Hi. Excellent video. I have been using the same router for 1 year. Recently, I got an upgrade on my Internet speed (went from 30 to 200 mb) but I have had issues as the Internet speed speed drops significantly when the router is 1 floor away (I go downstairs in a standard home). Did you have the same problem?

Nice review! I bought an AX 50 v1.0 in July 2020 as AP+router for my 1gbps cablemodem line. Now in April 2021 the connection drops and lockups are getting very frequent, several times per day. There wouldn't be any problems if you don't touch the QoS settings. And I would not recommend if you are on a 500mbps above plan. Don't buy if you have plans to make any NAS with the USB 3.0 port available on the router.

3. Do you have any wireless devices such as soundbar? Some times it can interfear. You may try using different channels for the 5ghz band. (DFS channel)
4. Is your wireless client capable of achieving the full speed?
5. With 1.9Gbps nego speed, you should get atlease 850Mbps download
May I know how To Set Tp Link AX50 LAN Port 4 IPTV To Normal Internet Port with (4 Internet Lan port access)? I'm using Malaysia UNIFI Internet.

Can we increase the wifi speed to 3000 mbps??
I am using Huawei Wi-Fi 6 Router but the speed is very bad for it. I m planning to buy TP-Link AX50 3000Mbps
Hi.
I would like to know if this router has mesh technology. Thanks
Hi this router don't support mesh till now.
How about the range coverage and speed
Its already included in this video in detail. Thank you.
Hi my friend excellent review.
Could you help me out advise me please. I'm sure you've heard of the trouble lot's of people are having with their ISP Modem/Router all in one modems. I have VIRGIN MED SUPER HUB 3 & it's not very good as a router. I know people are getting round this by turning the router part off &putting it into modem mode only then using their own router with the modem. Could you please advise me on how to do this please 🙏 I'm knot very tech savy so it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. 👍✌.
I am happy to help, This is what I could find
1. While connected to the Virgin Super Hub 3, open web browser and type in 192.168.0.1
2. Password is printed on the bottom of the Hub
3. Select Modem Mode on the left hand side of the screen
4. Select the option next to " Enable Modem Mode"
5. select " Apply changes. Reboot.
Now connect LAN cable from Hub 3 to Tplink router (blue port)
Follow the instructions to configure tplink router. (you can either use tether app or web to configure tp link router) you may refer to my video for setting up the device.
Hope this helps
Very good 🙂☺️🙏
I have this router for a month. But the problem is that this router is getting too much hot from the bottom and sometimes it automatically fluctuates speed.
Can be controlled to an extend by keeping it raised
Bos should i get 1800/3000 im using 500mbps plan pls reply fast subscribed!
1800 should be fine
@@GTCREATIONZZ bro how to setting ya i only get 300 instead 500 on ax3000 same as u
Need to change to 160Mhz in the router settings to unlock full bandwidth. Explained in the video.
@@GTCREATIONZZ already but same i got 250/500 i already call unifi they will fix tomorrow
Does this AX50 support PoE?
Hello,i have sam router, and Bt brodband full fibre 500,how to connect this router?somebody help me please?
Just connect LAN cable from modem to WAN port on the router and configure the router.
Хороший роутер. За свою цену
Yes 👍
@@GTCREATIONZZ hey i also want to ask is that is there any other product we can buy instead of this as wifi 6 router under 10000?
@unboxing of all , Can consider ASUS WiFi 6 Router RT-AX56U AX1800
Question to ask, if i have a 1 gpbs internet speed from my ISP. What Wifi 6 router would you recommend to me? The price of this AX50 for me right now is S$80(SGD) after discount. Thanks. Great editing.
I would suggest you to wait for a while, wifi6E routers will soon hit the market. If you want one urgent, go for the Asus one within your budget. I went for AX 50 because it has usb 3.0. But the transfer speeds are slower than USB 2.0
ax73
@@GTCREATIONZZ
Please, which is the average speed that you obtain with the USB 3.0 port on this model? I need too a router to attach a server and, of course, I'm looking to get the fastest transfer speed. Thanks!
