountain changes its form depending of the person is trying to climb it.
Here we can see Atreus (the man who took the weapons of a celestial god called "the warrior", so he is now the new aspect of the war) trying to access his portal in order to get his full powers.
However the solari soldiers are trying to block the portal, since Atreus isnt like the other aspects, and he dont want to "conquer the universe" but free the mortals so he is essentially an enemy for the rest of the aspects.
Here is a good detail, because Atreus refuses to use his celestial weapons against mortals, since it would be unfair, so he uses just the shield and his own body to fight 1 vs 10 until leona (the aspect of the sun) comes to fight him.
Since leona is an aspect, he uses his weapons, however, since leona has the full potential of her aspect, she starts winning the battle.
Atreus decides to use all of his energy to go directly to the celestial plane, flying on the universe instead of taking "the easy path"
The reason is Atreus lore tells us that he was never the strongest or the smartest, not even the most resistant but he allways refused to surrend, so he allways had success by pure willpower.
P.D: In case Atreus would be able to extract the full potential of his celestial, he would become the second aspect in achieve it (the first one would be the mother of Kayle and Morgana, Mihira, the aspect of the justice.... that is essentially a biblically accurate seraph because she transcended her physical form XD)

@@ShatteredFocusProductions It was war between God warriors of shurima. It started with fight against Void where their minds were corrupted, but were resisting until Azir last Shuriman emperor died. After that Xolaani inventid hemomanci and these god warriors made to fight void were turned into Darkin creatures that were more dangerous to world then void was. Celestial Gods then came with idea to trap them in a weapons. Which ended darkin wars but if mortals pick up these weapons they could (99% will) be mind controlled by the drakin insed the weapon which will take control of a body. Even in this form darkins are insanly powerfull Aatrox in this half-criplled form killed a Celestial God of War and this makes him the only existince that ever killed a Celestial god.

    • @SectorZeroGP
      @SectorZeroGP Рік тому +3

@@ShatteredFocusProductions Ok here is the explanation, the ascended were "artificial gods" created on shurima with the solar disc.
They got this "magic technology" from the aspects of targon, due to the amount of portals to the void that were appearing in shurima (so the ascended would work as "an army" of gods against the void creatures).
The ascended fought in the void invasion, winning but becoming traumatized after that (the survivals were like vietnam vererans basically).
Then, after the fall of shurima when xerath betrayed azir, the ascended lost their leader, so they realized they were inmortals without a purpose, and that was the moment when they started to rule the mortals.
The problem came when some of the most powerfull ascended discovered a dark magic known as hemomancy, Xolaani.
She used that new magic to increase her powers by corrupting the other ascended, mutating them and controlling their bodies by using their own blood.
However some few strong ascended (now corrupted) managed to resist, and they fought against xolaani.
So... answering your question, Darkins are corrupted ascendeds who learnt to use the hemomancy to increase their powers but they became evil in the proccess, and the darkin wars were the battle between the Aatrox side and Xolaani's side.
That was so destructive for runeterra that the aspects had to intervene, so the old aspect of the twilight used lunar magic to erase the most of darkins, and the most powerfull ones were sealed on their own weapons.
Thats why when you see aatrox, rhaast or varus, they really arent the character, but the weapon, they are living weapons indeed.
For instance, aatrox is the sword (in his case they used his heart to seal him on the sword).
Tbh, aatrox is the most traumatized one, if you hear his quotes you can see how much agony are on his words.
P.D.: Some darkins usually trained some humans on basic hemomancy in order to make them their "pets", that was the case of Vladimir, who used his hemomancy to asimilate his old master when he scaped from the darkin hunt (he was so weakened that vladimir could absorb him completely).
About vladimir, he is just a human, but with his hemomancy he became nearly inmortal, the only bad point is that his mind isnt inmortal so he barely remembers his past from 100 years.
However, he is powerfull enough to contain mordekaiser 1 vs 1 by transforming himself into a giant monster made of blood.
And yes, he is with leblanc the co-founder of Noxus, and the second leader of the black rose.
He also revived sion as an hemomancy zombie (the guy with a glowing red thing on his stomach in the awaken cinematic).
Essentially, vladimir is the second most powerfull thing in noxus after Swain (i doubt vladimir could do anything against swain's demonic powers to be honest).
P.D.(2): Mordekaiser's return is probably the next big event of lore, and is the event for noxian empire has been preparing for centuries (specially since Swain became the new leader).
If you saw the ruination event, you probably noticed noxus didnt event care about the black mist or viego, thats because they are prepared against something far way worse, that is mordekaiser (indeed viego avoided the zones where there was any demon, since most of them could easily eat his soul, like the center of the inmortal bastion where swain was, or the zone of demacia where fiddlestics was summoned).
For instance, if viego would've been at some kilometers around swain, swain could've just drained his soul, so viego never was a real problem for noxus)
P.D.(3): As a last curious fact, Vladimir is the Viego's Uncle xD

The forge guy is called Ornn and he's a god of forge basically, and after he saw what his weapons did in the last war, he said he'll never forge another weapon. Him forging a new weapon anyway (here it's the molten edge, an item in the game), means a new war is coming. It's moving the story forward.

