    "I don't think it will have an impact on recruiting." What??????
    USC loses 30 scholarships over the next 3 years (10 per year) and now bowls for the next two years. Top Recruits will not want to play for a team that will not play for a national title.

    USC will be severely hurt. Both Washington and Miami never fully recovered from their sanctions which were less severe. Miami won 4 NT in 12 years prior. They have won only one since and none since 2001. They have had losing seasons and are now just a fringe top 25 program. Washington went to numerous Rose Bowls, won a NT, should have won a second. Post sanctions they have only one Pac Ten title and had numerous losing seasons and haven't been close to a NT. The stigma will endure.