@@gbil393 HI, I believe this part is covered in the video.
Sir, in wired client or wireles client. can allow to change clients name?for verification if i have more devices connected in this router. thanks
Yes the wireless clients can be renamed. I haven't checked the wired.
@@GTCREATIONZZ thank you sir
how many devices can be added for wifi Mac Filtering?
Not very sure about this
I have bt 900 what router would you recommend
TP link AX73 is good option
is good for gaming like ps5 and xbox x ?
I haven't tried online gaming.
hey....is it have still heating issues or kind of speed fluctuation after using this long time?and yes is it good to go with? i am thinking to buy wifi 6 router and really panic what to choose pls help me and pls rply ..
There wouldn't be any problems if you don't touch the QoS settings. And I would not recommend if you are on a 500mbps above plan. Don't buy if you have plans to make any NAS with the USB 3.0 port available on the router.
@@GTCREATIONZZ tp link arche ax20 1800mbbs would be better then ?
Can not confirm without trying. But the total bandwidth is halved. If you use a number of devices, could have the impact
@@GTCREATIONZZ So honest!
Why is my AX50 limiting my speed to 200mbps while my internet plan is 600mbps?
If you have watched, the video you can find that inorder to get full bandwidths you need to manually select 180mhz channel width
@@GTCREATIONZZ Yes I did, I'm directly connected to it wired and still getting 200mbps. Port negotiations are currently set to 1000mbps full duplex for both ISP router and AX50. Also my desktop recognizes the 1gbps port negotiation I set.
Try factory reset
@@GTCREATIONZZ I already did that. I replaced the cables too with cat6.
Once I had this issue and sent for replacement
Does this router have heating issues??
It heats up. But never faced issues in performance because of that
I think ax50 does not support mu mimo! Im confused bet asus and tplink..also bet jio fiber or airtel xstream!
Ax 50 has mu mimo. If you have budget, I will definitely suggest asus one
If I using wifi5 do I still get the feature of MU-MIMO from this router?
Yes, if the connected device supports
مجرد ترويج للميزات الوهمية لا تصدقوا أي شي عن الجهاز هذا
عن تجربة كان سيء يخنق بيانات كثير و يرفع حرارة و غير مستقر
Where is wifi 6 in this router. It show only 2.4 & 5.2
I believe that you have watched the full video. Wifi 6 isn't a setting, its a wifi standard. You will get the benefits of wifi 6 if the connected device is wifi 6 compatible.
Ax73 or ax50 or ax20
Which one you suggest ??
Ax73
Does it get hot??
Little bit
GT CREATIONZZ does it affect the overall performance speed??
Not really
Please review tp link archer ax73
I would really love to but unfortunately I don't have it.
Can it be used in a 200mbps plan
Should be more than enough. You can also consider AX10
@@GTCREATIONZZ it just has a price difference of 1200 and in future speed would be increasing only
@@GTCREATIONZZ it has been over a month what are your experiences with the router or I should have considered d-link dir-2660
For 200mbps speed, its not a big deal. You will always get the full speed based on the devices you are using. Overall its a OK router.
@@GTCREATIONZZ what about D-Link DIR-2660
Which one better this or asus tuf ax3000?
Asus

Hi ! Have you got 1gbs fiber ?
Yes. 1gb download and 500mb upload
@@GTCREATIONZZ Okay ! Just buy the router and i Will have fiber in 10 days... ;)
I hope i Will have this speed, got 1gbs / 400mbs
You will get this speed only if the connected device is supported.
Terrible router. Slow and buggy. Review posts in official TP-Link forums. They refuse to take any proper responsibility on the bugs
True. I got one replaced during warrants period. The support was really good.
TP link is trying to dominate the market. They try to make too many products. Their designs are sloppily done, their quality control is non existent, and their reliability is poor. Even their USB dongles die after a short time of operation.
Could do with lower volume on music or remove it! It's too distracting. Also either call it an AX3000 or AX50 tp-link should stop putting 2 names on them!