You’re not too off with your trial remark. Climbing mount targon is a trial, it’s the words tallest mountain in their world, and it’s extremely steep. It’s also not a natural mountain but a part of the ground pulled up by the gods. There are tribes of people who live there, but climbing on top of the mountain is a sort of pilgrimage. Most people do not return, most people end up dead on their way up, or once they reach the top, most people can’t make it back down, but a few people who manage to make it to the top manage to be chosen as aspects, they essentially become gods. Leona, sun lady, is the aspect of the sun, she is a demigod, pantheon is human, but holds the remnant powers of the dead aspect of war.

The forger is Orn, a deity of Freljord (the north). And if I recall, he haven't forged a weapon for a long time, more into making things that help mortals. So him forgeing a sword signifies him getting involved in the world again to help mortals in a more direct way. The bearpeople follow a rival of Orn called Volibear (seen in the clouds as the lightning bear) thats all about survival of the fittest. They stole a chalice Orn made to make the life of mortals easier in the Freljord. Sejuanni (the boar lady) is after the chalice to help her people survive.
Spartan character was once a demigod called Pantheon. And the lady he fights is the current demigod of the sun. Pantheon (the god) inhabited the warrior and got killed when his avatar (the spartan guy) fought a demon. Now the spartan guy is pissed at the gods for enslaving their avatars. So he is seeking vengeance against Mount Targon (the gods realm). The star that falls on him is sent by the stardragon that is enslaved to Mount Targon.

For that giant slashed through carving in the side of the mountain, basically long ago the desert empire that belonged to had these god-warriors who protected their lands, but at one point in time, they all got corrupted into twisted beings called "darkin" and if i'm not mistaken, that one with the slash through it was the darkin who made all the other god-warriors corrupted, and so their image was destroyed all across the empire.
The polar bear could actually make that appear in the sky like that, he is an elemental celestial "aspect" in the league of legends universe, technically the bear that the woman (sejuani) was fighting was just a projection him. That's why she screams at the sky and not at the bear.
The sandcrabworm creatures are from "the void" which has rifts where creatures like that can pop through all over the world, but that giant one is Rek'sai, the queen. And Kai'sa is fighting her, but yes kai'sa goes to and from the void, but fights the void creatures
The spartan warrior is pantheon and he was formerly a demigod who was an aspect like the polar bear or like the other warrior he fights (the gal in golden armor with the flaming sword is Leona). He was made a mortal again (i forgot how maybe betrayal) but in the video his journey is reaching the portal to the celestial realm where he can get his power back

Forging a sword is a significant event that represents the heroes in a story. Dipping the sword in cold water, a process known as quenching, can either strengthen or weaken the steel due to rapid heat shift. This moment captures the make-or-break moments in their stories. If the sword successfully withstands the quenching process, it signifies that the heroes have successfully overcome their challenges and have emerged victorious. The finished sword represents their unwavering resolve to see their quest through to the end.

Pantheon (spartan warrior) is a man named Atreus, who was once possessed by the Aspect of War: Pantheon. Following the death of the Aspect in the man, the man lived with the powers. He is traveling up Mount Targot (a mountain pulled up from the ground to the heavens) to enter a portal to Targon Prime, the gateway to the Celestial Realm within the cosmos. Leona a woman who became the Aspect of the Sun loyally defends the gate and the Celestials despite their wrongdoing. Pantheon is then struck by one of Aurelion Sol's stars. Aurelion Sol is a comsic space dragon who has forged entire galaxies within his hand, but was tricked and imprisoned by the people of Targon to remain in Runeterra with a crown placed upon his head due to his ego. Pantheon has one of the best storylines in league and at the end, him rising back up is his ultimate in game where he flies across the map, called Grand Starfall.

So a little background to the story behind this cinematic, the guy in the forge is a demi-God, and takes on the role of narrator in the cinematic. Him forging a weapon is significant because the last time he forged a weapon it was for a great war that took place hundreds of years ago in the League of Legends universe. All of the characters we see fighting in this cinematic are trying to make their way to his forge to claim his newly forged weapon because another great war is starting, and they're all being 'called to action' (I can't guarantee that's the reasoning behind the title of the cinematic but that's my take based in the lore of the universe). Additionally, the massive laser beam that knocks the spartan guy(his name is Pantheon) off of the mountain(i believe the mountain portrayed is Mt. Targon, which houses an entrance to the celestial realm which im assuming is the portal you see in the background), is from a rival God trying to prevent him from claiming the weapon, that gods name is Aurelion Sol, and he basically created all the stars in the universe. The lore of this universe is absolutely nuts when you get into it

Does not diminish Aurelions hatred for him much though, but Mr. Leonidas is on a path of redemption to right the wrongs of the aspects and gods using the remnants of the aspect of war.
Fun sidenote on Pantheon story: after the aspect was ripped from him, the human (Atreus), used his diminished power to fend off Aatrox by fighting in a way only a human could.

