anotheraccount420 aha I saw a skit with a group of blind people next to a person being arrested and the black guy said "I'm so glad we're white!" And they laughed and walked into a wall.
sorry, I think thi is a urban legend that arises in leftists societies like this. Fisrt of all typical black people usually have curled hair. PLUS skincolour is a topic in our society so it is highly posible that he asked or that other people already told him. Execpt he is very young. However that racism is about skincolour alone is an urban legend. "racism" that haveing recentment towards people who look different is not only about skincolour its much more. by the way this blind man was kept safe and was cared all his life long. he doesnt now much about the daily struggle in life. oh buy the way you said is was a skit that david chapelle did. I saw this too late. But here you see peopel have clichee like opinion about blind people.
@Rising Phoenix - What are you talking about? It was a sketch not an urban myth purported to be true! "Leftist Society"?! Honestly, by association you have completely misinterpreted what those words mean and their relevance to racism or any kind of prejudice- you're just using a term you've heard others say and effectively copy & pasting it into something where it isn't relevant. You see this so much nowadays- people use this political terms because they've heard them in another context and by association presume them to mean something very different than their political definition, e.g. the word "Liberal"- presumably you by association think that's a "Leftist" trait? Please do tell what "Leftist societies" has to do with anything here?
the whole concept of "prejudice" is totally flawed in our modern leftist society. "Prejudice" is nothing more than a generalisation. and generalisations are formed natuzarally by our human consciousness all the time? What is a generalisation? If you have a good number of event happening in your life you begin to come to certain conclusions about something. That does mean you see a recurring pattern. For example with black people there are certain patterns they behave or they influence their surrounding. It NOT always true, of course. Then it would be a law or a rule. Laws of nature are ALWAYS true. We as human form generalisations to keep us alive. Lets say a lion can be really nice and cute, but the gerneralisation is "Lions can be dangerous" os as a "prejudice" "lions are dangerous". even though itz may not always be true this is a good generalisation or "predjudice". what pisses me often about te term "prejudice" in our modern leftist society is that its used as "prejudice"=not true. this is absolutely bullshit. even if it is not ALWAYS true, doesn't mean a prejudice is always wrong. There is a REASON why human being form "predjudices" or generalisation, and that's, very often there are true. if prejudices would be allways wrong or not true, this would make no sense to form one. Definition of leftist society: the total destruction of values in our society that worked very well for centuries or hunderds of years. for example the existence of borders, man/woman relationships, traditions, being suspicious of people from other regions of the world, etc. that does mean: "please come in, it doesn't matter where you come from, we just have to be kind to each other and open our hearts it will work out just fine and beautifully. Borders dont matter. Skincolour doesnt matter. Differences in education dont matter. in other words the total destruction of society, of all that our ancesters found out and the values that they have givien so trustfully to us --- welcome to mickey Mouse land.
This guy is so awesome. He has literally never seen and can't comprehend seeing or what anything looks like. But he still understands so much and is very happy
I saw a UA-cam video with the same concept as his party. It was a room with a few people at a table, and they simply talked. At the end, the lights were turned on, and they were all amazed by the people beside them. It was pretty cool.
I love the "blind" party idea. Imagine if every sighted person had to spend time blind, experiencing the world for what it is and not what they expect it to be.
I don't know this for sure, but I'm pretty sure its not so much that Black people's skin produce more natural oils, but that we focus *much* more on moisturizing our skin than White people. This is because when our skin becomes pretty dry, its immediately visible in the form of ash (subtle whitish patches across the skin, especially areas that are naturally dry like between your fingers and your elbows). Since White people already have pale skin, they don't get ashy when its dry (so no one would know your skin is dry unless they touch it), so there's not much need to moisturize regularly. Meanwhile, its *extremely* rare to find a Black family that doesn't use lotion. And if they don't, they need to buy some ASAP. Most of us Black people put on lotion just as much as deodorant, or as much as White people shampoo their hair. Another reason, which is just a guess, is probably that darker skin is less prone to damage from UV radiation because of melanin (which gives us our darker color). A lot of White people moisturize to prevent sun damage, which isn't a problem for Black people; we don't even use sun block (except for lighter skinned Black people).
Prince Asim my elbows and knees are darker and I'm light skinned but I can't get rid of it but washing and scrubbing nor by moisturizing. my mom is white and my dad is mixed Brazilian so maybe that has something to do with it .
Prince Asim I don't use lotion and I'm colored. I have really moisturized skin. I don't get ashy or dry except my scalp because of psoriasis in that area. But I am light skinned and I wear sunscreen in summer not that I burn I just get darker
That was my first thought about the moisturizers. I have noticed that black women tend to moisturize their skin, and Tommy said he touched a black woman.

