Frankly, as a 37 year old Hog fan, that's exactly how I remember this rivalry going down since I was in high school -- going back to the first 'Miracle on Markham' upset by Arkansas back in '02, Houston Nutt and Nick Saban coaching. Arkansas vs LSU is almost always EXTREMELY competitive, regardless of how high either team is ranked or not ranked at the time. And as far as this year is concerned, LSU is likely to be the best team Arkansas faces all season, and I see no reason why we won't see LSU play Georgia again the SEC Championship. Obviously I'm very disappointed with the loss, but was happy to win some $$$ off that ridiculous 17-point spread that Vegas predicted for the LSU victory. #WPS

Hope your right about us getting a rematch with Georgia, but we definitely gotta play better and figure out a way to stop this qb draw run option thing KJ Jefferson did to us all night as bama is gonna try and replicate it as well when we play them and have better athletes on defense so it could be a problem for us if we can’t figure it out. However there is no one in Alabamas qb room that is anywhere near KJ Jefferson so we may be alright!
I believe LSU doesn’t care about the “golden boot”. Arkansas invented it . The Razorbacks are good and they always give LSU .trouble. The Tigers are solid and I’ll bet nobody likes to play them.
Let the excuses begin. D coach and secondary coach need to be called out! No spy on the QB and the secondary plays like the keystone cops in soft coverage! That's not LSU football! This game should have never been close. Since Aranda left we have been going south on defense. All we keep hearing are new excuses from the head coach. This is going to be a frustrating 10 yr marriage with this coach!
Should have never been close? LSU is good, but they are 100% beatable. It's already been proven this year. Actually, Arkansas was such an underdog BECAUSE of the BYU loss, but LSU and Arkansas are very evenly matched teams. This game played out as it should have, and could have gone either way. All scoring models played this game out 100 times and actually had Arkansas winning 68% of the time. It's cool to be a homer, but LSU is not what they think they are.
I don't know why Harold Perkins is 20 yards down field 60% of the plays. He should be spying and rushing the quarterback, that's what got him nomination for Preseason All American and All SEC first team and SEC Defensive MVP?😮
@@user-tt1qf5fg8b yeah all those missed tackles on KJ, Perkins would’ve completed those sacks in the backfield. LSUs linemen are too slow to stop a QB like that. The front seven will be alright id imagine. But Denver harris takes two steps forward and three steps back. And zy Alexander just isn’t SEC caliber. The best thing that can Happen for that secondary is Greg brooks JR coming back. And that ain’t looking likely
@@coreyrogers5358 Greg Brooks probably will never play Football again. The treat of KJ running was one busted coverage but 2 TDs he threw the receiver was covered. LSU missed too many tackles and a few of those were sacks or behind the line of scrimmage. LSU got caught giving up big runs when Arkansas was in a pass formation. That's on our coaching and Arkansas coaches doing a good job of scouting. The punters for both teams could of spent the 2nd half in the Student Section...
Arkansas is better than their record, had they not blown that lead to BYU they could be getting top 25 votes...
