The average person has the expected lifespan of a hundred years. But society still expects us to choose and get a job right after u finish school and work hard to provide for ur family. Just like they did when the life expectancy of people were around 60~80 years. In Korea, i'm 18 and my birthday is still 3 months away which means that i've lived a little over 16 years. I still feel confused about myself and my own emotions and teachers ask me what i need to do to help this society.

Besides the delicious recipe, I honestly teared up listening to your story for this vlog. There's something so reassuring about being told that it's okay to start something new, or start over no matter how 'late' in life it may be. Thank you so much for this.

Hi Aunty. I'm 22 year old, about to enter my last year of college. I'm trying to enter medical school to become doctor. I have been unsure about it my entire life, and honestly idk when i'll ever be 100% sure this is really what I want to do. I really hope that right now, I am making the right decisions for future me. But thanks for letting me know that even if I'm not, it will be okay. I will be okay. ❤️

I think the fact you mentioned that you are only 42 and achieved even more than what you already have. You inspire me to do more with my current life (and it's decent now but I don't feel completely fulfilled) to become passionate about something.

I stumbled on one of your shorts and you were making this fascinating stuffed potato donut while doing a voice over of this intense breakup story. At the same time it was a mirror into a similar situation I had been through. So now this is my third video and I have pre-ordered your book. I enjoy Korean food because of it's healthy qualities and now seeing you create vegan recipes sparked my interest. I say all that, to say your videos will be a part of my chill Sundays.

I love your videos. I just got my three year diploma in engineering and am not working towards my degree. But I honestly dont want it. I want to paint and make music. I'm good at painting it and it makes people happy when they see what I've made for them. I want a small life of creating art. Not creating buildings and roads. But I wanted something solid that I could use to support myself. So I chose engineering. It's going well I just cant help but wonder how hard I'd get if I dedicated 5 years into painting and music instead of engineering.

The only thing that ever made me feel that way was swimming… and then I developed a reaction with the chlorine that kept causing bronchitis, and caused me to develop asthma, which I have to this day, more than 20 years later. 🥲 Giving up swimming was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. The way I can describe it, with the most intense impact, is that giving up swimming was like losing the love of my life. It has been devastating to me for all of these years.

I cut ties with some of my friends whom I've been friends for like 17 years.. it was more like family thing than friendship. For them am a villain now and a bad person. I did that because they were friends with my ex which i didn't like. They were with that person who hurt me the most. Being honest it was hard for me too to cut ties but i did it anyway. Does that make me a bad person?
And not to mention your voice is one of those things that heals me thank you!

I realized how ambidextrous I am when watching this like she is only using one hand to cut stuff or only using the spatula in one hand. Guides the food with the same hand and holds with the other.I didn’t realize I was cooking so abnormally😂 like I switch hands every five seconds like what ever hand is closer is doing that task. I use knifes in both hands guide hand changes spatula is left handed most times because I have my phone in my right😂