Hi Tommy, I am a French journalist. I work for the magazine Les Inrockuptibles. I am writing an article about how blind people experience romantic relationships. How they find someone attractive. How the use of their other senses compensate their lack of vision. One of your old videos precisely dealt with that issue and I would really appreciate talking to you about that. How could I reach you ? See you soon ! Best. Laura Wojcik
I sometimes thought, it would suck to be blind and not be able to see after seeing for so long. But at the same time not seeing is a blessing in a way most people wouldn’t understand. You SEE the hearts of people, and you’re not clouded by the judgement of appearance or vanity. You’re true to yourself and those around you, and you’re way better at reading people, by what they have to say or how they treat you or others. It’s a disability in a WAY, but a blessing in so many ways. God bless you, I subscribed because you inspire me.
I also believe he said in an older video that he had to learn some of those micro expressions that are common in his culture. So while the basics are there, the little things like smiling while someone is talking (cus how would he know people does that while listening to each other) and other similar things, he has reached a higher level of accuracy in his facial expressions.
I just discovered your channel. I feel sad thinking you’ve stopped doing this. I’d like to know that you are okay. You left us with an amazing collection of great videos. And for that I’m so grateful.
this just shows that looks dont matter, and blind people show the true and pure meaning of equality. We can learn from what they say and feel, and that discrimination is just something that we made from our sight and minds.
Amazing video! I really hope this video gets around. I know I'll be sharing it. Side note: Does it bother you when someone smells bad? Do you think you can smell people better because you can't see?
Wow! Tommy, this is so inspiring! I myself, as a seeing person, never understood why skin colour mattered. In primary school I had a friend who’s parent came from Cameroon. It never occurred to me she was different from me. Well, she was. She was a good fighter and even the boys didn’t like to challenge her. That’s the biggest difference between her and me. I was a wimp, always got beaten up and never fought back. With her around, I knew I was safe. Some things come so natural to us, we never realise how different it can be for someone else. I really never thought about people being born blind and them having no idea of their own skin colour or the differences in skin colours. I just never thought about that. How abstract must it be for you hearing people treat each other badly because of something like skin colour. This was very insightful. Thank you so much.
sounds similar to me your friend that is.. i was a fighter myself.. my friend who was pakistani was the one who couldn't fight he knew that i would protect him from the ones that were bullying him.. they'd try me too but i'd always fight back no matter what (i have dumb strength) i remember one time my stepbrother was really sad so i went over to him and asked him why he was sad. turned out he was afraid to go to school because a couple of boys kept bullying him and beating him up. so i told him i'd take care of it and i did.. now he's two years older than me so imagine this scenario 3 older boys of around 10 being beat up by an 8 year old little girl that is basically fearless.. ( basically we went out to the playground and he showed me whom it was.. i walked over they started being smug saying stuff like oh what will you do about it? before i just clapped their cheeks so hard i knocked one of them out and the other two went to fetch the guy's mother.. of course in this moment i realised i might have gone a bit overboard so we just went home) though to this day the most chuckle worthy part of this story was the fac that his parent's came to my dad's house angrily and were like: your daughter beat our son up so hard his nose is broken. so i just came along and even they were absolutely gobsmacked by me.. my dad just replied with a very calm: well then your son shouldn't have bullied her stepbrother before shrugging and closing the front door on them
Litch The Shinigami somehow I picture this like the scene in that first Miss Congeniality movie, where she was that kid that did what you did. I’m glad your dad didn’t punish you for it and I bet those bullies thought twice before attacking your brother again 😁
When I was in college, I went on a late-night hike in a big group. I met a girl and we talked the whole time. I really thought she was something special and was very interested in knowing her better. When we got back someone turned on a lamp or something and we could see each other. Instantly we were both completely uninterested in each other. She wasn't ugly, nor was I, but we just had no more chemistry, whatsoever. We never talked again. I think about that experience a lot. Sometimes I wish we, as people, couldn't see each other.
This guy just makes me happy, don't know about anyone else but he is so genuine.

I LOVE the idea of a blind party. This is a great idea and it would be really "eye opening" and a refreshing point of view. It would be interesting to see what we imagine the person looks like just by the interaction with them.

Your perspective is so humbly simple, and Its truly amazing. Binge watching your videos!
I loved the party idea, that was an amazing unique idea that I've never heard, and when I hear about it, the idea comes from a blind since born person.... Amazing.
It takes a blind person to make us see what to look for.

HUMANITY HAS FAILED AGAIN, PEOPLE COMMENTING WITH HATRED ON SUCH A PURE VIDEO......
This guy has a beautiful way of looking at life. I can sense how genuine he is, and that he seems like a person who is happy, and not resentful of his situation. I would love to have a party in the dark, and meet people. Truly meet people! For who they are, and not for how they look. What a beautiful idea :) I will subscribe, as in a very short amount of time, this video made me stop what i was doing, and really think about life, love, and gratitude. Thank-you for this video, i will be watching more.