I can't get over how photorealistic Pantheons hand looks in that first appearance. The trailer is hype but that looks REAL. For reference, gaming is widely acknowledged as the single largest entertainment industry (at least at some point grossing more than film and music combined, I believe) and League of Legends is, as of now, one of the highest grossing video games ever with an estimated revenue of 13 billion and still going stronk.
So you better believe they have the money to sink half a movie budget into a 5 minute trailer.

OK. The creature forging the sword is a god from Frelord, Ornn. And he vowed not to forge anything anymore since his weapons were so powerful that his godly brother Volibear came to get them and in a fight that ensued the people that worshipped Ornn were all killed. So if Ornn is forging a sword now - shit is about to hit the fan en masse. This is something he enjoys doing but after what happened he wouldn't be doing that without important reason.
The two girls you see in the begining are Taliyah and Kai'sa. Taliyah is a stone weaver, something like and earth bender from "Aavatar" series. She's a mage from Shurima and those are terrains of Shurima. The statue you see is a statue of ancient Ascended, a demigod from Shurima in the times of its empire days. The dark twist is almost all Ascended got corrupted and turned into the Darkin, hence why the scar. The rumor is that scar was put there by another Darkin, Aatrox. But I got sidetracked. Taliyah's companion is Kai'sa, a woman who has fallen into the void as a child, but she somehow survived by bonding with a voidling symbiotic creature which now serves as her armor and weapons. Kai'sa managed to escape from the void recently and met Taliyah. Now they are travelling together to find out what the fuck is going on.
The Void is another plane of existance. Beings that live there were kinda asleep, almost non-existant. But they sensed Runeterra coming into existance and this forced them to exist too. And they absolutely hated it. So they all now work tirelessly to get rid of Runeterra so that they can go back to sleep again. Small beings from The Void spawn in Runeterra through Void Rifts as voidlings. Once in a while something big and powerful goes through. Something like Rek'sai, a huge monster Taliyah and Kai'sa are fighting in this cinematic. Rek'sai is a territorial creature, she considers that desert part of her hunting grounds and kills every living creature that she sees.
The girl on the boar is Sejuani, she's the leader of one of three tribes in Freljord. Those bear shamans she fights in this cinematic are the Ursine, followers of Volibear, one of the gods of Freljord. Ursine have stolen Ornn's magic pot which can feed an entire tribe. Sejuani wants to claim it back. Both to feed her people and to use it to get on Ornn's good side as the help of Ornn wouldn't be somthing to scoff at.
Lastly there's Pantheon, a former Aspect of War from Mount Targon. Targon is a celestial plane where divine beings dwell. Pantheon was the vessel for Aspect of War, but got killed by Aatrox, one of The Darkin. But he somehow survived and he also has part of his former power as an Aspect. He feels his rightful place is on Mount Targon, so he's climbing the mountain to reclaim what he considers to be rightfully his. The golden warrior woman is Leona, The Aspect of The Sun. She doesn't think Pantheon is worthy to be on Mount Targon since he got defeated. And this is why he fight.
The star that hit Pantheon was most likely thrown by a Celestial Dragon, Aurelion Sol. He's a being more powerful than any Aspect, but Aspects tricked him into wearing a magical crown which forced him to do their bidding. Therefore he hates all Aspects and he would be more than happy to attack Pantheon. Luckily for Pantheon Aurelion Sol apparently didn't feel it to be necessary to come in person. Otherwise Pantheon would most likely be dead in an instant and not just kicked out of Mount Targon. But as you can see Pantheon is a kind of guy who comes back through a window when kicked out through the door... ;)

