Thank you for the fabulous video, Red! Excellent trains and spectacular scenery! How could it get any better than this? I for one hate to see the Iowa Northern go away. Not only do they have a gorgeous paint scheme, but I always root for the little guys. The underdogs, if you will. I really appreciate all of your work, Red, and I find it very entertaining! I hope you have a fantastic week, and please tell Walter and Roger I said hi. Be careful out there, and we'll chat again soon. 😃😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤❤
Very nice,I really enjoy the drone video,you do an excellent job piloting it. Very steady flight with great zoom transitions.. The view of the six locomotives from the air was awesome. Thanks for another enjoyable video.
I watch these guys as much as I can, I love the old power . Will be into see what happens to this old stuff I wonder if they will continue to use it on their current trackage. Good videos. Thanks
The car with the cottonseed going to Lamars,Iowa, is probably going to one of the big dairies there. They use cottonseed in the feed ration for dairy cows. Which produce milk and ice cream. They say the cottonseed gives the cows fiber and protein.
Replacing the Number Boards on Various Units because they’re also Installing LED Bulbs behind them and the Old Number Boards don’t give the proper Illumination.
Another great video Red, and as always you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one
@timmyfrierson2684 Thanks Timmy! I'm always looking👍
I love the way the IN locomotive sounds as it winds up to move, Red. That's so cool! ❤️❤️😎😎
Those IANR units are the "new" PTC equipped GP40's that have been hanging out behind the Waterloo shops for a long time.
I love seeing the trains running alongside the rivers, Red! Those shots are just awesome! Thank you very much. 😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤
@garymiller5937 You're welcome Gary!

I see Iowa Interstate in the Peoria, IL area frequently.
All the local railroad's motors are old EMDs.

@ferraritoybox You're welcome Clairence!
Love the iowa northern while we can. Wow 6 engines on cn. Impressive.
@@davidsnider1703 For sure. I need to get more Iowa Northern railyard views👍
8:59 that load must be super heavy to have all those trains 😯
@@corduerorose9747 A lot of those locomotives are probably off line and headed somewhere else for use👍
Really like that 4th unit on the first 571. Fresh rebuild on NS! That second 571 is great too. Get all those dash 9s and SD75Is while you can
@fallingup90 I noticed the fresh NS paint. Yes the dash 9s are probably close to term.
Dang, Red, that guy in the pickup at the beginning sure had a death wish.........awesome video, even with that❗
@paulsmith5398 Thanks Paul! That guy wasn't waiting😃
@@redsiowatrainvideos6645 yeah.........if he would have been about 5 seconds slower..........thats stuff nobody wants to see at a RR Xing. 😔.
Thanks Red. Yes 23 years ago - time just flys.
@fredtrench5684 You're welcome Fred! I definitely remember that day.

@hongs8867 I'd like to think they will keep that equipment for awhile.

I'd never seen 4100-series on IANR before. Hopefully means the sale fell through.

Two GP 40-2's, Red
@johnd4101 Thanks John!
It’s funny, using the old Canadian pacific paint
Another great video red did u get video of the big boy goin by your place?
@JohnNelson-i9v Thanks John! Yes I uploaded my Big Boy video awhile back👍
@@redsiowatrainvideos6645ok I was gone when it came thru town thanks red keep up the great videos
Good videos Red but the question I wondering is why they always have 2 hoppers at the beginning and the end of an ethanol train?🤔
@corduerorose9747 Thanks Corduero! The hoppers are called buffer cars and are for protection on both ends👍
What line is the near track, Red? 🙂🙂
@@garymiller5937 That's the Iowa Northern if you're talking about the river shot.
@@redsiowatrainvideos6645 Yes. Thanks, Red! You answered that later in the video. 🙂🙂
Yeah life is cheap
I see you got a shot of me working on that riverfront project. I can see my blue pick up truck with the red topper. At 8:45
@milwman1958 Sweet! Sure can see a lot with the drone👍
Not the mystery car any more but still fun to see it still in action making another trip west.
@sandyg9228 It's been a popular car👍