You are categorizing him as a blind man instead of a person.
"My being blind has nothing to do with my character."
Wrongo, you developed a profound sense of humility many people have a hard time developing. I think you are beautiful because of this, and I think part of this came from your blindness.
Not that I wish you were blind for the sake of developing humility, but I think your adversaries shaped your beautiful heart 💕

Great comment but I think you mean adversities and not adversaries.

love all your videos. You're just a great person.
this reminds me of the skit Dave Chappelle did of a blind black guy who hated black people and didn't know he was black
anotheraccount420 aha I saw a skit with a group of blind people next to a person being arrested and the black guy said "I'm so glad we're white!" And they laughed and walked into a wall.
sorry, I think thi is a urban legend that arises in leftists societies like this. Fisrt of all typical black people usually have curled hair. PLUS skincolour is a topic in our society so it is highly posible that
he asked or that other people already told him.
Please do tell what "Leftist societies" has to do with anything here?
anotheraccount420 wow I literally just typed the same thing I didn't scroll down far enough 🤣🤣🤣
the whole concept of "prejudice" is totally flawed in our modern leftist society.

It’s called an internet chat room or Omegle
Prince Asim I'm black, and I use sun block...I'm not light skinned, and I burn easily.
DailyTomato Welll you're pretty much in the minority.
That was my first thought about the moisturizers. I have noticed that black women tend to moisturize their skin, and Tommy said he touched a black woman.
This is the mentality everyone ought to have. Imagine the beauty if we listened to souls instead of seeing bodies. If only...
Does anybody read the comments to him?? Cuz I want him to know that I was extremely touched with his opinion on others different from him. It really brought me to tears 😭
He can have his phone read comments to him!! At least i imagine he'd have that for things like texts and all that. Im subbed to another blind youtuber, Molly Burke, who explained to us how she listens to the comments on her phone and uses voice text to comment back and stuff like that!

Hi Tommy,
I am a French journalist.
Best.

You’re wrong about one thing, your blindness does affect your character, in an extremely positive way. We need more people like tommy
This reminded me of Dave Chappelle's blind black white supremacist sketch lol.
Me too hahaha
I sometimes thought, it would suck to be blind and not be able to see after seeing for so long. But at the same time not seeing is a blessing in a way most people wouldn’t understand. You SEE the hearts of people, and you’re not clouded by the judgement of appearance or vanity. You’re true to yourself and those around you, and you’re way better at reading people, by what they have to say or how they treat you or others. It’s a disability in a WAY, but a blessing in so many ways. God bless you, I subscribed because you inspire me.
i love that you're so positive!! 😄
This man I love this man
It's weird how someone who has never seen a facial expression still has completely normal facial expressions.
Teboski78 Science states that facial expressions are natural.
Captain Arzt Science isn't a monolithic entity.
I'm Back Man you're late, but also yeah you're right i worded that wrong
I also believe he said in an older video that he had to learn some of those micro expressions that are common in his culture. So while the basics are there, the little things like smiling while someone is talking (cus how would he know people does that while listening to each other) and other similar things, he has reached a higher level of accuracy in his facial expressions.
When was the last time you consciously made an expression?? It's not something you learn, it's something that you just do.
I just discovered your channel. I feel sad thinking you’ve stopped doing this. I’d like to know that you are okay. You left us with an amazing collection of great videos. And for that I’m so grateful.
both his eyes are blind, but instead he seems to have a third eye that is way, way more deeper and wider than a LOT of ppl.

I'm gonna be honest, this made me cry a little bit because dang. So true.
this just shows that looks dont matter, and blind people show the true and pure meaning of equality. We can learn from what they say and feel, and that discrimination is just something that we made from our sight and minds.
Truly one of the most kind hearted and genuine people iv ever seen. Heart of gold and such a good person.
love how he makes a little joke at the start and has a cute warm laugh about it XD
Amazing video! I really hope this video gets around. I know I'll be sharing it.
Side note:
Does it bother you when someone smells bad? Do you think you can smell people better because you can't see?
Well I'm not sure about for Tommy but I know that it's very common for people who are deaf blind to be very sensitive to smell
Thanks +Lucy Brown !

Whoever post this man's videos, tell him he is a really, really good human, and never need to change.
We should all be blind when we get to know each other

This man understands the world better than almost everyone else
Thank you, sir you are a true inspiration and I appreciate your thoughts, thank you.
if there is anyone that can make this party happen... its you.
YES
Aaron Haynes
Right...
The party without vision you mention, to me is such a pure and refreshing thing. I love it.