A little background for the video this is actually a lore cinematic, the first guy we see Ornn is a demigod of the Freljord which is the ice place he’s the spirit of forging and craftsmanship what he’s making is probably the I.E a weapon you can use In game, he’s a huge part to this as he stopped crafting weapons and tools because mortals were dying by them, to me this means something huge is coming and he’s trying to help the mortals.
The boar is named Bristle he is sejuani’s mount, the white haired women on top of him, she is a brutal and warm other of the winterclaw, a tribe who lives in the freljord the are actively searching for an item Ornn crafted which is a pot that can supply unlimited food Which the Ursine have. The lighting bear people are called the ursine a big tribe in the Freljord who worship Ornn’s brother Volibear who like Ornn is a spirit god of the Freljord, he’s the silhouette you see in the clouds above the Ursine, he’s the god of war and storm and is very protective of his land. Like very very protective.
The native looking women is taliyah who’s a nomadic mage from shurima the desert area, she’s basically an earth bender just really powerful. The faceless statue you see is of an ascended, which means they were somehow altered by magic, mainly celestial magic. The statue is of xolaani.
The KD/A person is Kaisa, someone that was claimed by the void when she was just a child. Her suit is actually a parasitic voidling that wraps it’s “skin” around her for armor. I’m the cinematic she had just escaped from the void where she then started helping taliyah, and at the end she sacrifices herself to help taliyah against rek’sai who is an apex predator in the void, ruthless and has an insatiable hunger, where they then fall back into the void.
The Leonidas character is pantheon. His real name is Atreus, he was taken over by the aspect of war, aspects are what you can call gods which live in MT Targon where pantheon is headed. After being taken over by the aspect of war Atreus gained the powers of the aspect and lost control of his body, he would later fight aatrox the god killer, he’s a darkin that takes the form of a blade and takes over bodies. But Aatrox’s blade killed the aspect Inside of Atreus. Atreus refusing to die to a blow that literally killed a god. In time he embraced the power of his own morality and with the stubbornness that comes with him, he now opposes the aspects and fights for humans. He’s called the unbreakable spear because of his will to move forward no matter what. After fighting Aatrox again, going against barbarians that Aatrox convinced to fight, his act reignited the star of pantheon and he gained his powers back. I’m the cinematic he’s on his way up to Targons peak where he would be able to enter the gate and fight the aspects, the star or comet that shot him down the mountain is believed to be from Aurelion sol, one of if not the oldest celestial who can make and destroy worlds at whim but was tricked and is now held captive by the aspects and used how they please. The fire lady is an aspect host. Leona is em yes with the power of the sun and a holy warrior of the solari who protect mount Targon.
I highly recommend you look at Pantheons lore and voice lines he is my favorite champion for lore.

    Ornn is the Forged God
Sejuani's mount is a boar named Bristle. She rides him in game, (some of her skins he is a different creature). That sequence also has Olaf (craxy double axe dude) and the followers of Volibear (seen in the clouds)
Kai'sa (K/D/A girl) is helping Taliyah (nomadic mage from Shurima) and the big Void creature they are fighting is Rek'sia
And I am not sure on the whole story with Pantheon (Spartan looking guy), Leona (Solari fighting Panth) and Aurelion Sol (star type deity that we dont really see we just assume the "Starfall" is his.

Some small Lore Dump you might or might not know:
Suajini (The woman on the hog) made a deal with an ancient god knows as Volibear, however, Boli is a terrible entity so eventually she broke the path and is waging war at him, and here she's with Olaf, a fierce warrior (as you can see he took a whole ice pillar to the back like a champ) and some of her warrior to free herself from his domain. She's NOT fighting him, just his minions, human transformed into bear hybrid in pain.
Atreus (Spartan) was once the behicle of the god of war, Pantheon (as his name is in the game), the god fought a fallen demi-god by the name of Aatrox and died, but Atreus survived. He nows retains thje godly power, he was desulusioned with the God that play with human lifes like playthings, and went to Mont Targon to fight them, the lady in Armor is Leona and has the aspect of the Sun. He doesn't use his spear with the mortals because his objective is to free humanity from the god subjugation, so he doesn't like to kill people, and often plea with the human side of the aspects.
For Kai'sa and Taliyah, they are at the dessert at the west of the world, they are chasing down a threat of the void (a dimension of lovecraftian horrors that is spreading to runeterra), that beast is Reik'sa (all voidlings have a "´" in their name, Kai'sa is a human fused with a voidling, hence her hunting of such creatures) The scene where she exchanges glances with Taliyah is due the fact that he plan involves luring Reik'sa to the void once more, but also rapping her there, funcioting as a sacrifice.
For the small fractions, when Ornn shows up, he's a god at the same vein (actual brother) of volibear, he's a forger, and everything he mades is godly, he made a door so powerful it couldn't be broken, he made a pot that never runs out of food, he also never makes weapons. He'sa pacifist, he making a sword says a lot.

12:30 thats an Ult but its actually not her ult. That "meteor" you see is actually a Star that is created and throwed at pantheon from Aurelion Sol(another LOL Champ). The story behind this is that Pantheon(the spear guy) is some sort of Demi-God that goes around killing another Gods and Demi-gods. The scene is about Pantheon trying to kill Leona(the woman with the Sword and Shield), but Aurelion(the most powerful being in the LOL universe) sees the fight and doesn't like that so he throws a star at his Enemy(Pantheon).
There is a whole story about those champs and how they know each other but it is too long to tell it here.
